Hmm, I say the top one, I don't like the lines running across the second one.

Top as well, the lines look a little out of place, like the Text on his hair, Not too bright but can still read it

ahhh, actually makes sense now so not too sure between the 2 :suspicious: if you could make the lines look a little more like lighting would be Ace, but could make the Avatar a little messy so not to sure *isnt good at making avatars though*

I dont really like the blue lightening, it's pretty cheezy.
The font is kind of off and you can barely see it :1
But I suck at Avatars too lol, no hard feelings.

@dyne- The best avatars? Well you do make some decent black & white avatars...I prefer the berseck one you had before this one though...

Whether the font is readable is not the point in an avatar. How many good avatars to do you see that you can read the font not many. Furthermore, Even good wallpapers usually have fonts that are unreadable.

i think the first one is better than the second....the lines on second look weird

tho as whole...well there isnt much you could mess up on those...theres just his face...so not much work done...

as to the claming the saying doesnt have to be readable..well if you put on the damn text then yes it should be readable..if not then why do you put it there

becuase Text isnt just meant for reading, its used to fill and and make your Avatar/sig look finnished AND you have to be damn stupid if you cant read that text in the Avatar


@Shino - Its too plain?, whats plain about it... Avatars are small spaces to work with, so being clear and clean not looking packed with useless effects and other crap, is a good thing. You are an epic fail

The first one. The lines just look out of place. I you want a lightning esque style for his powers you could always try some lightning brushes and just shrink the size down.
