Chapter 1/01- PILOT
Fade in:
1. -----------------------------------------------------------------1.
[Int. Vancouver Forest-DAY
Deep inside a forest we can hear gunshots in the background the gunshots are faint but you can tell someone is trying to defend himself from either and animal or a dangerous person. A 1995 Dodge Durango parks in an area of the forest the doors open and out come 4 men these men are: Eric, Douglas, Manuel, and Joseph, each one carries a shotgun in their hand and wear a denim jacket with a “wolf head” patch in the back. They suddenly begin to load their shotguns, and rush towards the forest. As they are running towards the area where the shots are being fired they start a conversation]
Douglas: Why didn’t he tell us he had found another one?
[They are talking about Derek, Eric’s older brother]
Manuel: This isn’t the time to think about that, he is out there alone, fighting you know what and that’s not a smart thing to do.
Douglas: Yes, but the problem is…
[Eric, who is worried about his brother Derek, cuts off Douglas]
Eric: The problem is Derek could turn out dead if we don’t hurry up.
[Joseph stops running and the others stop right after they noticed that Joseph (who possesses a unique hearing ability, like a bloodhound) has stopped.]
Manuel: Come on Joseph! We don’t have time!
[Joseph acts as though Manuel had never yelled at him, he is to concentrated on listening to his surroundings to hear the others argue. We then hear all the background noises fade away except the gunshots, we then hear a loud growl and the gunshots stop dead. Josephs face turns from a calm and relaxed expression to a frightened one]
Joseph: The gunshots they have stopped.
[Eric violently approaches Joseph and shakes him]
Eric: what did you say Joseph. Tell me now?!
[Josephs head turns right as though he is telling Eric and the rest that Derek is located in that direction]
Joseph: Follow me
[Joseph begins to go deeper into the forest towards the direction he pointed with his head and the rest follow him. Eventually they reach an area were the trees have been shot and the branches are laying flat on the ground, some trees have claw marks, that only a bear could make on them but that’s not the case here. In the middle of the forest area, lays Derek’s body covered in blood, he is scratched and is turning pale from the intense loss of blood.]
Eric: Son of a bitch!! I’ll kill you!
[Eric points his shotgun towards the trees and begins to shoot randomly at different areas. Manuel rushes behind him and tries to calm him down, Eric gives in and he does calm down. He slowly approaches his brother’s body in the ground, he falls on his knees and begins to cry hi holds his brother’s hand against his face. With all the life that is left Derek moves his head to look at Eric and opens his mouth to talk]
Derek: Yo… little… man…don’t…stop…now…other…people…depend…on…you…
[Derek’s words suddenly die, and he is no longer breathing. Eric closes his eyes and he hugs him. He rises up and has an avenging expression on his face.]
[Cut to]
2. ------------------------------------------------------------------2.
[Various scenes of website researching appear on the screen, we can only see “zoom-ins” of the various websites and the “google searches” all these are of the same topic “Werewolves”. Various illustrations appear on screen as well as blurry film footage. Eric’s voice can be heard while these clips go on and on he is completely Off Screen]
Eric [VO]: My brother once told me there was something else out there, something evil. I didn’t believe this at first, until he took me out on a hunting trip. On the day of his death, I promised him that the mission he had carried over the years would not be left undone…and that mission became my life’s purpose. Stronger more agile Werewolves began to appear, not like the ones my brother and I hunted. I traveled the world in search for answers, and I did, I found one. This time it would be different, my friends and I would have to prepare for war.
Cut to:
[Opening credits sequence]
3. ------------------------------------------------------------------3.
EXT. Animal Control Log house-DAY
[The log house looks like an old shack and it seems as though it had been forgotten the roof is painted green, like those log houses you see in cartoons. The camera moves towards it as if we were looking through the eyes of somebody. We finally move to the interior of the log house. There are 5 desks, two of them are empty, the desks where Eric’s and Derek’s. The other remaining 3 have an old desktop computer or a personal laptop as well as paper work. The only person sitting behind his desk is Joseph, who is listening to “I tunes” while he types up a report; his back is towards the camera. Manuel is taking a phone call and hasn’t noticed that someone has entered into the office. Douglas isn’t anywhere to be found in the office yet we know he is actually taking a piss in the rest room. The camera moves around the office and finally sets itself to the door by which the outline of a man can be seen. The man walks in, and it is Eric, his hair is up to his neck and he carries just one traveling bag in his right hand. He walks up to the front desk and rings the bell that is right in front of Manuel]
Manuel: one-second sir, I will be with you in a sec.
Eric: Is that how you greet your new boss, and best friend.
[Eric’s previous line gets Manuel’s attention and he stares to the man in the counter to finally see his best friend Eric. He gives him a hug, and starts to talk as though he had been brought back to life]
Manuel: Eric! I thought you were dead, I mean you suddenly left with no goodbye what so ever, what … [He gets cut off by Eric]
Eric: I will explain all my adventures to you some other time; I have more important things to do.
[Eric walks inside to the office area and places his bag on top of his desk; it makes a loud bang, which catches Joseph’s attention]
Joseph: For god’s sake, could you please keep it… Eric!
[He rapidly takes off his headphones and rushes towards Eric to greet him, he suddenly calls Douglas by banging on the bathroom door many times]
Joseph: Douglas, sorry to break your concentration man, but guess who arrived!
[Douglas voice can only be heard through the door]
Douglas: Ask me if I give a…
[Eric walks towards the bathroom door]
Eric: You kiss your mom with that mouth Douglas?
[We can hear the toilet flush and Douglas walks out zipping his pants up and jumps on Eric]
Eric: All right man, settle down. Now I need all three of you to go sit down in the waiting area. There’s some important stuff I picked up along my absence.
Joseph: Souvenirs?
4. ------------------------------------------------------------------4.
[Ext. of nightclub bar-DAY
It’s the middle of the day and the music is blasting out of the speakers, there are 2 windows in the front each one located to the right and left of the door. You cannot see through the windows because they are one-way mirrors, the nightclub has the name “Full moon” in bright red neon lights and the whole building is painted black. There is a red carpet that starts from the sidewalk and goes all the way under the main entrance door. The bar is closed, yet we can hear various people talking inside of it, possibly the staff.]
Cut to:
[Int. of the full moon
The music is louder inside of the club and the camera moves around the place showing how it looks like inside, basically the décor is very 18th century gothic like the cathedrals in France. There are various wolf fur curtains and there’s a lot of red leather furniture placed around the lounge area. In the center of the lounge area there is a group of men sitting down dressed in very gothic looking clothing. One of them is reading “The queen of the damned” by Anne Rice, while he is lying down in the U sofa. The other one is seducing two women who sit on top of each of his laps. The third one is sitting down in a very throne like red leather seat, we can tell that he is the leader of the people in the bar, and he is wearing a large wolf fur coat. His attention is then caught be a man who rushes towards him]
Man: Sigmund, sir you better take a look at this.
[Sigmund stares up to look at the man in the eyes; he has an uninterested expression as though he has been through this many times]
Sigmund: Did you make sure you didn’t make another mistake?
Man: I’m sure of that sir; a change this big in the location of the amulet wouldn’t be a mistake.
[Sigmund is now interested; he has been searching for this amulet for many years
Sigmund: Show me
[He gets up from the throne like chair and the man gives him a sheet of paper in which the information has been printed on, Sigmund slowly studies it as he walks across the lounge area, he finally stops and says in complete delight]
Sigmund: Someone brought it closer to us.
Cut to:
5. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 5
[Int. Animal control office -DAY
Joseph, Douglas and Manuel are sitting in the waiting area, in which Eric explained his travels around the world for answers. He is now holding a gold pendant. The pendant has two snakes and a crescent moon; it’s decorated with various jewels around it. Manuel is staring straight at it until he gets curious and looks up at Eric]
Manuel: You traveled the world to find a little collectible?
[Manuel’s answer annoys Eric for he traveled and risked a lot to obtain the pendant]
Eric: Yeah I traveled the world to find the truth, you see Derek…
[Joseph cuts him off]
Joseph: Is dead.
Eric: As I was saying, Derek researched this pendant, and maybe that is why the werewolves killed him, because they were afraid he would find it before him.
Manuel: So basically, you found the pendant by starting off where Derek left.
Eric: That’s a way of saying it. This pendant recently belonged to a high Russian priest; he took it to his grave…
Douglas: You killed him!?
Eric: No he died ages ago; his grave is a tourist area now, so it was easy to get in.
Manuel: I don’t get the feeling you went to the gift area to get that.
Eric: I stole it, if that’s what you wanted to hear. Now to the interesting part, a werewolf from Moscow killed Derek. I managed to get his name.
[Eric puts his hand in his jacket pocket and searches for something; finally he pulls out a small folded piece of paper and hands it to Joseph]
Eric: Joseph, can you get his address?
Joseph: we are going to kick his ass, aren’t we?
[Eric gives Joseph his trademark “You bet we are” stare]
Joseph: Valentin Orlov, all right, I’m on it then.
[Joseph walks towards the back of the office to his computer, where he sits down and begins typing the name]
Manuel: Please tell me this isn’t a vendetta Eric.
Eric: This isn’t a vendetta.
6. -----------------------------------------------------------------6
[A click is heard by the back door. The back door creaks open and Eric rapidly gets up from his seat and pulls out a small “pump action” shot gun, he turns around to face the back door and cocks the gun. From out of the door comes Daniel, who hasn’t noticed Eric’s sudden reaction. He is carrying take out bags from the local burger king two in each hand, he was obviously sent out for food]
Daniel: It’s chow… [He notices the shotgun being pointed at him] Whoa!
Eric: Who’s this guy?
[Manuel calmly gets out of his seat and walks to stand in between Eric and Daniel; he knows Eric will begin to get pretty aggressive by the time he answers]
Manuel: He is your replacement, but since your back, he is Derek’s replacement.
Daniel: Can somebody tell me what’s going on in here?
[Before anyone can answer, Joseph gets up from his seat}
Joseph: I got it!
[He runs towards Eric to hand him a sheet of paper with Valentin’s information printed on it. Eric puts the shot gun away and reads the information, seconds later he looks at Manuel]
Eric: Does he know how to shoot a gun?
Manuel: Yeah, we took him on some bear control…
Eric: Does he know how to hunt them?
[Daniels expression suddenly changes into a “what the hell expression”]
Daniel: What are you guys talking about?
Eric: I’m taking that as a no, well no time to give him any actual training. Bring him along.
Manuel: What…
Eric: You will give him all the info on our way there.
[He walks up towards one of the cabin’s walls, where there is a large metal closet, that’s slightly painted. He opens the closet and we can see 5 shotguns inside of it and 5 Denim jackets with a wolf head patch on the back, hung inside. He grabs one jacket and puts it on, finally he grabs one shotgun and cocks it, and he turns towards the other four]
Eric: It’s hunting time.
[Joseph and Douglas are the only ones to jump in excitement, Daniel has no idea what Eric is talking about, and Manuel seems to be disappointed by Eric’s sudden change of attitude]
7. -------------------------------------------------------------------7
[Ext. Log house cabin/ Forest-DAY
Eric, Douglas, Joseph, Manuel and lastly Daniel ere exiting the log cabin, each one of them is holding a shotgun, and wearing the denim jackets. Manuel is walking right beside Daniel, while the other 3 are in front of them. Eric stops and looks puzzled, as though something was missing]
Eric: Where is the car?
[Douglas suddenly giggles in excitement and he runs deeper into the woods]
Eric: what was that all about?
[Manuel walks up to Eric’s right]
Manuel: He has been waiting to do this
[Daniel all of a sudden runs towards Manuel]
Daniel: But the car is in the shop, we crashed it remember
[Eric turns his head to look at Manuel and gives him a “Tell me it isn’t true” stare by which Manuel replies with a small laugh. He then turns to face Daniel]
Eric: What you are about to see, you mustn’t go around telling people, understood?
[Daniel nods his head as to say yes]
Eric: Good, so firstly, we are not taking that car
[Instants later faint music can be heard from deep in the woods, we can hear tires screeching and a motor revving. The music becomes louder and louder as the vehicle gets closer to where Eric and the rest are. Leaping out from the woods appears the 95 Dodge Durango, except it’s modified with high intensity lights on the roof, a grill in the front bumper, its 3 inches higher than it was before and has larger wheels. It’s painted in a rusty gold color and has a small leaping wolf on top of the hood. The driver’s window opens and we can see Douglas inside of it, looking all hyped and excited to be showing off his piece of art]
Douglas: Now presenting the “brand new and ready to kick some wolf ass” Huntress.
Eric: huntress?
Manuel: He gave it that name, became very fond of it since you left.
Douglas: Eric, before you do anything I got three words for you. I’m-Driving-Bitch!
[Eric sighs and walks towards the Durango and goes around the front side towards the front passenger seat, the rest follow later and get inside the back passenger seats, once they close the door, we can hear the car’s engine rev and set off towards the highway, the sun is beginning to sit, indicating the beginning of the night]
[Int. Dodge Durango-NIGHT
Douglas is concentrated on the road, while Eric is giving him the directions; Joseph is starting to fall asleep in his seat, while Manuel is explaining to Daniel everything he knows about werewolves]
Manuel: Once we get to our destination, you do as I say and exactly as I say.
Daniel: What if I wanted to disobey
Manuel: Not if you wanted to live
[Daniel’s face makes a shocked expression in response to Manuel’s last comment]
Manuel: Forget whatever you have seen on Television or movies, what you have read in books, those things will not prepare you for what you are about to see. Are you familiar with the term “werewolf”?
[Daniel chuckles]
Manuel: This isn’t a joke, Daniel. Now answer my question.
Daniel: You make it sound like a…
Manuel: Answer the goddamn question!
Daniel: OK, OK. Yeah I’m familiar with it, but what does this have to do with hunting a large animal.
[Manuel turns to the front passenger seat to look at Eric; they both stare at each other for a few seconds, and then Manuel turns back towards Daniel and he continues to explain]
Manuel: I was just like you once
Joseph: Oh dear god. [Puts on his headphones, and begins listening music on his MP3 player]
Manuel: I once believed that the only danger to the human race was our race itself, but I was wrong. I used to be a stupid frat kid in college, booze and babes, the works.
[Annoyed Daniel scoffs]
Daniel: what are you getting at man?
[Manuel completely ignores Daniel’s comments, and carries on]
Manuel: One day I was so drunk I didn’t even have my god given common sense, so I went to this “special” party being held in my fraternity. What a surprise it was to see that, there were no chips and dip.
CUT TO:
8. -------------------------------------------------------------------8
[Int. of Alpha fraternity living room- NIGHT
There is a bunch of fraternity members scattered around the living room. Music is blasting from the stereo, there are beer bottles everywhere some are even smashed and on the ground. Most of the fraternity members are drunk. There is one of them who remains in his conscious state is sitting down on a black leather couch, his legs are resting on top of a small table, which has beers and slices of pizza over it. A young drunk Manuel comes walking in after a few seconds, he walks up to the guy sitting on the couch, whose name is Richard]
Manuel: What’s up my Hominess?!
[His words sound rather distorted when he speaks, since he has completely lost a bit of consciousness and stutters from time to time]
Richard: [With Irish accent] it seems you have been enjoying your stay here, am I not correct?
Manuel: Dude [He leans on the table so he doesn’t collapse on the floor] I just want to find some freaking food man, you know what I mean? I’m like starving.
[Richard gets up from the couch and walks towards Eric, he walks until he stands behind him]
Richard: Now that is strange, last thing I remember the food was in front of me.
Manuel: I’m in front of you man
[There is a large growl, and we can hear bones cracking. Manuel turns around to see Richard’s forehead has gone all bumpy and his eye have gone black as a dog. Richard’s shirt then begins to tear and eventually he rips it off to reveal that his chest is becoming wider and his whole torso is growing stronger but maintains it same size, his fingers grow thicker and his nails grow larger, His feet turn into large paws, about the same size as a size 14 shoe, finally black fur begins to grow and where once Richard once, there stands a black furred werewolf. Manuel jumps on the couch helplessly and he sees that the others who have also changed into werewolves have already killed some of the fraternity members. The door to the fraternity smashes open, attracting the attention of the werewolves]
Richard: Who the hell is it!
[A gunshot is heard and a werewolf falls dead on the floor, suddenly Eric and Derek walk into the living room, each wearing the denim jackets and carrying a shotgun. They begin to shot down the werewolves as they come at them. One by One they begin to fall. In the very end Richard is left standing, Derek Jumps in front of him, but Richard punches him away]
Richard: It’s rude to interrupt somebody else’s meal, you know.
[Eric jumps behind Richard but fails to surprise him since Richard kicks him out of the way. Richard turns and walks towards Eric, and lifts him up with one arm]
Richard: but its nice you provided and appetizer
[Derek stands up, cocks the shot gun, and points it towards Richard’s head]
Derek: Appetize on this, you ugly mother…
[Derek pulls the trigger and the gunshot is heard, the scene suddenly turns slow motion as Richard’s hand lets go of Eric, and Richard falls to the ground dead. We then go to Manuel who is still sitting in the couch and his face is spattered in Richard’s black blood]
Cut back to:
[Int. Dodge Durango-NIGHT
Manuel is done explaining the events that made him realize the existence of werewolves, to Daniel]
Manuel: That’s when I joined them, and now all of us have been hunting these creatures for a long time, until the day Derek died.
Daniel: So I am like, the replacement.
Manuel: No, you just happened to take the wrong job. The werewolf we are about to face is the one that killed Derek.
Daniel: It killed your leader? Well you might as well shoot yourselves now, than walk towards a painful death.
Manuel: We have taken that into account. He is stronger, faster and smarter than the other ones we have hunted, but if we ignore the situation any longer, then our whole purpose for hunting them will be in vain.
Daniel: Why is that?
Manuel: Eric has brought the final clue to the situation
Daniel: and what is that situation?
Manuel: A war, a war that we will surely lose, if they manage to gain the upper hand.
Eric: Game Over
9. ------------------------------------------------------------------
[Ext. of Apartment building-NIGHT
The Apartment building is four stories high and isn’t much of a sight. There’s graffiti all over the walls and dropped trash bags all over the floor, there is some steam coming out of a broken pipe somewhere underground. There are two stairs, one in each side of the building, these stairs lead to the various apartments in the building. The camera moves along one of the stairs as it goes up towards the 3rd floor, and goes into a large corridor. The corridor is covered by doors on both sides, the camera than moves around to face the stairs. In come Eric, Manuel, Joseph, Douglas, and Daniel with their shotguns in hand. They walk down the corridor and stop when they face a door with the number 3B which is in the back of the corridor. Eric faces the door, with his shot gun in one hand, Manuel moves to the right side of the door and readies himself to fire as soon as the door opens, Joseph stands behind Eric pointing the shotgun towards the door, Douglas is on the left side of the door, leaning against the wall, looking like a SWAT cop about to jump into the room.
Eric knocks on the door three times, each one after a slight pause. There is no answer behind the door, so Eric knocks on the door again. He then looses his patience and begins pounding furiously on the door. We hear a large metallic clunk coming from the fire stairs.]
Eric: He’s trying to escape, Douglas go to the van and move it to the back of the building…
Douglas: Gotcha, I will try and cut him off.
[He runs towards the stairs where they came from and is no longer in frame]
Eric: Manuel, can you Take care, of the new kid, he isn’t ready.
Daniel: But I can…
Eric: You’re not ready. Now let’s move!
10. -----------------------------------------------------------------10
[Ext. back of apartment building-NIGHT
Valentin is running scared down the stairs not even paying attention to where he steps, he eventually trips down the stairs only to violently stop 4 steps down, and he gets back up and suddenly hears tires screeching down the alley. He runs faster down the stairs but grows desperate and jumps. He lands on his feet and begins to run down the alley way, he is panting due to the fact that he is running with all the strength he has left.
He turns around to see Eric and the rest standing in the very end of the alley]
Valentin: You really don’t know what you are up against!
[Eric points his shotgun at Valentin and pulls the trigger; he purposely misses and shoots at a trash can that is located 4 inches next to Valentin. He jumps out of fright, turns around and runs towards the darkness.]
Eric: He is stalling, stay here.
Manuel: You said this wasn’t a vendetta.
Eric: This is my fight.
[Manuel sighs, as Eric slowly walks towards the darkness until he is no longer visible. We then see the “Dodge Durango” park behind them and Douglas comes out, Manuel turns around and gives him the “what the hell happened to you look”]
Douglas: What? I ran into traffic.
[We cut to Eric who comes out of the darkness behind him and is located at the very end of the alley, which is a dead end. Valentin is standing in the very end corner of the alley and slowly walks towards Eric]
Valentin: You must either be the bravest or the stupidest man I have ever known
Eric: I tend to be both of them at the same time
[Eric violently cocks his shotgun and points it Valentin, his eyes are filled with anger and he is ready to shoot him at any moment. Valentin begins sniffing the air as if he had recently picked up a smell]
Valentin: You stink of wrath little boy, I respect that of you. Anger is a very helpful tool in combat.
Eric: I’m starting to regret feeling sorry for your lame ass.
Valentin: Why such hostility, can’t we get along?
Eric: After what you did to my brother, getting along with you was the last thing in my mind.
Valentin: Oh, so that was you in the woods.
Eric: Glad you remember me.
[Valentin begins to slowly circle Eric]
Valentin: That’s not the only thing I remember, I remember beating up your big brother real good, but the bastard just wouldn’t die. Couldn’t find any enjoyment in killing him
[He then stops behind Eric]
Valentin: So now I’m going to repay that lost enjoyment with you.
[He kicks Eric in the back, and he goes flying across the air until he hits the brick wall, he falls, but he stands back up. His mouth is bleeding but he does not seem to mind.
Eric points the shotgun at Valentin, and pulls the trigger. He manages to hit Valentin knee but he doesn’t collapse, instead he rapidly runs and leaps on Eric. Eric gut punches Valentin to set himself free, but Valentin is tougher than he looks and doesn’t feel anything, he places his hand on Eric’s throat and begins to choke him, until Eric places the shot gun against Valentin’s stomach and pulls the trigger. Valentin lets go of Eric, who rapidly moves away from him and stands up.
Valentin begins to see steam coming out of the bullet whole, and notices he has been shot by a silver bullet; he lifts himself up aching in pain, and rips out his shirt. Valentin’s facial features begin to change into some more canine like features as he growls; his mouth turns into a wolf like snout. He grows larger, his hands start increasing in size as his nails turn into claws, his skin begins turning into a dark pale color his feet become large wolf paws, his spine arcs, and he starts to grow a very small amount of gray fur.
Were there once stood a human like Valentin there is now a large wolf Valentin, who moves its head to look at Eric, with his black eyes. We then have a few seconds of 1st person view as we see Eric through Valentine’s eyes; this image is in black and white, since werewolves are colorblind. Eric is slightly impressed by Valentin’s change.
Valentin swings at Eric with his arm, but barely manages to dodge as his cheek is scratched by Valentin’s large claws. Eric grunts in pain, cocks his shotgun and shoots at Valentin, who growls in pain.]
Valentin: You are better than the rumors say.
Eric: what rumors?
11. ----------------------------------------------------------------11
[Ext. back of apartment building-NIGHT
Douglas is sitting down on top of a wasted mattress; Joseph is sitting down on the ground with his hands on his chin as if he was listening to Eric’s fight. Daniel is walking from right to left continuously, and Manuel is still standing still facing the darkness where Eric is fighting, they all have worried faces on.
We can hear distant gunshots and trashcans falling that come from the end of the alley, some growls can also be heard.]
Joseph: Don’t worry Manuel, Eric is still alive
Manuel: I’m not, but I think we should go in there and finish it.
Douglas: Sure man, I mean, go ahead kill the werewolf assassin it isn’t that hard, oh wait I forgot. It killed Derek!
Manuel: You don’t think I’ve taken that into consideration.
Douglas: I’m just saying man.
[There is a slight silence. Manuel gets sick of waiting and cocks his shotgun and walks towards the darkness, Joseph stands up after him and walks towards the darkness too. Douglas is left confused and slowly stands up]
Douglas: WA…WA…wait! What are you think, you’re going to get killed with out me.
[Douglas runs off to the darkness leaving Daniel alone, but seconds later he comes back and drags Daniel by his shirt towards the darkness.
CUT TO:
End of the alley way where Eric is still fighting against Valentin. Valentin has various bullet wounds in his arms and legs but they are not fatal, He grabs Eric and tosses him against a wall, Eric looks pretty damaged after minutes of fighting and can no longer stand up with out leaning on something. Valentin is moving in on Eric to give him the killing blow, but as he raises his arm, a gunshot is heard in we can see a bullet pierce Valentin in his chest. He roars and growls in pain as the bullet burns through his insides. The camera moves to look behind Valentin and we can see Manuel holding his shotgun with smoke coming out of the barrel, behind him stand Douglas, Joseph and a scared Daniel. Valentin turns around to face them and makes a loud growl]
Daniel: What the hell is that?!
Manuel: Remain calm Daniel; it can smell your fear.
[Valentin sniffs the air]
Valentin: A new hunter, how nice, but he stinks of fear. Are you boy?
Manuel: Don’t listen to him Daniel, just shot him
[Daniel is shaking and sweating of fear, he can’t handle thinking about how he might die, and how hideous Valentin’s wolf form looks to him]
Manuel: Daniel shot him!
Daniel: I…can’t
[Valentin laughs out loud]
Valentin: You are all pathetic, with out your leader you are nothing.
[A gunshot is heard from behind Valentin and a bullet pierces his heart. Valentin slowly falls on the ground and changes back into his human form. He begins to breathe heavily as he dies. Eric stands up behind him and walks towards Valentin, he places the shot gun on top of his head, and Valentin’s eyes widen in fear]
Eric: I’m the leader now, requiescat in pace, you son of a bitch
[Eric pulls the trigger and we can hear the gunshot and see the blood spattering on the ground. Valentin’s head is now a pile of mush. Eric sighs and sits down to take a rest. Seconds later we can hear a cell phone ringing, Eric and the rest start looking around the area in order to find out where the ring is coming from, eventually Eric finds out that the ring is coming from Valentin’s pocket, and he puts his hand inside of it to find a cell phone. He opens the cell phone to see what’s on the caller ID only to find it displaying “Unknown caller”. Eric answers the call anyways]
Eric: Hello?
[From the cell phone comes Sigmund’s voice, who sounds very impressed]
Sigmund: I’m impressed, the way you took Valentin’s life in cold blood.
Eric: Who are you!
Sigmund: Relax my fellow hunter, you will find out in time, but I called to congratulate you on both bringing us the key and making this little war a tad bit interesting.
Eric: Listen wolf boy, I don’t care how happy you are, but there is one thing I care about, and that is, watching your corpse rot.
Sigmund: See, that’s what I like about you. I look forward to seeing more of your hunting skills.
[The call ends and Eric furiously tosses the cell phone against a wall. Manuel walks towards Eric to help him get up, but Eric gets up on his own, he walks slowly past Joseph and Douglas and stops in front of Daniel]
Eric: You are pathetic, Manuel, I want you to train him; there will be no rest until he is prepared to face them.
Manuel: What?!
Eric: You heard me! This has just begun
[Eric walks towards the darkness and disappears out of sight. The camera starts to move up slowly and stops at apartment buildings roof, where Sigmund appears in front of the camera, we can see that he was watching the fight from there since the very beginning. The camera zooms at his face and we can see him form a smile]

Chapter 1/01- PILOT

[Int. Vancouver Forest-DAY
Deep inside a forest we can hear gunshots in the background the gunshots are faint but you can tell someone is trying to defend himself from either and animal or a dangerous person. A 1995 Dodge Durango parks in an area of the forest the doors open and out come 4 men these men are: Eric, Douglas, Manuel, and Joseph, each one carries a shotgun in their hand and wear a denim jacket with a “wolf head” patch in the back. They suddenly begin to load their shotguns, and rush towards the forest. As they are running towards the area where the shots are being fired they start a conversation]
Douglas: Why didn’t he tell us he had found another one?
[They are talking about Derek, Eric’s older brother]
Manuel: This isn’t the time to think about that, he is out there alone, fighting you know what and that’s not a smart thing to do.
Douglas: Yes, but the problem is…
[Eric, who is worried about his brother Derek, cuts off Douglas]
Eric: The problem is Derek could turn out dead if we don’t hurry up.
[Joseph stops running and the others stop right after they noticed that Joseph (who possesses a unique hearing ability, like a bloodhound) has stopped.]
Manuel: Come on Joseph! We don’t have time!
[Joseph acts as though Manuel had never yelled at him, he is to concentrated on listening to his surroundings to hear the others argue. We then hear all the background noises fade away except the gunshots, we then hear a loud growl and the gunshots stop dead. Josephs face turns from a calm and relaxed expression to a frightened one]
Joseph: The gunshots they have stopped.
[Eric violently approaches Joseph and shakes him]
Eric: what did you say Joseph. Tell me now?!
[Josephs head turns right as though he is telling Eric and the rest that Derek is located in that direction]
Joseph: Follow me
[Joseph begins to go deeper into the forest towards the direction he pointed with his head and the rest follow him. Eventually they reach an area were the trees have been shot and the branches are laying flat on the ground, some trees have claw marks, that only a bear could make on them but that’s not the case here. In the middle of the forest area, lays Derek’s body covered in blood, he is scratched and is turning pale from the intense loss of blood.]
Eric: Son of a bitch!! I’ll kill you!
[Eric points his shotgun towards the trees and begins to shoot randomly at different areas. Manuel rushes behind him and tries to calm him down, Eric gives in and he does calm down. He slowly approaches his brother’s body in the ground, he falls on his knees and begins to cry hi holds his brother’s hand against his face. With all the life that is left Derek moves his head to look at Eric and opens his mouth to talk]
Derek: Yo… little… man…don’t…stop…now…other…people…depend…on…you…
[Derek’s words suddenly die, and he is no longer breathing. Eric closes his eyes and he hugs him. He rises up and has an avenging expression on his face.]
[Cut to]
2. ------------------------------------------------------------------2.
[Various scenes of website researching appear on the screen, we can only see “zoom-ins” of the various websites and the “google searches” all these are of the same topic “Werewolves”. Various illustrations appear on screen as well as blurry film footage. Eric’s voice can be heard while these clips go on and on he is completely Off Screen]
Eric [VO]: My brother once told me there was something else out there, something evil. I didn’t believe this at first, until he took me out on a hunting trip. On the day of his death, I promised him that the mission he had carried over the years would not be left undone…and that mission became my life’s purpose. Stronger more agile Werewolves began to appear, not like the ones my brother and I hunted. I traveled the world in search for answers, and I did, I found one. This time it would be different, my friends and I would have to prepare for war.

[Opening credits sequence]
3. ------------------------------------------------------------------3.
EXT. Animal Control Log house-DAY
[The log house looks like an old shack and it seems as though it had been forgotten the roof is painted green, like those log houses you see in cartoons. The camera moves towards it as if we were looking through the eyes of somebody. We finally move to the interior of the log house. There are 5 desks, two of them are empty, the desks where Eric’s and Derek’s. The other remaining 3 have an old desktop computer or a personal laptop as well as paper work. The only person sitting behind his desk is Joseph, who is listening to “I tunes” while he types up a report; his back is towards the camera. Manuel is taking a phone call and hasn’t noticed that someone has entered into the office. Douglas isn’t anywhere to be found in the office yet we know he is actually taking a piss in the rest room. The camera moves around the office and finally sets itself to the door by which the outline of a man can be seen. The man walks in, and it is Eric, his hair is up to his neck and he carries just one traveling bag in his right hand. He walks up to the front desk and rings the bell that is right in front of Manuel]
Manuel: one-second sir, I will be with you in a sec.
Eric: Is that how you greet your new boss, and best friend.
[Eric’s previous line gets Manuel’s attention and he stares to the man in the counter to finally see his best friend Eric. He gives him a hug, and starts to talk as though he had been brought back to life]
Manuel: Eric! I thought you were dead, I mean you suddenly left with no goodbye what so ever, what … [He gets cut off by Eric]
Eric: I will explain all my adventures to you some other time; I have more important things to do.
[Eric walks inside to the office area and places his bag on top of his desk; it makes a loud bang, which catches Joseph’s attention]
Joseph: For god’s sake, could you please keep it… Eric!
[He rapidly takes off his headphones and rushes towards Eric to greet him, he suddenly calls Douglas by banging on the bathroom door many times]
Joseph: Douglas, sorry to break your concentration man, but guess who arrived!
[Douglas voice can only be heard through the door]
Douglas: Ask me if I give a…
[Eric walks towards the bathroom door]
Eric: You kiss your mom with that mouth Douglas?
[We can hear the toilet flush and Douglas walks out zipping his pants up and jumps on Eric]
Eric: All right man, settle down. Now I need all three of you to go sit down in the waiting area. There’s some important stuff I picked up along my absence.
Joseph: Souvenirs?
4. ------------------------------------------------------------------4.
[Ext. of nightclub bar-DAY
It’s the middle of the day and the music is blasting out of the speakers, there are 2 windows in the front each one located to the right and left of the door. You cannot see through the windows because they are one-way mirrors, the nightclub has the name “Full moon” in bright red neon lights and the whole building is painted black. There is a red carpet that starts from the sidewalk and goes all the way under the main entrance door. The bar is closed, yet we can hear various people talking inside of it, possibly the staff.]

[Int. of the full moon
The music is louder inside of the club and the camera moves around the place showing how it looks like inside, basically the décor is very 18th century gothic like the cathedrals in France. There are various wolf fur curtains and there’s a lot of red leather furniture placed around the lounge area. In the center of the lounge area there is a group of men sitting down dressed in very gothic looking clothing. One of them is reading “The queen of the damned” by Anne Rice, while he is lying down in the U sofa. The other one is seducing two women who sit on top of each of his laps. The third one is sitting down in a very throne like red leather seat, we can tell that he is the leader of the people in the bar, and he is wearing a large wolf fur coat. His attention is then caught be a man who rushes towards him]
Man: Sigmund, sir you better take a look at this.
[Sigmund stares up to look at the man in the eyes; he has an uninterested expression as though he has been through this many times]
Sigmund: Did you make sure you didn’t make another mistake?
Man: I’m sure of that sir; a change this big in the location of the amulet wouldn’t be a mistake.
[Sigmund is now interested; he has been searching for this amulet for many years
Sigmund: Show me
[He gets up from the throne like chair and the man gives him a sheet of paper in which the information has been printed on, Sigmund slowly studies it as he walks across the lounge area, he finally stops and says in complete delight]
Sigmund: Someone brought it closer to us.
Cut to:
5. ------------------------------------------------------------------ 5
[Int. Animal control office -DAY
Joseph, Douglas and Manuel are sitting in the waiting area, in which Eric explained his travels around the world for answers. He is now holding a gold pendant. The pendant has two snakes and a crescent moon; it’s decorated with various jewels around it. Manuel is staring straight at it until he gets curious and looks up at Eric]
Manuel: You traveled the world to find a little collectible?
[Manuel’s answer annoys Eric for he traveled and risked a lot to obtain the pendant]
Eric: Yeah I traveled the world to find the truth, you see Derek…
[Joseph cuts him off]
Joseph: Is dead.
Eric: As I was saying, Derek researched this pendant, and maybe that is why the werewolves killed him, because they were afraid he would find it before him.
Manuel: So basically, you found the pendant by starting off where Derek left.
Eric: That’s a way of saying it. This pendant recently belonged to a high Russian priest; he took it to his grave…
Douglas: You killed him!?
Eric: No he died ages ago; his grave is a tourist area now, so it was easy to get in.
Manuel: I don’t get the feeling you went to the gift area to get that.
Eric: I stole it, if that’s what you wanted to hear. Now to the interesting part, a werewolf from Moscow killed Derek. I managed to get his name.
[Eric puts his hand in his jacket pocket and searches for something; finally he pulls out a small folded piece of paper and hands it to Joseph]
Eric: Joseph, can you get his address?
Joseph: we are going to kick his ass, aren’t we?
[Eric gives Joseph his trademark “You bet we are” stare]
Joseph: Valentin Orlov, all right, I’m on it then.
[Joseph walks towards the back of the office to his computer, where he sits down and begins typing the name]
Manuel: Please tell me this isn’t a vendetta Eric.
Eric: This isn’t a vendetta.
6. -----------------------------------------------------------------6
[A click is heard by the back door. The back door creaks open and Eric rapidly gets up from his seat and pulls out a small “pump action” shot gun, he turns around to face the back door and cocks the gun. From out of the door comes Daniel, who hasn’t noticed Eric’s sudden reaction. He is carrying take out bags from the local burger king two in each hand, he was obviously sent out for food]
Daniel: It’s chow… [He notices the shotgun being pointed at him] Whoa!
Eric: Who’s this guy?
[Manuel calmly gets out of his seat and walks to stand in between Eric and Daniel; he knows Eric will begin to get pretty aggressive by the time he answers]
Manuel: He is your replacement, but since your back, he is Derek’s replacement.
Daniel: Can somebody tell me what’s going on in here?
[Before anyone can answer, Joseph gets up from his seat}
Joseph: I got it!
[He runs towards Eric to hand him a sheet of paper with Valentin’s information printed on it. Eric puts the shot gun away and reads the information, seconds later he looks at Manuel]
Eric: Does he know how to shoot a gun?
Manuel: Yeah, we took him on some bear control…
Eric: Does he know how to hunt them?
[Daniels expression suddenly changes into a “what the hell expression”]
Daniel: What are you guys talking about?
Eric: I’m taking that as a no, well no time to give him any actual training. Bring him along.
Manuel: What…
Eric: You will give him all the info on our way there.
[He walks up towards one of the cabin’s walls, where there is a large metal closet, that’s slightly painted. He opens the closet and we can see 5 shotguns inside of it and 5 Denim jackets with a wolf head patch on the back, hung inside. He grabs one jacket and puts it on, finally he grabs one shotgun and cocks it, and he turns towards the other four]
Eric: It’s hunting time.
[Joseph and Douglas are the only ones to jump in excitement, Daniel has no idea what Eric is talking about, and Manuel seems to be disappointed by Eric’s sudden change of attitude]
7. -------------------------------------------------------------------7
[Ext. Log house cabin/ Forest-DAY
Eric, Douglas, Joseph, Manuel and lastly Daniel ere exiting the log cabin, each one of them is holding a shotgun, and wearing the denim jackets. Manuel is walking right beside Daniel, while the other 3 are in front of them. Eric stops and looks puzzled, as though something was missing]
Eric: Where is the car?
[Douglas suddenly giggles in excitement and he runs deeper into the woods]
Eric: what was that all about?
[Manuel walks up to Eric’s right]
Manuel: He has been waiting to do this
[Daniel all of a sudden runs towards Manuel]
Daniel: But the car is in the shop, we crashed it remember
[Eric turns his head to look at Manuel and gives him a “Tell me it isn’t true” stare by which Manuel replies with a small laugh. He then turns to face Daniel]
Eric: What you are about to see, you mustn’t go around telling people, understood?
[Daniel nods his head as to say yes]
Eric: Good, so firstly, we are not taking that car
[Instants later faint music can be heard from deep in the woods, we can hear tires screeching and a motor revving. The music becomes louder and louder as the vehicle gets closer to where Eric and the rest are. Leaping out from the woods appears the 95 Dodge Durango, except it’s modified with high intensity lights on the roof, a grill in the front bumper, its 3 inches higher than it was before and has larger wheels. It’s painted in a rusty gold color and has a small leaping wolf on top of the hood. The driver’s window opens and we can see Douglas inside of it, looking all hyped and excited to be showing off his piece of art]
Douglas: Now presenting the “brand new and ready to kick some wolf ass” Huntress.
Eric: huntress?
Manuel: He gave it that name, became very fond of it since you left.
Douglas: Eric, before you do anything I got three words for you. I’m-Driving-Bitch!
[Eric sighs and walks towards the Durango and goes around the front side towards the front passenger seat, the rest follow later and get inside the back passenger seats, once they close the door, we can hear the car’s engine rev and set off towards the highway, the sun is beginning to sit, indicating the beginning of the night]
[Int. Dodge Durango-NIGHT
Douglas is concentrated on the road, while Eric is giving him the directions; Joseph is starting to fall asleep in his seat, while Manuel is explaining to Daniel everything he knows about werewolves]
Manuel: Once we get to our destination, you do as I say and exactly as I say.
Daniel: What if I wanted to disobey
Manuel: Not if you wanted to live
[Daniel’s face makes a shocked expression in response to Manuel’s last comment]
Manuel: Forget whatever you have seen on Television or movies, what you have read in books, those things will not prepare you for what you are about to see. Are you familiar with the term “werewolf”?
[Daniel chuckles]
Manuel: This isn’t a joke, Daniel. Now answer my question.
Daniel: You make it sound like a…
Manuel: Answer the goddamn question!
Daniel: OK, OK. Yeah I’m familiar with it, but what does this have to do with hunting a large animal.
[Manuel turns to the front passenger seat to look at Eric; they both stare at each other for a few seconds, and then Manuel turns back towards Daniel and he continues to explain]
Manuel: I was just like you once
Joseph: Oh dear god. [Puts on his headphones, and begins listening music on his MP3 player]
Manuel: I once believed that the only danger to the human race was our race itself, but I was wrong. I used to be a stupid frat kid in college, booze and babes, the works.
[Annoyed Daniel scoffs]
Daniel: what are you getting at man?
[Manuel completely ignores Daniel’s comments, and carries on]
Manuel: One day I was so drunk I didn’t even have my god given common sense, so I went to this “special” party being held in my fraternity. What a surprise it was to see that, there were no chips and dip.
CUT TO:
8. -------------------------------------------------------------------8
[Int. of Alpha fraternity living room- NIGHT
There is a bunch of fraternity members scattered around the living room. Music is blasting from the stereo, there are beer bottles everywhere some are even smashed and on the ground. Most of the fraternity members are drunk. There is one of them who remains in his conscious state is sitting down on a black leather couch, his legs are resting on top of a small table, which has beers and slices of pizza over it. A young drunk Manuel comes walking in after a few seconds, he walks up to the guy sitting on the couch, whose name is Richard]
Manuel: What’s up my Hominess?!
[His words sound rather distorted when he speaks, since he has completely lost a bit of consciousness and stutters from time to time]
Richard: [With Irish accent] it seems you have been enjoying your stay here, am I not correct?
Manuel: Dude [He leans on the table so he doesn’t collapse on the floor] I just want to find some freaking food man, you know what I mean? I’m like starving.
[Richard gets up from the couch and walks towards Eric, he walks until he stands behind him]
Richard: Now that is strange, last thing I remember the food was in front of me.
Manuel: I’m in front of you man
[There is a large growl, and we can hear bones cracking. Manuel turns around to see Richard’s forehead has gone all bumpy and his eye have gone black as a dog. Richard’s shirt then begins to tear and eventually he rips it off to reveal that his chest is becoming wider and his whole torso is growing stronger but maintains it same size, his fingers grow thicker and his nails grow larger, His feet turn into large paws, about the same size as a size 14 shoe, finally black fur begins to grow and where once Richard once, there stands a black furred werewolf. Manuel jumps on the couch helplessly and he sees that the others who have also changed into werewolves have already killed some of the fraternity members. The door to the fraternity smashes open, attracting the attention of the werewolves]
Richard: Who the hell is it!
[A gunshot is heard and a werewolf falls dead on the floor, suddenly Eric and Derek walk into the living room, each wearing the denim jackets and carrying a shotgun. They begin to shot down the werewolves as they come at them. One by One they begin to fall. In the very end Richard is left standing, Derek Jumps in front of him, but Richard punches him away]
Richard: It’s rude to interrupt somebody else’s meal, you know.
[Eric jumps behind Richard but fails to surprise him since Richard kicks him out of the way. Richard turns and walks towards Eric, and lifts him up with one arm]
Richard: but its nice you provided and appetizer
[Derek stands up, cocks the shot gun, and points it towards Richard’s head]
Derek: Appetize on this, you ugly mother…
[Derek pulls the trigger and the gunshot is heard, the scene suddenly turns slow motion as Richard’s hand lets go of Eric, and Richard falls to the ground dead. We then go to Manuel who is still sitting in the couch and his face is spattered in Richard’s black blood]
Cut back to:
[Int. Dodge Durango-NIGHT
Manuel is done explaining the events that made him realize the existence of werewolves, to Daniel]
Manuel: That’s when I joined them, and now all of us have been hunting these creatures for a long time, until the day Derek died.
Daniel: So I am like, the replacement.
Manuel: No, you just happened to take the wrong job. The werewolf we are about to face is the one that killed Derek.
Daniel: It killed your leader? Well you might as well shoot yourselves now, than walk towards a painful death.
Manuel: We have taken that into account. He is stronger, faster and smarter than the other ones we have hunted, but if we ignore the situation any longer, then our whole purpose for hunting them will be in vain.
Daniel: Why is that?
Manuel: Eric has brought the final clue to the situation
Daniel: and what is that situation?
Manuel: A war, a war that we will surely lose, if they manage to gain the upper hand.
Eric: Game Over
9. ------------------------------------------------------------------
[Ext. of Apartment building-NIGHT
The Apartment building is four stories high and isn’t much of a sight. There’s graffiti all over the walls and dropped trash bags all over the floor, there is some steam coming out of a broken pipe somewhere underground. There are two stairs, one in each side of the building, these stairs lead to the various apartments in the building. The camera moves along one of the stairs as it goes up towards the 3rd floor, and goes into a large corridor. The corridor is covered by doors on both sides, the camera than moves around to face the stairs. In come Eric, Manuel, Joseph, Douglas, and Daniel with their shotguns in hand. They walk down the corridor and stop when they face a door with the number 3B which is in the back of the corridor. Eric faces the door, with his shot gun in one hand, Manuel moves to the right side of the door and readies himself to fire as soon as the door opens, Joseph stands behind Eric pointing the shotgun towards the door, Douglas is on the left side of the door, leaning against the wall, looking like a SWAT cop about to jump into the room.
Eric knocks on the door three times, each one after a slight pause. There is no answer behind the door, so Eric knocks on the door again. He then looses his patience and begins pounding furiously on the door. We hear a large metallic clunk coming from the fire stairs.]
Eric: He’s trying to escape, Douglas go to the van and move it to the back of the building…
Douglas: Gotcha, I will try and cut him off.
[He runs towards the stairs where they came from and is no longer in frame]
Eric: Manuel, can you Take care, of the new kid, he isn’t ready.
Daniel: But I can…
Eric: You’re not ready. Now let’s move!
10. -----------------------------------------------------------------10
[Ext. back of apartment building-NIGHT
Valentin is running scared down the stairs not even paying attention to where he steps, he eventually trips down the stairs only to violently stop 4 steps down, and he gets back up and suddenly hears tires screeching down the alley. He runs faster down the stairs but grows desperate and jumps. He lands on his feet and begins to run down the alley way, he is panting due to the fact that he is running with all the strength he has left.
He turns around to see Eric and the rest standing in the very end of the alley]
Valentin: You really don’t know what you are up against!
[Eric points his shotgun at Valentin and pulls the trigger; he purposely misses and shoots at a trash can that is located 4 inches next to Valentin. He jumps out of fright, turns around and runs towards the darkness.]
Eric: He is stalling, stay here.
Manuel: You said this wasn’t a vendetta.
Eric: This is my fight.
[Manuel sighs, as Eric slowly walks towards the darkness until he is no longer visible. We then see the “Dodge Durango” park behind them and Douglas comes out, Manuel turns around and gives him the “what the hell happened to you look”]
Douglas: What? I ran into traffic.
[We cut to Eric who comes out of the darkness behind him and is located at the very end of the alley, which is a dead end. Valentin is standing in the very end corner of the alley and slowly walks towards Eric]
Valentin: You must either be the bravest or the stupidest man I have ever known
Eric: I tend to be both of them at the same time
[Eric violently cocks his shotgun and points it Valentin, his eyes are filled with anger and he is ready to shoot him at any moment. Valentin begins sniffing the air as if he had recently picked up a smell]
Valentin: You stink of wrath little boy, I respect that of you. Anger is a very helpful tool in combat.
Eric: I’m starting to regret feeling sorry for your lame ass.
Valentin: Why such hostility, can’t we get along?
Eric: After what you did to my brother, getting along with you was the last thing in my mind.
Valentin: Oh, so that was you in the woods.
Eric: Glad you remember me.
[Valentin begins to slowly circle Eric]
Valentin: That’s not the only thing I remember, I remember beating up your big brother real good, but the bastard just wouldn’t die. Couldn’t find any enjoyment in killing him
[He then stops behind Eric]
Valentin: So now I’m going to repay that lost enjoyment with you.
[He kicks Eric in the back, and he goes flying across the air until he hits the brick wall, he falls, but he stands back up. His mouth is bleeding but he does not seem to mind.
Eric points the shotgun at Valentin, and pulls the trigger. He manages to hit Valentin knee but he doesn’t collapse, instead he rapidly runs and leaps on Eric. Eric gut punches Valentin to set himself free, but Valentin is tougher than he looks and doesn’t feel anything, he places his hand on Eric’s throat and begins to choke him, until Eric places the shot gun against Valentin’s stomach and pulls the trigger. Valentin lets go of Eric, who rapidly moves away from him and stands up.
Valentin begins to see steam coming out of the bullet whole, and notices he has been shot by a silver bullet; he lifts himself up aching in pain, and rips out his shirt. Valentin’s facial features begin to change into some more canine like features as he growls; his mouth turns into a wolf like snout. He grows larger, his hands start increasing in size as his nails turn into claws, his skin begins turning into a dark pale color his feet become large wolf paws, his spine arcs, and he starts to grow a very small amount of gray fur.
Were there once stood a human like Valentin there is now a large wolf Valentin, who moves its head to look at Eric, with his black eyes. We then have a few seconds of 1st person view as we see Eric through Valentine’s eyes; this image is in black and white, since werewolves are colorblind. Eric is slightly impressed by Valentin’s change.
Valentin swings at Eric with his arm, but barely manages to dodge as his cheek is scratched by Valentin’s large claws. Eric grunts in pain, cocks his shotgun and shoots at Valentin, who growls in pain.]
Valentin: You are better than the rumors say.
Eric: what rumors?

[Ext. back of apartment building-NIGHT
Douglas is sitting down on top of a wasted mattress; Joseph is sitting down on the ground with his hands on his chin as if he was listening to Eric’s fight. Daniel is walking from right to left continuously, and Manuel is still standing still facing the darkness where Eric is fighting, they all have worried faces on.
We can hear distant gunshots and trashcans falling that come from the end of the alley, some growls can also be heard.]
Joseph: Don’t worry Manuel, Eric is still alive
Manuel: I’m not, but I think we should go in there and finish it.
Douglas: Sure man, I mean, go ahead kill the werewolf assassin it isn’t that hard, oh wait I forgot. It killed Derek!
Manuel: You don’t think I’ve taken that into consideration.
Douglas: I’m just saying man.
[There is a slight silence. Manuel gets sick of waiting and cocks his shotgun and walks towards the darkness, Joseph stands up after him and walks towards the darkness too. Douglas is left confused and slowly stands up]
Douglas: WA…WA…wait! What are you think, you’re going to get killed with out me.
[Douglas runs off to the darkness leaving Daniel alone, but seconds later he comes back and drags Daniel by his shirt towards the darkness.
CUT TO:
End of the alley way where Eric is still fighting against Valentin. Valentin has various bullet wounds in his arms and legs but they are not fatal, He grabs Eric and tosses him against a wall, Eric looks pretty damaged after minutes of fighting and can no longer stand up with out leaning on something. Valentin is moving in on Eric to give him the killing blow, but as he raises his arm, a gunshot is heard in we can see a bullet pierce Valentin in his chest. He roars and growls in pain as the bullet burns through his insides. The camera moves to look behind Valentin and we can see Manuel holding his shotgun with smoke coming out of the barrel, behind him stand Douglas, Joseph and a scared Daniel. Valentin turns around to face them and makes a loud growl]
Daniel: What the hell is that?!
Manuel: Remain calm Daniel; it can smell your fear.
[Valentin sniffs the air]
Valentin: A new hunter, how nice, but he stinks of fear. Are you boy?
Manuel: Don’t listen to him Daniel, just shot him
[Daniel is shaking and sweating of fear, he can’t handle thinking about how he might die, and how hideous Valentin’s wolf form looks to him]
Manuel: Daniel shot him!
Daniel: I…can’t
[Valentin laughs out loud]
Valentin: You are all pathetic, with out your leader you are nothing.
[A gunshot is heard from behind Valentin and a bullet pierces his heart. Valentin slowly falls on the ground and changes back into his human form. He begins to breathe heavily as he dies. Eric stands up behind him and walks towards Valentin, he places the shot gun on top of his head, and Valentin’s eyes widen in fear]
Eric: I’m the leader now, requiescat in pace, you son of a bitch
[Eric pulls the trigger and we can hear the gunshot and see the blood spattering on the ground. Valentin’s head is now a pile of mush. Eric sighs and sits down to take a rest. Seconds later we can hear a cell phone ringing, Eric and the rest start looking around the area in order to find out where the ring is coming from, eventually Eric finds out that the ring is coming from Valentin’s pocket, and he puts his hand inside of it to find a cell phone. He opens the cell phone to see what’s on the caller ID only to find it displaying “Unknown caller”. Eric answers the call anyways]
Eric: Hello?
[From the cell phone comes Sigmund’s voice, who sounds very impressed]
Sigmund: I’m impressed, the way you took Valentin’s life in cold blood.
Eric: Who are you!
Sigmund: Relax my fellow hunter, you will find out in time, but I called to congratulate you on both bringing us the key and making this little war a tad bit interesting.
Eric: Listen wolf boy, I don’t care how happy you are, but there is one thing I care about, and that is, watching your corpse rot.
Sigmund: See, that’s what I like about you. I look forward to seeing more of your hunting skills.
[The call ends and Eric furiously tosses the cell phone against a wall. Manuel walks towards Eric to help him get up, but Eric gets up on his own, he walks slowly past Joseph and Douglas and stops in front of Daniel]
Eric: You are pathetic, Manuel, I want you to train him; there will be no rest until he is prepared to face them.
Manuel: What?!
Eric: You heard me! This has just begun
[Eric walks towards the darkness and disappears out of sight. The camera starts to move up slowly and stops at apartment buildings roof, where Sigmund appears in front of the camera, we can see that he was watching the fight from there since the very beginning. The camera zooms at his face and we can see him form a smile]
FADE OUT.

ENDING CREDITS
