Usually the episodes are compress, so u need a decompressor like Winzip: www.winzip.com to extract the avi/movie file and then play it with Windows Media Player or Real Player...
I hope this helps you out

If not that, then you're missing a video codec. I'd stay away from Windows Media Player though... *prefers VLC or BSplayer*
u have to dl divxplayer to play the epidodes...
Here take a link:
http://rapidshare.de/files/20916017/DivXPlay.exe.html
(Press "free" at the end of the page.... then w8 for 30secs to appear a download window! dl it... install it and the run again ur windows media player!!)
^Skip the codecs and use VLC instead... Then you don't hafta constantly get a new codec..

Yeah VLC is the bestest player around..but it also doesn't hurt to get all the codecs!

Depending on what version of Windows media player you are using, you will have to download the codecs for that version. If you don't know what version(ie: 8/9/10) you have go the the microsoft web site: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology= and download the newest version of media player (go with ten not the beta 11 version). If you download this newest version of 10 it should already have the codecs on it. If it still will not play go here:http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Windows_XP_Video_Decoder_Checkup_Utility.htm and click on the first download option. Or you could just go with DivX or real player as others have suggested.

Staying "default" is so old now, dyne. Why can't you see this?
To Greeneyes, Here's the links you should try:
VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html)
BSplayer (http://www.bsplayer.org/) (Go to Download and scroll down for the free version).

which are you referring to? VLC or WMP?

Is something that 'automatically updates' is better than something that 'automatically has the codecs'? This is simple logic; the answer is obviously the latter. VLC also uses less CPU based on my own experience back then why WMP failed on me.

Wow, since VLC, is that good, I will use it too.
ahh first off cut the attidude.
second..wtf are you talking about..wmp is the best player by a mile...it plays almost any file type and you can create playlists in it have library's take screenshots, burn music, go on the internet with it and much more...who cares if it uses more cpu its doesn't make it inferior and if you have windows automatic updates on it updates your playing automatically meaning no hassle with codecs..
stop bitching at me for no reason... I just stated which player i recommended and know your like trying to start an all out war with me...
sorry but I've said enough

You know what, we've argue with these everywhere, and here (http://forums.bleachexile.com/showthread.php?t=580) too for example.
Maybe you have high spec comp, but for those who have lower spec, higher CPU usage is a big disadvantage for them. And sometimes it cant play .mkv and .ogm, that's why, for those reason, it failed me in the past and made me switch to a better player.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I'm gonna stop now, because if we continue to argue about this, it's just keep going on and on and on, without stop. I believe Greeneyes' problem has also been solved.
I already ended this and wow i wasn't even talking to you...did i quote you no

YAY!! Someone else with the same problem. I don't have internet at home so would that be a problem for me when I try to play it on Windows Media Player and it doesn't work?
