Gasp! how can you not list Treize! O well I vote for Trowa cause I've just watched to first half of seed, haven't watched destiny, and out of all the wing characters, Trowa is just so... so... me.

well personally i like treize the most, and I don't like the idea of an 'other' button for him. As for trowa... well i dunno. I just like him the most, i dunno why. He just seems so... so... calm.
hero is the best gundam pilot....every since i first saw wing i thought he was so cool

Kira, no doubt.
Gundam wing was my first gundam series to ever see, so naturally it'd be between Heero, Duo, or trowa. Trowa has the awsome I think it was four or six chaingun attatchments on his gundam in the movie, and heero had freakin wings and when iI saw that it was like woa O:, But when I saw Dou's Death Sycthe "Movie style" There was no question about it, plus the way he handled the thing and the way he killed his enemy with his scythe was just badass. So dou wins. :3

Why doesn't anyone like trowa? he has like one of the best gundams(next to wing zero) and he's like one of the best pilots. He can probaly match heero on a 1v1 match.

What?????? Do you have something against trowa? If you watched the anime(which I'm sure you have) you would know that Trowa is uber skilled. He survived a fight with Wing Zero in a mobile suit thats NOT a gundam. Not only that but he probably got the highest kill count of all the pilots too. It may just be my opinion but Trowa is my favorite character(next to treize but he wasn't up there so I couldnt vote him.)

your entitled to your own opinions I admit he may be skilled but he can never be compared to Heero. Let me explain this Heero is the Kira of Gundam Wing. He is the ultimate soldier he was raised to pilot the gundam unlike trowa who just took the job one day becuz the scientists bribed him. Rewatch the last two eps and see the full strenght of heero and try to fathom if trowa could compare.

I loved Ralena but of course she wasn't a pilot but Duo and Wue Fei kinda tie for me as favorites. BUT I had to vote Duo because his upgraded Death Scythe was my absolute favorite Gundam and I love his "I'm the God of Death" speeches! XD

I like Kira and Shinn, but couldn't choose between my honeh's, so I chose Dearka! Love him too, he's gorgeous! XD and I like his VO Brad Swaile~

I vote Duo Maxwell. Currently he is my favorite, and I love his gundam.
Kira probably comes close second. And I haven't seen SEED far enough to meet Shinn but he seems like a character I'd end up liking (for reasons I wouldn't know).
Athrun Zala was the pilot that i liked most of all, he is just more skilled than others.

Kira Yatamo is my favorite gundam pilot, because I could relate to his situation and to his character. He seems so more realistic in comparsion to say Heero who just distant the entire series of Gundam Wing.

I voted for Shinn Asuka (and it seems that I'm the only one who voted for him) because he's quite skilled and he's pure instinct and fury (that's what I've seen so far about him)

--;; Um...I think that was just because he's a talker. He said a lot of stuff in GS...Raww I mean. It's difficult to choose a character. I admit that I like Shinn, although he's someone who would probably annoy me to no ends if he was a real guy, but I can't vote for Shinn because I've never seen GSD, only read the summaries and all that. If I haven't seen him fight, I can't say that I'd vote for him. I'm a big fighting person. (muses over the idea of joining Division 13, but dismisses the idea since I don't have the endurance) But his Gundam is nice. ^^ I love giant machines.
Hm...but this is about the pilots, right? I'd have to go with...Yzak. I related the most to him. He's someone that I really liked. I liked his personality. It was the most original out of the entire GS cast. I want to create a character like that! His psychological profile is so interesting. But I don't expect anyone here to analyze the characters. The more I watched GS, the more I liked him. I didn't like him at first. I was more of a Dearka, Kira and Athrun person. ^^ But Yzak really grew on me.
As for Wing... I also never watched Wing. I only read the summaries, etc, like with GSD. I liked the Gundams in Wing, but I haven't really seen anyone in action, so...yeah...I can't vote for anyone there. --;; I'll just find somewhere where I can DDL the Gundam series' that I don't have so that I can give an informed vote before participating in the poll above.
So for now, it's Yzak.

As for skill it's not fair to compare between series.
Treize would pwn Heero. Treize was beating Wu Fei in Altron with the Tallgeese II which was just a remake of Tallgeese a vastly inferior suit to Altron the best gundam for fighting. Treize only let Wu Fei win. Givin a Gundam with the Zero system Treize would utterly stomp Heero.
and char would kill them all lol.

Style? Char Aznable has style, Anavel Gato has style, Jamil Neate has style, Master Asia has style despite being overpowered and making no sense, Gundam W characters however, have no style with the sole exception of Wufei who also makes no sense. The reason is that W has failed in terms of style ever since standing and shooting has been declared a distingished personal way of combat (Trowa in Serpent...)
