The only time Shinji was using a gigai was when he was in the classroom with Ichigo. When he confronted Ichigo later on, he was no longer in it.

Here's another question. Are Nel's fraccion Pesche and Dondo Chakka arrancar or normal hollows? They look too weird to be arrancar, but it doesn't make sense for them not to be arrancar with how everything else has been presented.

They were likely arrancar since one of their bodies looked quite human-like in chapter 294, also fraccion as far as we know have been known to be arrancar.

if u think about it, every hollow can potentially change another soul to a hollow, but not all souls become shinigamis. Also Rukia, was a "decent" shinigami and she had problems with the very first hollow which should show that Shinigami and Hollows are equal in the lower levels.

The only way for shinigamis to get souls is to soul burial them, and not very many become shinigamis, but every hollow has the potential to "turn" souls into hollow which should mean they grow an exponential growth while shinigamis grow only in a linear fashion.

so why then are shinigamis still not overrun?

Maybe Shinji had a shinigami outfit and changed it to the clothes he wears now while he was still in his shinigami form, and it stays like that when he gets out his gigai. Sounds dumb but theres not much we can go by and TK might not think thats important enough to discuss. If he does show it will be in the anime after the credits.

They were arrancar, but had their mask completely removed and are now hollows. How that works? I have no idea, but they were officially shown as hollows when Ichigo met them and were arrancar when Nell was still an Espada.

Thats true, though it seems logical to me anyways. Why risk your best people for a small group that went against your orders if you didn't have some other reason to it? Yeah Ichigo is strong and stuff, and Rukia and Renji are as well (somewhat) but really, Yamamoto could probably kill Ulq without much difficulty, and he could seriously whoop up on Aizen if he had to.

Shinigamis have that black kimono on because that is what they normally have on when they are in spirit form. I'm assuming then that if they were to wear something different in spirit form (such as jeans and a t-shirt) and then jump into a gigai, that's what they would have on when they jump back out of it.

So, it could be that Shinji and the other Vizards simply have those particular outfits on in spirit form and dress their gigais in a similar fashion.

All just speculation, btw.

why does the writer not make them very good, i know the bottem 5 is amazing, but...

the stated when they first introduced them that they were stronger than almost all captains, aside from someone like Zaraki or Baykui (sry i cant spell), if they are stronger than all normal captains, how is every one getting defeated by captains and vice captains. They are to weak. it used to say that 10 developed ones, such as the espada, could destroy SS, but i really dont see that happening. Ex: a while back in the real world when the 8 armed person was substitute number 6 for Grimmjow, he was pretty easily beaten by the white haired midget captain(i know his name i just cant spell it, lol). I know if they were to good they would never get beaten, but still, just cause someone is Vice captain or higher doesnt mean they should win every fight.

The thing with Tousen's bankai is the only way to be immune to its effect is by touching the sword. Kenpachi being a total badass simply let Tousen stab him so he could grab the sword lol.

therefore, they were shinigami and probably wernt born with hollow powers (assuming ichigo's shinigami transformation during urahara's training is the only exception). in the end, they came from SS since they were shinigami at one point.

There are probably only a few because what they did is illegal and there were few that could even make the transformation without dying (assuming that they all had to fight their inner hollows like ichigo)

IMO means in my opinion.

All Arrancar have reiatsu tempering their skin. The stronger the Arrancar, the greater the reiatsu tempering their skin. Case in point = Ichigo easily cut through Yammy's arm (10th Espada), but Grimmjow (6th Espada) easily caught Ichigo's bankai with his bare hands the first time they fought.

Most Arrancar releases do seem to have an animal motif; although Luppi's was only the addition of 6 more limbs (just not enough to say he was an octopus guy in my book), and Zomari is more vegetable than animal...

I don't think it said anywhere what happens to zanpakutous.
I think (to my knowledge) that zanpakutous, the blade itself, does not break if the original owner dies.
For example, Tousen's female friend passed away, and her zanpakutou stayed intact. We saw that it was simply being buried along with the shinigami. Tousen simply took that one.
My theory is that the spiritual form of the zanpakutou (e.g. Zabimaru as an animal or Zangetsu as the old man) passes away if the owner dies.
However, I also theorize that if a zanpakutou has a new owner, the spiritual form lives once again.

I think their release is a fusion of their shinigaminess and past form, therefore becoming stronger. But i don't know. could be wrong :P

when an arrancar releases its called resureccion - as in their original hollow form is resurected. although cos they're human now, they'll still look human-ish. its like they just get armor that resembles their original hollow form.

leraning bankai makes you overall 5 - 10 times more powerful. doing bankai isn't what increases your power. so doing bankai doesn't make you stronger, you just increase your power to max willingly to do bankai. after you've learn'tit of course.

ichigo and renji got bankai in 2-3 days each. that doesn't mean they both got 5-10 times stronger. they already increases their strength that much already. they're vice captain/captain level. so the next steps were just to materilaze their zanpakuto spirits and fight them.

Nowhere does it say Bankai is necessary--though it's likely part of the Taishyu Test and would dilute the prestige of the rank greatly if the Captains referred anyone who wasn't at least close to achieving that state.

Fillers and movies are just FanFics with restrictions unless they're written by the original author(s). It'd be as if you made up a history for some character and saying it was canon, and your entire argument against it would be the fact you couldn't get it animated as a movie.

The X-Men movies barely follow any versions of the comics/universes. Half the characters are half-assed versions of what they are in the comic that don't even follow the history. And despite having multiple universes, there is one universe that's taken more as canon than the rest.

Hollows are evil in the sense that they live off instinct and instinct alone, to feed and survive. When hollows come together and form Menos and evolve into a Adjuchas they have a more developed mind, which can feel emotions and think on its own.

Aizen used it without the incantation to pawn Captain Komomura in the SS arc--it surrounds the target in a rectangular black box of energy, which is then pierced by multiple shards of the same material.

The different spirit worlds are similar to that of an hour glass.

On the bottom is Hell, where truly evil/negative spirits are sent.

Above Hell is Hueco Mundo. This area is home to the hollows which are comprised of negative sprit energy. Hollows are cannibalistic in that they will feed off other hollows in order to gain their spirit energy. They will also from time to time attack humans souls and feed off their positive spirit energy. When they consume a human soul's positive spirit energy, it's converted into their own natural negative spirit energy.

The Living World, aka Earth, is where spirits are created/reborn. here their spirit energy is in a constant flux between positive and negative energies. When a soul's living body dies, their spirit remains, and they become a hollow if their negative spirit energy is greater than their positive energy. Also if a hollow were to come and consume their positive energy, the negative influx would cause them to become hollows as well if there is enough negative spirit energy. However, if a Shinigami performs a soul burial on the soul, it is sent to Soul Society, and no longer is in a constant state of limbo.

Soul Society is where souls with positive energy are sent. Shinigami live here, and are at constant war with the hollows, and use their Zanpaktou to convert the negative energy in a hollow into positive energy.

And it's possible that heaven exists, aka where Soul Society's King lives, but we don't know that yet.

Also:
Shinigami use positive spirit energy.
Hollows use negative spirit energy.
Quincy use spirit particles, aka neutral spirit energy.
Arrancar and Vizard use both positive and negative spirit energy.

he calls it a blade but doesnt say sword

and didnt lie about them only using bows because even though Seele Shneider has a blade, its actually an arrow, which he uses to fire at Cirucci (sp?)

and as for the hospital, Ishidas father is a Quincy, a pretty powerful one at that so its not strange he would have Quincy weapons and items stored away

For instance, if Ichigo went up against Zomari, I think that there would have been a fairly good chance that Zomari would come out on top b/c Ichigo can do kido for squat and speed alone would not have worked against Zomari.
