LoL im really a noob at this but im whiling to learn as much as i can from you all but i really have no idea how to even make a banner lol the only thing i know how to do is edit my name on to it XD lol

Photoshop's great! That's what most of us use.
How much have you played around with it? Like...do you know how to use layers, filters, adjustments, etc?

Searching a few tutorials can help get the basics down.
I don't have any on hand, but I'm sure there's a bunch listed around the threads.

Make sure you download brushes.
They're quite important.

Ahh yeah, brushes are verrry important.

&&When you download them from anywhere, make sure they are compatable with your version of Photoshop. Newer versions don't really have a problem. ;]

I'd recommend checking out the sizes of banners used, a number of tutorials, and trying out Filter > Render > Clouds.

you can download Brushes , pictures , renders , BG . abosulutly anything you want .

Also there is a site for Fonts , i forgot the address and i have formated my Notebook so i can't give you the site addres but i guess if someone read my post he/she will be able to post the link for you =)


yeh photoshop is the best shit out there , and to make sigs you need sense of creativity and Photoshop comon knowlage and you need to practice .

If you download brushes , you can make wondeful sigs with using different layers and playing with the layer opacity , adjustments , filters and etc .

Reading tutorial may help , also the best way to learn things is by figuring it out by yourself , make a first attempt and listen to other's opinions and follow their advices . and you'll get better .

Register here so you can see full screen images of them. Also C4D images on planetrender are good for making backgrounds in signatures/banners.

Isn't that like...plagiarism? Well, assuming you didn't make that...probably the only way to get rid of the text is to get a hold of the maker and ask them to take off the text...though, you could do it if you had the .PSD. Or do something that I dunno about. o_O

A C4D is reffering to the program Cinema4D which can be used to create visual effects, many of these are being altered into brushes for Photoshop.
