Several years ago I started to read this one manga, one that's name has completely slipped my brain.
I believe it was a korean manga. It took place in a feudal setting, but was very much fantasy based.
It was about this wicked witch who seduced the emperor and become queen. She used him as her means to pretty much take over the world. There was a society of wizards who were schooled in the sky and they sent down wwhat they believed to be the chosen one among them-a boy-whos duty it was to destroy the evil witch.
He road around on a giant hippo looking thing and had curly toed shoes. A lot of the art and clothing reminded me of Magic knights rayearth.
But that's all I got without saying any spoilers.
