Here you can ask whatever random questions you may have about the MANGA, that you are likely just too damn lazy to go and figure out for yourself.

Any questions that are somewhat worth while I will add a link to in the first post so others won't have to waste time asking it again.

There has been no reason for Gaara to use jutsu. He was revived by Chiyo and hasn't had any screentime since. Although, I still believe he uses sand attacks but they're not as powerful.

That is not quite correct. It was shown in chapter 281, when Team Kakashi is about to move back to Konoha, that Gaara used his sand, to gently lift up Narutos hand as a proof of true friendship (personal interpretation), to handshake him.
So it was proven that Gaara still has the ability to control sand. But it is unclear in what dimensions though. Having his Bijuu stolen should cost him a lot of his chakrapot, so it is at least possible that he wouldn't be able to control such a great amount of sand as he did to protect his village from Deidara C3.

Last page in chapter 313 Kakuzu said it was their assignement to go to the fire country next. They arrove at the fire temple and captured Chiriku (since he had a bounty on his head) which was obviously a friend of Asuma, shown on page 17, chapter 318. Chapter 319 shows that a Konoha team was sent out to investigate what happened at the temple and that team was also assigned to find and capture the Akatsuki.

I've decided to read Naruto from the start but have to do it online at work. Does anyone know a decent online manga reader that actually has high quality scans other than BE?

The BE reader doesn't work on my work PC and all the other sites seem to have really low quality scans of the first chapters. Example of the shit quality I'm trying to put up with for now here (http://www.mangafox.com/page/manga/read/8/naruto/chapter.15595/page.2/).

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think the early Naruto scans are like that everywhere. At least, everywhere I've checked they are. They do get better as you go along, I think you'd just have to rough it for the early chapters unless you find some place that doesn't have scans that bad.

The shadow clone technique is a technique the Shodaime made, if I remember right. When somebody is promoted to Jounin, then they learn the technique. So really, anybody who's Jounin or higher can use it. Naruto just stole the scroll and learned it that way.

I don't know if Shodaime created the technique or not, but I know not every Jounin knows it (or at least they haven't been shown using it). The scroll was sealed by the First Hokage and contained forbidden techniques. But Kage Bunshin isn't a forbidden technique, Taijuu Kage Bunshin is. That is what Naruto learned on the scroll. Creating many shadow clones can easily kill a person if they create too many as it will exhaust all their chakra.

this is a good point, and the only explanation i can come up with is, that while the bodies them selves may be dead, they are being used as extensions of nagato's senses. so it would be like him possessing them all simultaneously. he controls them, and is susceptible to what they experience. so the genjutsu isnt affecting the bodies so much as its affecting the consciousness in control of them

I believe she is dead, but it may be more along the lines of what happened to Gaara's mom. When the Ichibi was sealed into Gaara, it killed his mother. The sealing method of the Kyuubi had to be done with a newborn, much like Gaara. I assumed the sealing process killed Kushina as well. Though we really have no idea.

When is it stated? The only thing that shows anything about Itachi possibly being in the academy is when his father says he's surprised he can do clones, which sounds like he meant shadow clones to me, which is a Jounin level jutsu, so rightfully so, he should've been complimented on it. "Homework" can apply to any kind of mission Itachi has to get used to. Just seems like bad choices of words to me.

Sasuke is already starting his training then anyways, and seems to be in the academy himself since he does away for shuriken training. Still seems to put them at the right ages, I think you're just being picky with the wording.

Because he's ANBU, which makes him the closest thing to a real ninja in the manga. It doesn't matter what age you are, that's what ANBU does, and he was a Captain. The reason they chose Itachi was because he could be their inside source, being an Uchiha.

While i've considered that possibility, what kind of ninja gets "homework"? We've never seen that i believe, apart from the academy. And it says academy homework, now this might all be part of the fansubbing shit but still, and it says bunshin no jutsu, i can't believe they missed an important aspect like that. There's a huge difference from bunshin and kage bunshin, and i believe a bunshin can talk, but he can't be touched since it's just an illusion or smth.

Well, it's probably only misstranslations. And about the ANBU-killing part, why would they put such a responsibility on a 13-14 year old boy? It does not make sense, this boy could easily betray the village for his familys sake or the clans whatever, or he could be unable to kill the whole clan due to lack of abilities.

I get that it had to be done undercover, but it wasn't really a safe project to let that amount of resposibility rest on one persons shoulders, let alone a little boys shoulders. Would've been better if Itachi was 17-18 when it happened and Sasuke like 10-11 and was like 1 year before the story, well that wouldn't fuck anything up, seeing Sasuke didn't get much stronger in those 5 years untill they got under Kakashi's wing.
To ensure the safety of killing the whole Uchiha clan without fail, i believe Danzo could send some of his subordinates including Itachi in order to prevent a coup d'etat. Well i'm only letting my thoughts out on the keyboard, i have no further questions or anything to say, so let's leave it be.

He was even a minor antagonist at some point, for now he is kinda like a more supporting character, though with him developed so far and the established connection with Naruto. I'm hoping for a great progression in the future, his character really deserves it. So much Naruto-like.

According to Zetsu, he is. He certainly appears to be quite a bit stronger, actually winning fights with relative comfort, whereas Sasuke nearly dies in every one. But it's kinda hard to directly compare them at the moment, both are still growing at pretty fast rates.

That is still kind of a mystery. Kakashi has said himself that everyone around him that was close to him is already dead.
