The one and only fan club dedicated to our favorite female shinigami, Rukia! is based on Rukia and was released in theaters in Japan on December 13th, 2008. The DVD release date is set for September 30th, 2009.

Info On Rukia Kuchiki:
Name: Kuchiki Rukia - is from a tv show that kubo was watching which mentioned the name of a flower in latin, but kubo heard it as "Kuchiki Rukia" and thought that it fit for his character, so she always had a full name, and later it was revealed that "rukia" means "light" and "kuchiki" mean "rotten wood". However, Kubo has said that Rukia is "like a ray of light for Ichigo, which makes the name really suit her".
Birthday: January 14th. The year remains unknown.
Height: 144cm (4"8.5')
Weight: 33kg (73.6 lbs)
Zanpakutou: Rukia uses Sode No Shirayuki (Sleeve of White Snow), it is said to be the most beautiful snow and ice type zanpakutou in all of the soul society. More important than it's beauty is it's versatility, as it stands now, Sode No Shirayuki has 3 dances.
Release Phrase: Mae (Dance)
1st Dance: Tsuki Shiro (White Moon) This is the first dance and the initial release, in which Sode No Shirayuki produces a large circle that freezes everything within it's circle, whether it's on the ground or in the air.
2nd Dance: Hakuren (White Ripple) In Sode No Shirayuki's second dance, Rukia forms several small pillars of ice/snow that converge at Sode No Shirayuki's tip, and is sent after Rukia's opponent in a large splash of white snow and ice.
3rd Dance: Shirafune (White Blade) This third attack has only truly been seen once, and that is in Rukia's fight against AA, in which she reforms the broken Sode No Shirayuki, and anything that stands within that reformed path is pierced with ice.
Squad: Unseated Member of the 13th. Rukia remains an unseated member of the 13th Division, due to her adopted brother, Byakuya Kuchiki preventing her from claiming a seat, because being a seated officer would expose Rukia to more danger.
Personality: Rukia has one of, if not the most interesting personalities in all of Bleach. She generally gets along better with males than females, it often appears as though Rukia has a hard time making friends. But once someone is considered one of Rukia's friends, she will do anything to protect them. She also has a rather noticeable love for all things Chappy the Rabbit. Due to her being short, it's rather hard for her to find clothes that fit her properly. Also Rukia loves high places, in order to get to these places she often climbs.

Why I like Rukia?
Hmmm....I like her zanpaku-to. She is pretty funny, and I love the relationship she has with Ichigo. I like her eyes too! They're really big when she's a little kid!

well.. i think her character design is very unique which is kinda different from all the normal heroine we always see. To be frank, she was not my favorite in the beginning BUT as i saw more n more of rukia, the love began ^^

Actually, from the first episode of Bleach, I was obsessed with her. I saw her as unique, brave, wise, intelligent, mysterious, pure-hearted, and self-sacrificing, and I only became a bigger fan of her as the series went on. Currently, Rukia is still my #1 favorite character out of Bleach, followed by Hitsu, then Ichi, then Senna, then Ashido, then Kaien. I seriously doubt I'll ever have a different #1 character than her.

After surfing around, i found this very meaningful vid where i want to share with those who have not seen this before. well.. in this vid, we can really see a different side of rukia -> her sensitive side. u all know that rukia cares alot abt her friends so sometimes she makes some decisions which others might critised as "stupid" BUT if u all notice, all her decisions are always based on helping/saving others or to prevent them from getting hurt. That's true, Uion. Everything she's done has been done with keeping her friends alive in mind. The only thing that's sort of similar to that is in HM, when they split up. On the one hand, it makes it much more dangerous, but on the other it allows them to search for Orihime that much faster, and for all she knows they may be on a clock.

Anyway back to Rukia's bankai, I think it will be angel them'ed like she will have angel wings in the back and she'll be dressed in the shinigumi outfit still but with a white cape. I think her sword will change to a ice arrow type which is something we havent seen before.

So meaning when she shoots a arrow it will be like hakurens and even if they miss the ice will take over the whole area.

I know how to make gifs but don't know how to reduce their size so that they won't take unbeliavable amounts of space (in excess of over 3mb, a good, big gif takes nearly 10.. No place seems to host anything bigger than 1.5mb..).. And yes, I've tried with imageready..
