It occurred to me today that literature includes poetry so I opted to post some of my stuff. Feel free to comment in the fanfic discussion thread for moi. I haven't written much poetry lately so most of this stuff is kinda old and back in my scary dark days. But! These are happier times I'm living.

A Jazzy Goodbye

I wish I could tell the world
Just a few simple truths
About love and lies
and alibis and you
And I

So when you hear these
righteous words of mine
Oh my fickle lover dear
Don't bother acting
surprised, 'cause you'll
Find that I'm outta here

You're liable to know
These things often show
themselves at the most
Unfortunate of times so
It's best that you go

The damage is done
And there's, no way to
turn back the clock
Because you'll be turning
it back forever ever ever
The days hand never to stop
As long as we knew each other

I wish you'd never have
Bumped into me
and so casually
Kept walking into
My mind, my heart,
My life, my self,
my thoughts-

So here's the eviction
notice effective right
this very instant
I don't ever want to see you around
to waste another of my precious moments.
