Short Summary

By a bizzare coincidence, Aono Tsukune has accidentally gotten himself admitted to a youkai acadamy, a school attended by monsters. Just when he thinks he`ll run away from there, he meets the beautiful girl Moka and his mood turns ultra happy. However, she transforms into her true form when the rosary on her chest is taken off, she`s a super vampire!

Another anime not to be missed! great story, awesome animation! therefore in my opinion, this is one of the "must" watched anime this year :nod:

From the picture above, the one on the far right looks the best if u asked me! if i am not wrong, she is Mizore Shirayuki and will only appear after ep 3. But Moka and Kurumu were totally hot as well if u already watched ep 1 and 2.

Moka's my favorite her personality is really sincere, and she has a sealed personality that is a bad ass. I will probably like Kurumu as the series goes on but I tend to not really like characters with a for lack of a better word slutty personality, due to the lack of sincerity.

I like the teacher! I started watching R+V right after finishing Ah, My Goddess (fun holiday project) and hearing "Belldandy" talk about killing humans amused me to no end.

As to what brought me to the show...umm...well, dyne put it up, I read the summary and decided to go with it. Simple as that:smile:

Well I try and watch the first couple of episodes of every new anime each season, unless I know by its genre and description that I won't like it. The ones I won't watch are pretty much the extremely dark ones involving torture, rape, extreme abuse of a female, and also the ones that are made as kid’s shows.

The only exception is if the story is really well done, but I just can't stand anything that involves abusing women, it just fills me with rage and puts me in a bad mood.

I don't know if there is going to be a season 2, but everything I have seen says it is only 13 episodes. What they might do is go by how the manga was done. There was a Season 1, and now there is a season 2 going on right now with the manga. Granted, they might miss a lot from the Manga, beacuse there are 10 volumes from the Season 1 set.

Rosario + Vampire goes up to 10 Volumes and is completed, though scanlations are still ongoing and the translated version is only up to volume 7 chpater 25 so far. After volume 10, Rosario + Vampire Second Season starts, and it takes off where volume 10 ended. Currently the Second Season has 2 chapters one of which has been translated.

How many episodes are slated for this particular season? Is it a depressingly short 12 episodes or is it a full 25ish episoder?

Well my favorite character in the anime is Moka :love: :love:. Shes totally sweet and cute. Like Orihime.

My least fav is nastty succubus chick :mad:. Shes weird and has weird goals.

Yes seems to be a weakness for vampires since they are the most strongest meaning they get the most weakness also by touching water you get para and can't move seems the effects don't work on Tsukune god mode though...(volume 9 battle which he fights in the last mode by linking his rosary)

You misunderstood my question, Ray...I was remarking on the fact that they're skipping the first mention of that particular spoilerific fact, and I was asking what people thought the animators would do about it: run it in a later episode, leave it out completely, or try to jam it in there in episode 3.

Yeah, that's her. I think she's hilarious. She seems so clueless sometimes, but I get the feeling (strengthened slightly by the manga) that she's really on top of things. I wouldn't be surprised if she knows Takuma is human.

So far Tsukune doesn't seem to have it too bad at this school. Yeah he does get the crap beaten out of him on an almost regular bases but he has the two hottest girls at the school attached to him at the hip. He has also has quite possible the strongest "monster" in the whole place on his side. I don't see that being too bad. His only real problem is the nose bleeds but that is nothing a good tampon or kleenex can't fix.

I think that's possible but he would be a very tough opponent seeing as there are no stronger monsters than a vampire

I'm on volume 5 chapter 18 of the Manga and there has yet to be another vampire revealed only Moka and Tsukene's temporary hybrid form. So I don't think a male vampire will try and win over Moka there are so many different monsters that keep trying to do the same thing.

Edit: Also Rosario + Vampire seems to take an Ah! My Goddess! type of romantic approach where no matter how many guys try to get Belldandy to leave Keiichi she is completley loyal to him, just like Moka is with Tsukene. No other guy no matter how powerful or handsome will change that because Moka is not the type to treat love lightly and she has said on nurmerous occasions that she loves Tsukene.

yup! thats what i think too! the manga seems to be focusing more on tsukune and moka-san. besides we still have mizore, kurumo and yuchari as the side cast. i heard from ray that in season 2, moka's sister is joining the sch so the possibility of another male cast is low imo.
