So which of the episodes don't follow the manga? Was the whole Bounto-business just a filler? couldn't find this with 'search'...

Search ftw? But to answer your question, yes the whole bounto arc was a fail filler. Other fillers have various placement. While fillers might not have its own thread of discussion, they are almost talked about in every other thread if you need more info. Also google is your friend.
