My question is how would I take a video clip and turn it into a .gif file? Furthermore, is there any simple way to take clips out of videos?

use virtual dub...then use photoshop...its pretty simple...

Most of the photoshops on ares have virus's. I tried d/l it from there and as soon as I went to unzip my anti-virus deleted it.

I found a progam that seems to work pretty well: "Blaze MediaConvert" but it's only a trial version.
