Team Battles

In the match up area of the message board and in the rumor mill threads that pop up here and there, I notice that many people think some of the future WW match ups will be team battles with multiple captains versus multiple espada and so on. This makes no sense to me because I haven't seen one bankai that would actually benefit from having another team mate near.

If I were an ally, I'd definitely not want to be anywhere near Byakuya, Hitsuguya, Tousen, Konamura, or Renji when they went Bankai. Ikkaku and Ichigo seem to have the only bankai's that would even be capable of fighting a high level opponent with another ally at all, but even with them it still wouldn't be very beneficial to have an ally in the area.

Anyone else notice this.....or disagree with me?

Team battles for the current fight would be nice. But I would like the Espada fights to be 1 on 1's It seems like they will use a few chapters for the fights and a team battle would shorten it.

When fighting team battles the teams members don't have to near each other. For example, Byakuya could use his petals to distract someone. Instead of trying to do the maximum damage, he could focus on making his enemy move to a position where his teammate could hit. Same thing with Komamura, Giant hits floor, Enemy jumps in air and Byakuya hits them when they are still in the air.

KT can do whatever he wants. He never stops amazing me with his awesome ideas. I mean a Fast Pumpkin espada? That takes guts and creativity to think of. LOL

You make my point exactly. He would have to limit himself and not do maximum damage for this to work at all.

Although, I guess this could work even though I could never see Byakuya playing the role of a distraction or an assistant unless of course it's in a filler.

would be logical as there are more shinigami than espada, and i don't think he'll make a captain fight a fraccion as that would be just saying of a captain:'this captain is weak'. plus the vizards are coming so i can't be any different than team ups
