Nice Bloc Party!! One of my favorite bands. Talons isn't that great imo.
This Modern Love, Sunday, Flux, Skeleton, Rhododendron, Little Thoughts are some of my favorites.
Arcade Fire as well... My friend was obsessed with them at one point.

Arcade Fire is phenomenal stuff. It's disappointing that every fucking year, the Juno awards goes to Nickelback's music, even though they admitted even last year that they just take the same shit and make minor edits to it.

Tokyo Police Club played at my College this year, I think in the second week of September. I didn't go but I heard they gave a pretty good live performance. I find their music leaves something to be desired, though.

I don't view Bloc Party as some indie band, although I like their music. Decemberists, Modest Mouse, Cat Power and Arcade Fire are very good.

@Mentalist - heard tokyo police club live at lollapallooza a few years back and wasn't impressed. but revisiting the above song and then listening to their first album through for the first time, gotta say they are solid. must have been a bad set by a young band. thanks for reintroducing me.
