I'm sorry to say, but the triple slash looks very bad, as (at least it looks like it) it is only on swing that has been repeated three times, making it stiff and makes it look like it's glitching.

The falling slash looks ok. It could have done with a slight curve in the rope to make it less stiff, but it isn't needed.

Good work. I think only first frame need fix. If Hichigo get Bankai he will be really strong.

I'm bored and lazy, but I try do his sprites fast. I have to erase glove and make hand. Fix stance. Fix something in air attacks. Do crouch frames and hirenkyaku.

Wow. ok. I just watched the new vid. I haven't really been keeping up with this a lot, so I was surprised:

1)All the moves, especially the shunpo look visually amazing. I don't even know if the original ds game made it look that good. But all the moves and actions look very professional and very amazing.
2)The text was cute and all. I was a bit neutral on it, but overall I think it takes away from the game. If it is going to be used, it has to disappear pretty quickly. I think in one scene there were like 2 or 3 'come' in a row across the screen.
3)Overall, good job. I was seriously impressed with this video. I can't wait to play the game when I get back home for Halloween.(I have a pc there :D) This is so exciting!

Oh and I'm currently working on Bankai Ichigo mod....this char should be revolution and also example of that, how should all the chars look in the future.

Ok, first off, I'd like to address a few things:

Vampirel (to the best of my knowledge) has a life. He does not spend every hour of the day on this game, nor does he work for you, nor does he update for his own satisfaction. He has repeatedly stated that he does the modding for you.

-a)Thus: Constantly complaining and pestering him for an update is UNACCEPTABLE.

-b)Thus:Don't spam this thread. It is for comments geared at the game and gameplay.

--i)'When are you going to update' or ' Please,paste new BLF2,how in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUn0XYrOlmw' both fit into this category. 'I agree' also fits into this category.

-c)I can understand if it is your first time posting here, and you haven't yet read the previous posts, but if I or anyone else warns you (be it through this thread or a pm), you better not do it again.

And finally (d) Use common sense.
I will now explain the 'do's' and 'don'ts' of this with the following quote.

1)Gameplay and Cannon rarely match up in a professional/official game, so why does this matter. Speed has already been addressed pertaining to this character and suggestions have been made. This quote is similar to saying the statement 'I agree' (In the sense that it reiterates a previously stated comment and/or suggestion), which if you check the rules I just laid down, is FAIL.

2) This comment has been posted several times already. Repetitive is fail

3)Grammatically, you should remove 'way' from the sentence to improve readability. You can also take out the word 'faster', replace 'at' with 'in', and the 'I' in Ichigo should be capitalized. The correct version of this sentence would be:"In any case, Ichigo should be faster because he can dodge most attacks in the series."

When I saw transformation sequence I had the actual episode in front of my eyes :D Impressively made. But I'm not sure... it's probably too long. And I know now what you meant when you told me that BIchigo will have ultimate sprites. He has. Combined my sprites and those from DS 4th looks in my opinion really good. Of course everyone knows which ones are better :D But now seriously. You MUST increase the damage Ichigo is dealing to enemies. Of course Getsuga Tenshou and quick combo attack is obviously indispensable ingredient of any game in which BIchigo appears so reminding about it is completely stupid (right V? :D) So my overall note for that demo pre-beta alpha version of BIchogo is obviously 10/10 (Not because of that he has my sprites. Of course no! :D) and I hope you will make him epic. And when we are talking about epicness... It's really rare and mega hyper epic to see that the guy who without defeat won over for example Byakuya or Kenpachi gets beaten by three lame hollows after he used his bankai state. That was the best part of the whole vid :D Cheers :D

And now i'll piss you off again. I noticed that in previous versions of BLF2, Byakuya said BANKAI, now he's in silence, only throws his sword in floor and looks like the one who can't say a word. So please add him a sound at DvJ, when he does bankai, add like: Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.[cause in this blf2 new version timing of releasing bankai is really enough for this sound]

My, my...a lil alive here, aren't we? I was away for a little while, but now I'm back and expect of myself some work on this project. Just stay active guys, this kinda cheers me up also^^ .... .

OK, time to answer and explain a few things. As you can see, the Ichigo's bankai progress has been cut for a some time, so I'll complete Ichigo's bankai first...
Secondary about all the sounds...yeah, I know its a little messed up now...but don't worry^^ That's all gonna change for the next release (ugh, oh....takes long, doesn't it..)
I'll fix and replace the sound effects...I was just lacking sound database and was too lazy to rip them myself...so, here I'll just rip them, such as anime sonido sound, real taunts for zanpakuto moves, etc....
As long as you guys report the bugs, the game will evolve better, so just stay active, tell your friends about it and remember, you, who comment the game here on these forums, plays a big part on this project as well.
Oh, and one more little thing; As you might probably already know...Linatan is part of the team for some time...so he'll be answering a few questions here instead if me..and especially the ridiculously simple ones --> FAQ before asking anything.

There's nothing cruel in it. Everything takes time and making such game is really time-consuming. I know something about it because I made mod to LF2 once and it wasn't just like boom and done. Just a little bit more patience. BLF2 is worth to be waiting for. If you think same then just wait. V is just a human after all.

When I once tried running in the low-res mode, all Hitsugaya ice attacks (shikai, bankia, etc.) slowed the game horribly. Yet in other direction it worked perfectly. Do you know anything about thios?

Hmm. I wasn't talking about genereal slowing problems. The game runs perfect even on the high-res versin, and my pc is quite good. The problem only appears on low-res version, when using Hitsugaya ice attacks, and only when you use them to the left. Game slows to like 1 frame per second, till the move ends. I'm just asking if anyone there have the same thing, becasue this is no problem for me since I'm playing on high-res version.

Really great update. But, there si very big problem!!
The left side Hitsugaya lag bug I was writing abut is happening here also!!
In piervous version it was only in the low-res mode. But there is only one mode, and the bug is there.
Please search for the reason.

Can you say what was the difference between versions of piervous relase? (between the two .exe files)

Something is totally wrong.
The Ogichi final attack. AFAIK there should appear a picture of ogichi, and the attack shiuld deal almost fatal damage. This all only happens when using this attack to the right.
When attacking left, there is no picture, and attack deals second to none damage.

Edit3:
I continue playtesting. Another bug - Zangeki launched to the left casues also a small amount of lag/slowdown, while launched to right doesn't.
The same applies to Grimjow "Reiatsu Slash" and "Gran Rey Cero".
Bankai Byakuya "Blossom Cloud" and "Goukei: Senbonzakura Kageyoshi" also, despite the fact they are launched with UP key, lag when launched facing left.

Overall. Looks like there is some problem with launching attacks using sprites to the left. The amount of lag depends on the amount of sprites (that's why Daigureen Hyonimaru lags the most). This CAN'T be related to pc effinency, because same attacks launche right work normal.

I hope this all helps you fixing this problem.

Hi guys i like Bleach very mutch and i appreciate your work.I want to inform you for some bugs i found.
I dont know but maybe this bug was already mentioned.While i was playing versus mode with Ichigo(me) agains random,we were fighting and i run out so my mana could fill then Ichigo bug him self and was just staying in place.(sprite like starting shumpo or something like that)
And something about one battleground from bleach,path in SoulSociety you can walk on wall i mean the values do not match on pictures and in the code.I believe you already know about this.

Finally got around to dowloading this. For some reason my Windows7 netbook seems to think that the program isn't responding whenever it is in the middle of loading 'grimmjow.dat' but if I just ignore that for a bit it does eventually load the menu.

I don't get it, is zangeki officially a bleach move? cause (this is not meant to be insulting) I thought ichigo only had getsuga. zangeki just means slash in japanese and getsuga tenshou is a release of large amounts of reiatsu which destroy things in its path and can be used in many ways. and btw for the sprite link, only the main characters and bosses have many sprites, the others are just supporting characters. these are the main characters and the bosses: ichigo, byakuya, young byakuya, renji, rukia, ishida, yoruichi, toshiro, starrk and lilynette

And one suggestion again about Byakuya's Goukei Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. If you can, sprite that one like gaara's sand coffin. Make goukei not like tornado but like big ball, which gets enemy inside it, and it spins and cuts enemy about more then half of his life, and then that goukei ball explodes like ichigo's reatsu blast, but with pink color. Can you do that? And be good, add normal sounds to benihime ( Nake, Benihime), and others on bankais or shikais, like Rukias. Thanks for now. :)

Actually, I have plans for brain new storyline for my game. If the limit of game allow me to do that, then it will be definitely most epic stage mod ever created. Planed stage mod from start to end will be released once I fully make all the details, your suggestions as forum members will be appreciated then.
About the goukei, yeah sure...I'm planing to do that, you'll see some day. Btw (wtf? be good? o.O) I already said I have all the sounds planned, I'll be getting to urahara soon.

Indeed, I never thought about that :O
But whatever, I made that basically because of hakuteiken/zangeki clash so I won't change that... I just extended range of the run and make him invulnerable while running. Its imortant to has him vulnerable while charging the attack, cuz you can fool pc jumping around and this skill is more duel-like. Like when you play with your friend and just decide: Man, we both have almost none hp, lets finish this in one blow! And there you have it, Zangeki explained.

I have decided: I'll make website myself almost before finishing the game. It has one main reason: Because I'd have to make the game more known. Basically that would lead to many new people and many many new idiotic questions and I don't want that yet, seriously. Not before fixing all the chars and completing at least half of the new planed stage. If you wanna be helpful, then simply make suggestions, find bugs and glitches, make me banner or something, also video gameplay would be useful to gain little more of the fans and don't forget that you can always suggest your own attack. I think the Sprites from bleach 3rd phantom and flame bringer are quite good for making the toshiro separate bankai and I think you should include and attack which bursts ice around him, an ice clone(a substitution move), Tenso jurin(subjugation and control of weather, also a shikai attack), Guncho Tsurara (shooting lots of ice shards), Hyoten Hyakkaso (frozen sky-hundred flowers funeral) which is his strongest attack (hasn't come out yet in the anime).
And these are all real moves.

And one more addition.In lf2 there is lous and at 25% of his hp he can transform to lous EX,why dont put that in BLF2 too,eg at 30% of his life Ichigo transform to HIchigo or in anime Hichigo takes charge over the body xD.

I found a solution to fix the facing left bug from the lf2 readme file Vampirel pls read below

Fix a critical bug in Geforce 9800 graphics card - Showing wrong sprite
pictures when character facing left.

If you are typical players, this fix has no impact on you.

But if you are LF2 data modifiers, you may be interested to the following
details:

Cause of the bug:
The "left-right" mirror function of DirectDrew is no longer supported by
some new graphics cards (Such as Geforce 9800).

How did I fix it?
I pre-rendered the mirrored pictures and put them along with the original
pictures.
For example, for Davis, it's animation consisted of
davis_0.bmp, davis_1.bmp, davis_2.bmp
In LF2 v2.0a, there are
davis_0_mirror.bmp, davis_1_mirror.bmp, davis_2_mirror.bmp, they are
the "mirrored" version of the 3 bmp above

Impact to modifiers:
It is recommended that you should create those *_mirror.bmp with your
character files.
In case the mirrored pictures are not provided, LF2 will try to do the
mirroring programmatically. It means even you don't provide *_mirror.bmp,
LF2 may still work. However, if you are using Geforce 9800, the "wrong
sprite picture" bug will happen when those mirror pictures are missing.

They did not, its due to DS's large sprites, they cause it'll reach the limt faster. Since I don't know when its gonna stop, I can't afford to add any non storyline characters so I wouldn't reach the limit too soon. The planned story is gonna be released soon though, so you can judge by yourself then.

I already said this but whatever... Reason 1: I want to have the game more realistic like if you run out of mana you're like you ran out of reiatsu, but I know the cost of the moves is incredibly expensive and then so its quite lame. Well, I plan to make all the moves to cost half mp as they are now... and also the damage they cause as well. This would make the whole fight longer and players would enjoy the fights, but about this later, there's still time for this.
Reason 2: Pressing DJA moves goes in order like this: Defend, Jump, Attack, since I decided to give all the chars Shumpo/Sonido (or whatever) the keys for it are DJ and the order is the same: Defend, Jump. So, if you'd press Defend, Jump, Attack, the character would do Shumpo sooner than the reiatsu recharge so its quite impossible to add it to these keys. Also adding it to the keys DA would be impossible as well, since I will add quickmove to all playable chars. If you don't know what i mean, check Hitsugaya he should have one already.

Yeah, byakyua's gonna be upgraded even more, though i dunno about separate senkei due to the limit.

Btw, you're wrong... seems like you actually havent really played any well done staged LF2... you can try one called RN-LF2. Every experienced LF2 modder will tell you that great LF2 mod needs storyline first. And I already mentioned that I am planning to do character addon after finishing the game, but I can't tell for sure due to limit.

I found a solution to fix the facing left bug from the lf2 readme file Vampirel pls read below

pictures when character facing left.

If you are typical players, this fix has no impact on you.

But if you are LF2 data modifiers, you may be interested to the following
details:

Cause of the bug:
The "left-right" mirror function of DirectDrew is no longer supported by
some new graphics cards (Such as Geforce 9800).

How did I fix it?
I pre-rendered the mirrored pictures and put them along with the original
pictures.
For example, for Davis, it's animation consisted of
davis_0.bmp, davis_1.bmp, davis_2.bmp
In LF2 v2.0a, there are
davis_0_mirror.bmp, davis_1_mirror.bmp, davis_2_mirror.bmp, they are
the "mirrored" version of the 3 bmp above

Impact to modifiers:
It is recommended that you should create those *_mirror.bmp with your
character files.
In case the mirrored pictures are not provided, LF2 will try to do the
mirroring programmatically. It means even you don't provide *_mirror.bmp,
LF2 may still work. However, if you are using Geforce 9800, the "wrong
sprite picture" bug will happen when those mirror pictures are missing.

NTSD guys are even not sleeping, trying to make the mod faster, and then have a rest. and you're not showing any sprites, we dont see any progress for about 2-3weeks. So maybe you can wake up? Wait a second, I never said we stopped. And I don't think you'd like to be compared to someone else when you had minimal time for your hobbys. As a matter of fact, I am always thinking about BLF2, what new moves could I create, how would I do that, what would amaze players in stages, etc... Since you guys are not giving ideas I have to think of everything myself. Sometimes I just stop doing everything and just sit for an hour on my chair; and think about BLF2 for the entire time. Don't be afraid to be denied, I can't add everything you suggest, but you may hit the jackpot. I even think about it before going to sleep and sometimes I just wake up in the middle of the night with amazing ideas that I hurry up and write into my BLF2 notes. I don't share it with you guys right away, i keep it for myself as a lil surprise when I open a up the mod a lil bit and will do intro for some famous youtubers to gain new people to the forums. I always appreciate your help. But writting how it suxs its slow and comparing us to NTSD is not gonna help at all. Unfortunately, it makes me feel frustrated and that slows it even more. I need good comunity to keep going. Its not easy to work on it every day, srsly lead something is harder than it looks.

If you guys ever wondered where do I get all the free time to play Online games (my videos on youtube) its for 2 reasons: 1st, Everyone needs a break. Don't tell me you're not playing games when you're tired of work and other stuff. 2nd, I always seek inspirations in other games for new moves and epic storylines. For example, I was just inspired by skill in Dekaron Online that's name is "Bouncing Defenser" ...and I tried to make similiar move to Chad in our BLF2 game and yeah, I succeeded. It took me long time since I had to create/edit several sprites and make all the timing and centerx/centery right. But the new move's actually very nice and I am happy I did it. You will see it in upcoming video about chad's editation.

Vampirel what do u think about if in stage mode when Ichigo had not enough HP, there will be some buttons combinations for attack in which Ogichi helps.some double Getsuga or for example they will stay back to back with words like "this is what a real slash looks like"(Zangeki ottovas tena koi aren da) and each makes getsuga slash to different sides of background...

i know that my english is bad...i had no practice for one year.:embarass:..but i think that u'll understand what i was trying to say)))))))))))))))


oh...Vamp..one more question:
in ur new video about completed Urahara there is "bloodmist needle spray"...

Welcome! Actually, you're very close to Super Move I have planned for Ichigo. But instead of slashing the Getsuga on diferrent sides, they will both slash it into one side as united power getsuga.

Actually, I'd love to intend it, but Just saying it takes too long for an action game like LF2. It actually lasts like 2 seconds and believe me thats more than enough for your oponent to strike you and cancel your move, which leads to blowing away your nerves.
Some Sound effects just can't be included.

Yeah, that's gonna be fixed... I think we all know that Byakuya's very overpowered now Soukatsui is the most wtf move in whole BLF2. I will add some wait to the attack and lower its damage a little. To byakurai, well, its gonna be changed as well, for completely diferrent one... more like the anime one... errr, you'll see.
And as from new moves: to normal byakuya, he'll probably have Danku and Rikujoukourou. The bankai edits are gonna be a little secret for now.

Yeah, yeah... weird one please don't mind these sprites.... it should have been Danku but that's gonna be updated soon. I have far more better sprites and btw, that sword defense could a very nice move for bankai byakuya...

And about the laagy case, BBR has smaller sprites and lesser characters, its data txt is certainly smaller than BLF2's. Large sprites causes laagness and that should be solved (as it was said like milion times) by creating mirror sprites, I am curently still testing it so just wait for results.

Sorry man, but uploading it on Rapidshare is pure bulsh*t. I was trysing to download it and the download slots (as always) were full. I tried like 20 times and then saw the file name "BBR" and then I was like: "Well f*ck that, this could take forever". And even if I could download it, we all knows that downloading from rapidshare is VERY slow and VERY laagy, stops like every 3 secs. So you must understand now.
