Jonacai sat down and started to eat lunch at his favorite tree. Unlike most members of Squad 11, Jonacai was quite quiet and reflective. He didn't really like to fight. But he had to with the Ryoka about.
Jonacai was fair-skinned, with spiked silver hair, red eyes, and long slender arms and legs. He wore black Soul Reaper robes with his insignia on the front and a patch of his brother's gang on his uniform. He had on silver arm guards, shin protectors, and surprisingly sneakers. He hated sandals. They made his feet hurt too much.
He felt the spiritual pressure of a Ryoka near. He pulled out his Soul Slayer, a longsword with a bloodforged blade, a Demon Skull crosspiece, and a golden hilt called Saurokai, and looked around him.
Chad was walking towards Squad 4's HQ. He got up and used a Flash Step to intercept him.
"I thought that Captain Kyoraku of 7th Squad had caught you," said Jonacai, swinging his longsword around him expertly. Chad replied, "I don't want to fight you. Please move out of the way."
"Sorry," replied Jonacai, bringing Saurokai in front of him and looking Chad in the eye, "But I can't let you pass. You're a danger to Soul Society and to the Seireitei." And Sadae, added Jonacai in his head, thinking of his girlfriend.
"You don't want to fight me," said Chad, charging up his cannon arm. "I grow more powerful when my power is used for my friends' sake." He fired his blast at Jonacai.
"Whoa!" yelled Jonacai as he barely avoided the blast. He then snapped into his fighting personality, Padriac, and said, "You hungry for lifeblood, Saurokai?! You're about to get your fill!!" He charged Chad and slashed at him.
"Uwoh!" grunted Chad as he tried to strike at Jonacai, but Padriac blocked it and yelled, "Okay! Saurokai! Unleash your full power!!!" He punched Saurokai into the ground and a shockwave blasted from him, throwing Chad back.
"Hado Number 90: Black Coffin!!" yelled Padriac, casting the spell, but Chad dodged it and hit him 6 times, throwing him up into the air and back onto the ground in the process.
"Dammit..." Padriac said, but he used another Flash Step and slashed Chad in the back. Chad barely dodged it and unleashed his full power on Padriac.
Padriac flew back into a tree and was knocked out for a little bit.
"Damn... it..." he growled, blacking out.
Chad said, "Sorry... Don't hold it against me." He walked away, leaving Padriac on the verge of unconsciousness.
C'mon thought Padriac to himself, MOVE!!!! He Got up and gasped, "Hado Number 90.... Black Coffin..." He blacked out, lying on the ground face-first.

When he woke up, he was back to Jonacai. He looked around and realized it was nighttime.
He struggled to get up, but once he did, he limped to Rescue Squad.
Saurokai came into being. He was a cloaked skeleton with a scythe and horns growing out of his head. "You really need to practice more, Jonacai," he said in a deep, commanding voice. "How else are you going to achieve Bankai?"
"I'm trying," he said, limping. "He just caught me by surprise, is all."
Saurokai said, "Hmm..." He then turned back into shikai form.
Jonacai just limped to Rescue Squad.
