hands down the most epic moment for me was spike dying in cowboy bebop. total fucking shock...i was chillin on my bed then he said bang and fell over. i hopped the fuck up and was like NO WAY lol. i stood their in shock the whole time the credits rolled. when it came up "your gonna carry that weight" i was like holy shit i can't believe they killed him...then i wanted to watch it again lol. when i bought the dvds i literally watched the last 2 eps of bebop everyday for over 2 wks lol

I've honestly only watched 2 animes so I'm just going to put a few. This is all from Code Geass seeing as I haven't even finished TTGL yet..

First and foremost, Suzaku stabbing and "killing" Lelouch in the last episode. I was almost going to cry, seriously.

Then, at the beginning of season 2 when Zero pops up on the screens all around the world and everyone freaks out. That.. was epic, my heart was pounding.

And also, to me, when Rolo died.. he was using out all of his Geass, making an epic speech, it was really sad and I gained a new respect for him. Epic, definitely. I'll put more when I actually watch more anime lol..

4. Viper's Creed, Episode 5: When Rudra nails that other sniper through her rifle's scope and out the back of the head, from 2km(1.24 miles) away. Sorry, but as much as I love Lockon Stratos, this guy definitely tops him in sheer badassery, even if Lockon's still cooler.

5. Kira Yamato's crushing defeat at the hands of Shinn Asuka - Gundam Seed Destiny, Ph34.

The Afro Samurai fight against the Teddy Bear dude, and the opening scene with Afro's dadda, and the final fight against Justice. Such an epic series.

Oh, the Kill Bill anime scene is amazingly epic.

DragonBall: The first time Goku uses kamehameha and EVERY subsequent time, because that's a move I'll never get enough of, when Goku fights Jackie Chun, when he fights Tien Shinhan, when he fucking punches right through King Piccolo, and most epic of all, when he headbutts Junior then gives him the Senzu Bean, best Saga ever.

DBZ: The OVER 9000 bit naturally (though the redubbed remastered version is kinda different =/) the Frieza fight BEFORE Super Saiyan, SUPER SAIYAN obviously, the Father-Son Kamehameha, the bit where Mr Satan (BEST. CHARACTER. EVER) teaches Buu how to be good, the bit where Good Buu comes out to save the day, the bit where Mr Satan tells the Earth to "STFU AND PUT YOUR GODDAMN HANDS U" (<-- paraphrasing) and obviously the bit where Goku does the Earth Spirit Bomb and then the final wish to put him back to full power.

EPIC.

FFVII ('cuz the character styles are anime), FFVII: Last Orders, FFVII: Crisis Core WHERE ZACK DIES YOU BASTARDS, Advent Children final fight, FFXII every part with Balthier.

The bit in Spirited Away where the chick remembers who Haku is and his dragon form disappears and they fly down through the clouds forehead to forehead. Love that scene.

Lots of Epic Moments in Anime, but my favorites are:

- Code Geass R2: Ep. 21 - The whole scene when Lelouch announces himself as 99th Emperor. I especially liked the part when Suzaku comes out. The entire final episode of R2, complete epicness.

- Bleach: Too many epic moments in Bleach to mention, but my favorites are from eps. 54 and 55, the saving Rukia scene (especially awesome when Ichigo beats down the VCs barehanded and when Yamamoto stops Ukitake from saving his 3rd seat).

- FMA: Ep. 40 - When it is revealed that Fuhrer Bradley is a homunculus. Ep. 43 - Armstrong and Mustang's combination attack against the Elric's and Mustang explains his reasons for wanting higher positions in the military.

- Naruto Shippuden: Ep. 31 - I thought Gaara being revived was pretty epic.

- Neon Genesis Evangelion: Ep. 19 - The entire fight sequence between Zeruel and Unit 01, especially when Unit 01 goes berserk.

There's alot more epic moments, but these are the ones i remember atm.

Cowboy Bebop #5, church fight, epic music, subdued but blazing action. one of my fav anime scenes ever. made me watch the whole series.

I have a lot of them, but for the moment I would say my top 5:

1- Cowboy Bebop, episode 5: Spike's reunion with his past, the music, the action scene, the opera and church scene. This episode is truly the best of the best. The title says it all "The ballad of the Fallen Angels". Hey what the fuck, I am gonna watch it right now, episode 5 again. The best epic moment for me in anime.

2- Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen, OVA: When Kenshin kills Tomoe and she gives him the last scar in his face and the dies, the fight in the snow was truly epic, when he is walking in the snow that he was seeing things, and when he began to kill at the end having the cross scar and fighting Saitou, that is indeed epic. The music they used was superb and excellent. Overall all the 4 chapters of Tsuiokuhen had epic moments.

3- Code Geass R2, episode 21: When Lelouch announces himself has the new emperor and the music hits at that time it was epic, also when Susaku appears as the Knight of Zero, and when his family members thought he was dead and see him alive and then he confesses to them that he killed his father, Charles, and casting Geass in everyone in the room, to obey him as the new emperor, truly epic.

4- Spriggan, The Movie: At the end of the movie when Yu Ominae is fighting Colonel MacDougal and MacDougal sees in Ominae's arm a tattoo that says Operation Cosmos 43 and then finds out that Yu Ominae was in Operation Cosmos and they start showing Ominae's past, since he was a kid, the training he had, the experiments they did to him, that is another epic moment. Personally one of my favorites.

5- Hunter x Hunter, episode 56: When Kurapica is fighting the unstoppable and powerful Uvogin, and we see that Kurapica beats the hell out of Uvogin utilizing his Nen abilities of Conjurer and Specialist, and then we see that Kurapica's eye is turned scarlet red, and explains to Uvogin that not only he can utilize the abilities of a conjurer and specialist to a 100% maximum potential but he can also do the impossible and use all Nen categories to a maximum potential, leaving Uvogin speechless by stating that and then he kills Uvogin. Truly epic, the fight scene, the powers, the animation, also the music is incredible, again this is an epic moment.

That is indeed some epic moments created by Aizen in Bleach, well those are the best moments in Bleach IMO.

- DBZ had a ton of epic moments, but Gohan going SSJ2 during the Cell fight is my top pick. The music (beautiful song!), the animation, the pure epicness of that moment was just amazing...and I love the "Oh shit!" look on Cell's face, lol

- The final judgment in Cardcaptor Sakura, when Yukito was revealed to be Yue.

- Spike's death in Cowboy Beebop.

The few action sequences Kara no Kyoukai has are epic. Although there are some missing in this video, but whatever. Contains spoilers btw.

I don't have a videoclip of it, but one moment in Saiyuki(besides any scene involving Hakkai getting pissed off, which happens occasionally, Goku's restraint breaking, or Kougaiji's ever-amusing mother-complex), is a scene in an early episode when the Sanzo Party is staying at this girl's house, and at night when a demon breaks in.
Goku's reaction is simply epic.

"You bastard, how could you...YOU ATE ALL THE COOKIES!!!!!"

Also Kougaiji getting his ass kicked by Goku that time was pretty epic.
