Anyone heard them? Japanese Noise-Hardcore... they've used them in a few American commercials and they did some of the songs for Perfect Hair Forever. Their guitarist is sick!

Melt Banana is nothing but a bunch of noise. I'd don't like them, but there song titles are rather amusing (Rough Dogs Have Bumps, Bored Elephant, Scissor Quiz, You Say Drink or Die, I Say Drink and Puke just to name a few)...

Yeah, he's probably my favorite guitarist. His names Agata and he has a medical condition where he gets wicked nose bleeds on stage. I think it might have to do with the performance, or anxiety but I really don't know for sure. To solve the problem he wears a paper surgeon's mask. I've seen them play live and one time by the end of the show you could see red spots on the mask.

Their music is definitely an acquired taste, but they're really best enjoyed live. The energy they put out on stage is ridiculous. The kind of band that wants to see the audience going berserk you know?

I gotta admit that I haven't heard much of them, besides their tracks on Last.fm

If you know them, you'd probably know Boris. They're one of my faves :)

Haha, yeah it's an awesome genre. I know I already mentioned it, but seriously, their live shows are some of the best experiences I can remember from high school. :amused:
