Hello! This, as you can tell, is a fanclub for the anime/manga FLCL, an anime so bizarre that I could only follow what the hell was happening half the time.
I noticed that there isn't any Fanclub for it, so I'm putting one up.

Meh, count me in, bucket. This series was fucking crazy. Never did get it, still liked it though.

Am I the only one Who felt sorry for everyone by the end of the final episode? The high school girls trust was broken, the Fake Eyebrow guy was ignored, Ultramaid was twarted again (although she got a kickass double neck guitar), and the kid was left back to his tedium. And the robot, what has he got to look forward to?

If you're in a tight spot and need a improv weapon, an electric bass is definately a good choice. Most often they are heavy enough to do some decent damage, but light enough to swing effectively with good force...

Thankfully, I've personally never had the unfortunate pleasure of accidentally testing the durability of a Rickenbacker, but I have with many a Fender bass. They're pretty indestructible. I've had one of mine fall down a flight of stares. Worked perfectly afterword, as expected. I'm telling you, Leo did them right...

And yes, I also loved that the crazy pinked hair girl had an old school Rickenbacker 4001. One of the reasons I started watching FLCL.

Its not just a bass guitar though, it's also a goddamned gun. I love her lemon Yellow Scooter though. And not only because it can drive itself.

The third episode was confusing as bedamned. I hadn't a clue about what was going on except that a satellite was falling down, and there was a baseball game on. After that, I have no idea.

For the most part, the Manga retains most of what the anime covers, but it also has a sort of darker tone as well as a little less details and dialogue. A pretty interesting mix and read, and I would recommend it for fans who love the anime.

Nice banner! I've glanced at the manga and it's, um...very different style than I'm used to. I should read it anyway. Though if it has less details and less dialogue I don't know if it will make anymore sense than the anime! lol

I was watching eps 3 & 4 the other day and I started thinking about the dubbed voice actors. I've never seen it with the original japanese voices (subtitles would be nearly impossible to read on my ipod). It got me wondering if anyone has seen it with both sets of actors and what they thought about them. Imo the english dub is excellent but since I haven't seen the japanese version that doesn't mean much.

^^ The japanese voices are just awesome :O cant be compared to the english dub. And yes I've seen both.

There were many memorable moments in the anime. I've always wanted to learn how to ride a motor bike and watching the anime got me very interested in purchasing a Vespa. It seemed cheap and low maintenance; basically safe. My memory is failing me because I keep getting FLCL and Excel Saga scenes mixed up which makes it even more ridicolous. pain and laugther

Anyone read the manga? I've tried a couple times but I can't get through it. I get bored of all things! I'll keep randomly trying but I think this may be one of the few mangas that's better in anime form!

i read the manga and the novels. after reading them and watching the anime i got a better understanding of what was going on. the manga and the novels have a lot of details that the anime didn't have.
