**New requirement: Tell an original, clever joke with your application. It can be anime-related or not. It can be unbelievably nerdy or not. Just not stupid. If your joke is facepalm-inducing, it'll hurt your chances.

Keep in mind that since we do admissions by general consensus it might take a bit longer, but I'm doing it that way so that everyone has a say in the matter, and so that no one takes it personally. (I promise, the chances of the entire division having a vendetta against you are very small)

I would definitely be interested in joining the Fifth, since that's where Aizen and Shinji are from, heh. As far as shoe-throwing, if I had my choice of projectiles to throw at our lame duck, it would be more painful than a shoe, and aimed much lower than his head :amused:.

I love to discuss the content, philosophies, logic, underlying mythology, and themes of Bleach and other literature, and generally use correct spelling and grammar. I am open to new anime and manga, and have watched a fair few besides Bleach, though I could never get into Naruto. Off the top of my head there's:

I would like to apply. I have just recently met your post requirement though most of my posting is in the fc's. I have been active and a member for just over 2 months now so that fulfills the 2nd requirement i believe.

I have definitely seen more and read more anime's/manga then Naruto and Bleach. I have completed Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop, Ruroni Kenshin, Outlaw Star, Full Metal Alchemist, TTGL, Trigun, S-cry-ED, Yu YU Hakusho as well as a couple others. I have also read Vampire Knight and Gantz(not the whole thing but the vast majority i believe). I am also very open to trying new anime and manga. It is the reason i have seen/read most what i have.

For the most part i like to be involved in spirited discussions of varied topics. There are not many things that i don't have some kind of opinion on and i love to here others views as well. The more intelligent the better. As far as passing the consensus i leave that to all of you to determine. I've seen/read a lot, but I'll just list a few...Blood+, Eyeshield 21, FMA, Death Note, Code Geass, Tenjou Tenge, Gantz, and I even recently started getting into One Piece...which should show how I can be willing to try new things after hearing how horrible OP was (it still sucks lol). Same could be said for Code Geass too. Garbage in garbage out but I did give it a ride.

As far as topics, I'm interested in lots of stuff, from sports to politics to music to videogames (the name says it all!), so I'm not a one-trick pony. Not sure what else I can say here...general consensus, well that's out of my hands I guess.

I was wondering how someone can join the 11th division. If this forum is anything like the Gotei 13 then I would want to join the 11th division. Being a Former Marine I feel that the 11th division would be more to my liking because as everyone knows Marines fill the ranks of the 11th division. Seriously though, how would someone join the 11th squad as I am a major fan of Kenpachi Zaraki and the 11th squad? I hope that I am not making waves and causing anyone heart ach but I just prefer the 11th squad.

Scroll all the way down, and you'll see the recruitment thread for each specific Division. However, for most, if not all of them, you'll need a lot more activity in the forums, which means a lot more posts (usually between 50 and a few hundred, varying from one Division to another). Good luck.

You need to give us a reason to accept you beyond wanting to join. What anime have you seen that isn't Bleach? How much do you like intelligent discussions? Plus one of the requirements clearly states that you open with a joke.

You don't have to be Jerry Seinfeld but if you can display some semblance of wit or at the least a substantive sense of humor along with a considerable knowledge of English, then we'll like your application a lot more. As it stands now, we have no reason to like you.

One day in the forest, 3 guys were just hiking along a trail when all of a sudden, a huge pack of indians attaked them and knocked them out.

When they woke up, they were at the leader of the tribe's throne.

The chief then said "All of your lives may be spared if you can find ten of one fruit and bring them back to me."

So after a while the first man returned with 10 apples. The cheif then ordered him to stick all ten of them up his butt without making any expression at all on his face. He had a little bit of trouble with the first one and started crying while trying to put the next one in. He was soon killed.

Later, the next guy came in with 10 grapes. The cheif soon ordered him to do the same as the first guy. After to the 9th grape, the man started laughing so hard for no apperant reason, and was killed.

The first two guys soon met in heaven and the first guy ask the second, "Why did you start laughing? You only needed one more grape and you'd have gotten away!"

The second guy answered while still laughing, "I couldn't help it. I saw the third guy walking in with pineapples."
