Will there be a second season? Got every macross show that has come, but my Macross Frontier folder seems abit lonely whit only 25eps...

theres gonna be a movie...likely a recap movie no less since michael is in the commercial

but given how stupid the ending was, they should keep it at one season.

on a side note: i would like to know what happend to SDF-2 Megaroad-01 other than that they lost contact when it was near the center of the galaxie... by Macross Frontiers time line Hikaru should be arround 66-67y/o same whit Maximillian Jenus of Macross 7 (fire bomber members should be younger...)

TBH i would like to see a movie whit "what do they do now" clips:P

I dont think their will be a second season but i got cringed watching the last 15 episodes and then the way it ended............

I just finished watching the latest Macross installment and found it to be really fun to watch. I was AltoxSheryl all the way, the battle scenes were visually impressive, some of the plot elements were your standard futuristic anime with a little love triangle thrown in but overall I would say that it was good but i doubt that there will be a second season. though i didn't know there was a movie coming?

I know this is posted about half year ago, but I must reply.
Yesterday, I've finished Macross Frontier and thus completed all Macross series, movies, OVAs - with a exception on Macross II: Lovers Again, Macross Plus Movie Edition, Macross XX, Macross Frontier Deculture Edition (gotta find that subbed on english), Macross Fufonfia, and of course Macross Frontier ~Itsuwari no Utahime~, but it hasn't come out yet.
Don't intend to watch Robotech Macross.

Anyway, about SDF-2 Megaroad-01...
I too would want to know what happend with this ship, especially with Lynn Minmay and Misa Hayase, who are (including Clan Clang from Macross Frontier) probably my overall favorite characters in this, so perfect anime series.

But, since it's passed more than 25 years since first Macross series, I don't believe we will ever find out what was the fate these legendary anime characters - it's one of these animes where some things and details aren't revealed.

I must say that I started watching Macross animes just few months ago, but they are legendary to me , anyway.


EDIT: And if they are (Hikaru, Misa, Lynn, and rest of crew) still alive, I don't think aged too much, because during folding, time flows slower.

This is a great anime series. Like the whole 25 episodes and the ending. I really doubt they will make a second season but a movie is coming out. Great character development, story, music and visual effects. Overall Incredible anime series. If you liked this series you will enjoy Macross Zero.
