Negima new OVA series

This is a provisional news based on unofficial sources.
Multiple blogs reported that Kodansha announced the second season of Negima OVA at the preview event of "Mahou Sensei Negima! OVA Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba". It will be four-volume series and bundled with manga "Mahou Sensei Negima!" Tankoubon. The first volume will be released this summer. If the sales of the new series are sufficient, they will make an anime movie of Negima.

I took that from Mal forum, it look interesting :).
The anime sucked ass but now it will follow the manga plot but I really wonder which arc it will take. (Edit: It will be the magic world arc, yay ^_^)

Giving SHAFT the production is a good idea seeing Shiroki tsubasa ala alba they did a good job there.

Now I hope that some people who didn't liked the anime will give it a try since the anime was a failure, and every fan of the manga such as myself need to watch them.

It's for those who read the manga, if you only followed the animated version you will understand nothing.

It will feature the Mahou Sekai arc (Magic world arc, the current one we are in the manga)

Negi vs Rakan animated is gonna be awesome and since SHAFT did a good job with the last set of OVA (Shiroki tsubasa Ala alba) I expect these one to be good as well.

but i hoope they developpe the arena fight a bit more....IMO in the manga it was like 1,2,3 done....

Well at the end of Rakan vs Negi will the arena still be there XD? I mean even not at full power it was said he almost destroyed the shield completely... I predict an Arena evacuation before the end of the fight

But well it was to be expected xD. Koutaro and the dark guy are pretty strong too, but Negi vs Rakan is at a totally different level.

Yea, i guess....another thing i dont like is negi's artefact.....he poped it...said something like " now your artefact is useless...lets fist fight this" and thats it...i would've expected something nicer from the end of chapter 240

Since Negi want Rakan to acknowledge him as a man he will want to fight and win against him fair play.

Negi artefact can litteraly cancel any magic because of Asuna pactio, can heal himself from any wound because of konoka's one, have acess to every magic who exist via Yua's one, can read mind with Nodoka's one and I could go on...

But hey like he said that's only his first trump card, he got more to his sleeve...
The thousand bolt got activate via a delay cast as we have seen it activate after Negi casted it.
Negi talked about charging himself with this energy, that litteraly mean he would charge himself with the biggest AoE spell in history at full power + Magia Maebara.
I mean it I really think that Negi has a chance to win against Rakan even without his artefact.

By the way, Mahou sensei negima ~Shiroki tsubasa Ala alba~ OVA 3 is out Raw.

Don't expect any sub soon since the second OVA got aired like 3 month ago and there still no sub.
