Gundam series help

quick question about the Gandam series. ive seen alot off different stories
Gundam, Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED Destiny, Gundam Wing and Gundam X. i was wondering if they all follow on from each other or if theres any particular order you should watch them in? or are they simply different series that have no relation to each other

-In the Universal Century timeline, Gundam is the name of the Earth Federation's first experimental general-purpose mobile suit, which is incredibly powerful compared to most of the mass-produced models eventually used by either side. Afterwards, many powerful mobile suits based on the Gundam's design also carry the name.

-In the Future Century timeline, the word Gundam refers to a colony's entry in the Gundam Fight, a competition that determined which colony would rule the Earth for the next 4 years.

-In the After Colony timeline, the word Gundam refers to most mobile suit constructed out of a special alloy, called Gundanium, which can only be mined and produced in space. This alloy gives the Gundams high resistance to conventional weaponry. Every Gundam has a unique name that befits the nature of the suit and/or its origins.

-The After War timeline is a loose continuation of the Universal Century continuity. It represents a 'What-If' scenario and many of the mecha designs are loosely based on UC suits.

-In the CC (Seireki) timeline, the name Gundam is given to the White Doll/Turn A mobile suit, and takes place in the distant future.

-The Cosmic Era is referring to the years after the foundation of the first space colonies. This timeline mostly mirrors the UC's balance of power between Earth and the colonies

You guys did not answer his question, he said is there an order he has to watch in. No there isn't an order, I watched SEED without any kind of prior experience with the Gundam universe.

1. Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam -> Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
2. Gundam Wing -> Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz
3. Gundam SEED -> Gundam SEED Destiny

It doesn't really matter which one you watch first, although I suggest you watch Gundam Seed first.

um g gundam is pretty good too. not the best but good. universal century is good. i like 8th ms team and 0080.
seed is alot like universal century redone. but i do like seed alittle better than the beging part of universal century.

As a starting point, I recommend: 08TH MS TEAM, 0080: WAR IN THE POCKET, and 0083: STARDUST MEMORY.
Between the three of them, they have everything that makes Gundam great. The Graphics are excellent, not too old but not brand-new - a great middle ground.

I'll explain: Other than Seed and Destiny, which are brand-new, most Gundam series are graphically quite old. In my experience, someone who watches Seed/Destiny first will be less able to appreciate the older series because of the difference in graphics. The above three came out later than, for example, Zeta, so the graphics are better, but at the same time they're recent enough that they can compare to more recent stuff without seeming antiquated.
So someone who starts with those, or with Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz is usually more likely to not begrudge older ones like Char's Counterattack or Zeta the relative inferiority of the graphics.
The added advantage is that each one presents some aspect of Gundam that the fans like:
0080 focuses on the interaction between and development of the characters, rather than the mecha battles, and on demonstrating the effect War has on the civilian populace.
0083 is more traditional in terms of Gundam, right down to the Gundamjack. The character development takes a back seat to the actual fighting and the plot, but is nonetheless quite good.
Meanwhile, 08th MS Team is less concerned with prototypes and more focused on the grunts on the ground, presenting a grittier, more realistic Gundam with the bare-bones RX-79, as opposed to the massively advanced GP-series of 0083 or the brand-spanking-new, Newtype-only NT1 of 0080.

So really, it's your call. I'm just suggesting.

well ive just finished watching Gundam SEED, i thought it was a great series but i wanted a little more at the end, another episode i guess. It was kinda lame that flay wanted to talk to kira back when she was on the archangel, but kira said "not now, later ok" and they never had it due to the next time he saw her she died. But i guess that cant be helped because she could of ruined Kira with Lacus (As much as i didnt really like her in the series)

i also wanted to see more Kira and Lacus in the end when she thought that he died, the reunion would off been something special ^.^ when he got back on board the ship. aswell as the other chars... if they stayed with ORB or went back to ZAFT

i also found theres 3 Gundam Seed Special Editions witch are pretty much the entire series jammed into 50min episodes with new scenes. anyone herd or seen off them and no if there worth watching or downloading -4.3g- i wanna be sure http://www.boxtorrents.com/details.php?id=127567

Secondly, in the UC timeline, 0080 is the worst one. To sum it up, it has the worst pilot ever as the main character. She was in a gundam, and she got killed by a regular Zaku II. Thats not possible, as her gundam was better than Amuro's gundam and he survived against Char and his superior Zaku II Char Custom solely on the power of his suit. Not only that, he killed two Zaku II's while reading the instruction manual trying to figure out to operate the gundam, LOL. So for her to get killed is simply pathetic and unforgivable.

In this order, watch Mobile Suit Gundam, then 8th MS, then 0083, then Zeta Gundam, then finish the series with Char's Counterattack.
Dont worry about Double Zeta its crap as well.

Watch Gundam Wing and forget about endless waltz it sucks.

Watch Turn-A Gundam.

Amuro is the star of Mobile Suit Gundam and also the sequels Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam and Char's Counterattack, at least as memory serves...

I don't know which series exactly you want to watch...nor do I have any idea where you can download the various series...

I suggest checking some torrent sites...I hope that helped...

cock blister is mostly right...he's the main character in the original, a supporting character in zeta gundam, and is again the main character in char's counter attack. but drake left out his appearances in gundam evolve...cg shorts made for the gundam museum (which are awesome btw) amuro is in three of them. the nu gundam vs alpha azieru one, the zeta gundams vs the psycho weapon one, and the chalia bull one.
