Cause I am short on money I need to know how hard core it is, so can someone explain the story to me? As well as the gameplay, if you can that would be sweet.


Plus, the demo was kickass, just thought I should throw that in there.

I liked the demo very much too, but I wont buy it. I prefer bying Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5.
If I were you I'd get those two first since they are online too and get FEAR2 some other time.

There's the expansion pack for COD:WaW coming up too, so I can't afford FEAR2 right now...

What he said!!, its a good game if you liked the first f.e.a.r(not the exp packs they sucked) Then you'll like f.e.a.r 2 gameplay has been smoothed out a bit guns are funner and well the ending is "LOL" its a bit short of a game though only 7 intervals an each lasting no more than about 30-45 mins.

Rape you say? I'll have to check it out later, I ain't gonna get Resident Evil 5, the control seems to much like MGS4 and god knows that no one wants to hold down 3 buttons to fire. It looks cool and all, plus W@W maps don't intrigue me that much. But Killzone is a definite. DAMN THIS MONTH AND IT'S STRAIN ON MY WALLET!

You'll get used to Resident Evils controls. It's pretty much like Resident Evil 4, I guess. I found the controls tricky too, at first, but now I kinda like them.

For me the must-have titles for now are Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5. Resistance 2 kicks ass as well and it's already out.

Dawn of war 2 for me! an RE5 Controls at first were hard but use to them now and love the how gameplay =)

will pass on killzone 2 i think dont like it that much haha =s would like SF4 instead

i played this game for like an hour...nothing great i thought the graphics were pretty good seeing how you get water on your screen from running in water etc..but then i picked up a gun and it didnt live up to the graphics imo..just sometimes you shoot someone 5 times with a shotgun and nothing happens and then you shoot them once and their body just explodes...basically the graphics are great until you start shooting things.

doesnt come close to competing with a cod or gears 360 game or even dead space i found more enjoying.

F.E.A.R 2 is not worth buying imo.. i've played half-way through because i'm a fan of the series.. and about the shotgun thing, it's good only at close range, if you have any distance between yourself and the opponent it's pretty much useless..

i should be able to blow someone head off from 15ft easily it wasnt that either just something didnt add up didnt seem as advanced as call of duty or gears and dead space had much more of a fear factor..the only thing scary in fear is if your not paying attention and that dumb naked zombie bitch pops up out of no where.

I enjoyed the original FEAR, but the demo of this one didn't do much for me. Think I'll get Dead Space instead.

Yeah, I just watched the only part that seemed really wierd (the rape part) and then just read wikipedia. I don't think i'll buy it till it drops in price (instead I am gonna get SF4).

On a side note, I don't think I have paid money for any of the games I have bought in the past 2 months. It's kinda nice.

Never played the first but it looked good. Maybe i should get into the series.
