Yeah, alot of people are dissing him. Well, I love him.

There was a good explanation about the Ichigo, Ishida and Orihime love triangle. One thing they have in common is that they are all one-sided. Ishida is the only one in-love with Orihime, while Ori is so in love with Ichigo... Who I don't see feeling the same way. I actually hate what Ichigo is doing to her, but I cannot blame him. He's just so blind.

Whereas Orihime's love for Ichigo is obsessive and fantastical(which is harming her and hurting her, which a love should not be), ishida's love for Orihime is selfless and some would say true, and he is still happy just seeing her safe, even if he could see that all Ori is thinking of is Ichigo... (I might be get bombed by other shippers, but I am no shipper of anything, just explaining what I see).

Let's keep this FC alive.

I somehow keep thinking back to Ryuuken. He must have been shown for a reason and there are still many holes when it comes to his and Uryu's history, which I find intriguing. We don't even have a clue on his mother.

I'd like to know what Ishida's reaction would be if he ever finds out that not only are Ryuuken and Isshin sort of friends, but that Ryuuken knows that Isshin is a shingami.

As to what Ishida's role will be I'm not entirely sure at the moment. Then again I never guessed that it would be him who would show up to get rid of Yami.

but what I wanted to say, which I also said int chapter 347 discussion, I don't think that Ishida would regret dying for Inoue. In fact he would be happy if he was able to save her. He's too selfless to regret giving himself for her. WHat I do think he would regret is that if there is something that is to happen to Orihime (other say she might be seriously injured, or she might die). So what I wanted to say is that, I don't think Ishida will die.

Before, I never really thought that Ishida likes Inoue in that way. One reason is that I thought that he acts that way towards every women, like how he acted similarly towards Nemu. Why do you think Ishida likes Inoue despite their obvious differences?

Somehow, if Ichgo will go into his inner world again, then Ishida will probably try to fight Ulqi & protect Inoue. I was expecting that Orihime would just reject the Espada into oblivion, but since K. Titty is one of the few pure fan boys, doubt it. It's hard to say now. Back at first in SS, he had flaws at everything. He only used speed & the arrows. It seems now he kinda developed some kind of technique to attack and yet to defend himself as well. So, I guess, he might have to learn how to defend himself a little more, but when he goes into that big bow thingy, I think it also can be used as a shield. :P

Ishida is a hugely underappreciated character in Bleach. He needs more lovin'! As for his techniques; I think Ishida has something up his sleeve, but it will probably turn out to be ineffective knowing KT.

In which case, he'd have to rely on his formidible intellect to see him through (as always).

yep, his mastery of the Quincy techniques, and at such a young age is always something to be admired. I was always hoping that he'll be able to use QFF at whenever he wants too, the pinnacle of his Quincyness but people will call such like that a plotkai. I call that cool.

But if Ishida thought things through logically, he would've taken Inoue and run for it. He acknowledged he would regret taking her above Las Noches but with Inoue tugging at his heartstrings, rational thought was a goner.

I like the recent monologue from Ishida's POV. It's shown us that despite the cool and calm demeanor, there's a human lurking somewhere in there.

actually that is the best thing about Ishida. He does not want to show he cares, but he is really one who cares the most, selfless. Remember he even tried to fight for Rukia in the beginning arc, despite him knowing she's a shinigami and that he probably have no match for Renji. He was willing to get killed for Rukia and they don't know each other that much yet at that time.

Inoue desperately needs some sense knocked into her.

yes it is a new technique. It translates to White rain or something like that.

I think Ishida is strong, and in time, he might get to the level of Ulq... but like I said, in time, not yet right now. It would be cool to see him have a good fight with a strong character though, since his fight with Szayel is null and void since his powers were somehow sealed during that fight. If Ishida would defeat Ulq, I wouldn't like it to be attributed much to a power up, but more to tactics and smart moves.

I write as well but I don't really have that many with Ishida in at the moment. He's in some of my multi-chapter fics but only in a minor role, but I do have a few Ishida/Inoue drabbles (though those are quite old now).

What I was saying was that Ishida looks like the angel(white rain, white, cross) as someone mentioned earlier, and Ulquiorra, or even Hichigo when he comes out, is the Demon. I mean, KT must have put him there for a reason, I hope he did. Not just to be a little distraction for Ulq while Orihime cries her heart out for Ichigo.

Yeah, that is the big question.. Everybody says that Hichigo will become very powerful (and way above Ulq) and go berserk that he attacks his friends... but hey, if this happens, then this will be the continuation of the match that was interrupted long before the ss arc. It would be cool, and the situation will be more serious than a broken hollow bait.

on the contrary, I don't think that Ryuuken wants to kill Uryu. I think he is really protecting him, since he is the last member of his family. Remember that flashback or Uryu with Souken? He told that Ryuuken found something to protect that is why he isn't practicing being a Quincy, and i think that person is Uryu. Another one is the conversation Ryuuken had with Isshin when he learned that Uryu escaped. It all points out to Ryuuken really caring for his son. This is how I see it, you might interpret is otherwise.

Or maybe the reason Ryuuken doesn't want Uryu associated with the Shinigami is because he thinks they are trouble, and if Uryu becomes friends with them, he'll be put into a lot of danger, like how he had been close to death for many times being with them (could probably be a lesson learned from personal experience.)

Ishida is easily my favorite character in Bleach since the day he appeared. I thought his style was really cool and loved his cockiness..Fighting wit bows and arrows have always been nice to me and Ishida is such a strategist in battle...

Surprise Ishida doesnt get that much love...always felt he was a great rival for Ichigo...wish KT made him a bit stronger and was disappointed wit his fight wit the 8th espada...

yeah, Ishida actually looked pretty strong in the begining, but it seems Kubo forgot to give him stronger updates. at the beginning he was as strong as Ichigo, but then Ichigo got stronger and stronger and he didn´t. Ithink he should get more power like Sasuke in Naruto for example.

those were really epic, but nothing can beat the Mayuri fight for me and the appearance of the QFF. Ishida was bad ass during that arc, I really hope he catches up with Ichigo since he was his first rival.

BTW, I really think he will surpass Ryuuken. I know Ryuuken is great and is also gifted, but Uryu has more passion and dedication, and besides, he got Ryuuken's genes.

btw, it just tells you how a strongly principled man he is. He even had more guts than Orihime, to go there and preserve Ichigo's humanity, when it should have been her who acted upon it, saying that it is she who loves him.

The first one being that he took of the sanrei glove to despite the knowledge that he would lose his powers, and when he fought renji when they first met. He knows they are stronger but he lets his principles and morals get the better of him. That is why I say it is very much in keeping with his character.

This is interesting for the sake of its obscurity, like I enjoy entertaining the idea, but of course I doubt it. It would be possible though; maybe Ishida learned something about it in Szayel's lab or something, which is part of the reason (other than Orihime..) he rushed on up to the Ulquiorra fight. But even so, there aren't enough clues to support it as is, and I think if it was at all possible, we'd have a little more evidence.

His dad hates the quincy lifestyle, he feels it will bring no profit and he doesnt think Uryuu makes good choices thats why he says you have no talent.

yah, i also noticed that when I was rereading some chapters. I do wonder if it was because of the lack of cape that he made that comment. Or maybe you are right, the change of heart in terms of quincy clothing came from honoring his grandfather.

Tite Kubo was born Uryū Taito, on June 26, 1977, near Hiroshima, Japan. The child of a retired actress and a businessman (Ryūken Taito, Quincy inc.), Tite led an uneventful childhood. "I didn't have any direction in life. I didn't know what I wanted to do. When people asked me 'What do you want to do when you grow up?' I didn't have any sort of meaningful answer. I used to say 'A Quincy!' to get them to stop asking. But I didn't have the eyesight to be a Quincy. It wasn't until I was six or seven that I began to realize that I wanted to work in fashion." A self-described reserved kid, Tite used to pretend his anti-social withdrawal was him being a cool, aloof kid, but in reality, he was just shy.

When he was 10, Tite witnessed his Grandfather's violent death, but repressed the memory. At about this time, Tite became increasingly interested in anime and manga, and began to entertain ideas of becoming a mangaka. In high school, he joined the anime club and honed his skills as an artist.

After graduation, Tite began work on a story, Zombie Powder, which he submitted to Shonen Jump in 1997. It was rejected outright, leaving him disheartened. "Cute jokes, but horribly timed. Too much philosophy and too little angst. Study pacing and story telling. There is not enough story here to run for years and years, as we require," the rejection letter read, followed by a handwritten "Great character designs. I like the clothes." Tite recalled his childhood dream, and the rest is history.

A departure from his shy childhood self, Tite Kubo is now an outspoken gossip who loves nothing more than to talk about the fashion industry. His website features downloadable footage he'd collected with a camcorder backstage at all his shows. (Popular especially is the candid footage from the dressing rooms, although his models are less surprised by him than ever.) His behavior's earned him a few enemies, but most people find him irresistibly charming, and he has many powerful and influential friends around the globe. As a designer and a businessman, he is known for his very hands-on approach.
