Sakura's next power up

So far Sasuke and Naruto have gotten a power up related to their Sennin after their death. Sasuke got Orchimaru's power and Naruto got Sage Mode. So what do you guys think Sakura will get in terms of a power up?

Well according to Chiyo, Sakura will surpass Tsunade. Usually in manga, statements like that always come true. So she can't be at her limits currently. Tsunade still a great deal stronger overall than Sakura.

Yes, but we're talking about her next power-up. And like Infinitekaos or someone else said, Chiyo remarked that Sakura would surpass Tsunade some day. As it is right now, Sakura is still weaker than Tsunade, so she has to get stronger.

you guys seem to be forgetting the fact sakura was originally a genjutsu type as kakashi mentioned right after the time skip. kurenai sensei should give her some lessons in that field (or any other 'specialty' she's good at :D)

No, I don't think it is genjutsu because after the fight with Orochimaru she turned into her "old" self instead of everyone being released from a genjutsu.

IMO sakura getting genjutsu would only make her weaker.....I mean, that or she become the "i own alot of small fries" character....We all know gentsusu is shitty...unless its a kekkei genkai....or a special jutsu ( frog song..ect)....IMO i gentsusu user like kurenai wont go far and will only become a teacher in some ninja school xD

In seriousness. I think that Sakura wont ever get a huge powerup. I think she'll perhaps learn to use her medical abilites like Kabuto whilst still using her super strength, so for example, she'll slice off someones leg with her hand.

I think some sort of supreme medical jutsu that surpasses Tsunade is the most likely candidate for Sakura's power up. Sasuke surpassed Orochimaru, Naruto surpassed Jiraya, it only makes sense that the last Senin is surpassed by her student, the last member of team 7...

Well we can assume that Sauske can summon snakes just like Orochimaru. Naruto is able to summon the toads. Sakura should be able to soon summon that slug creature Tsunade summons as well. (Forgot the name of the bosses that were summoned by each of the 3 Sennin)

I think it stems from the fact that Kakashi has said on a few ocasions that she was a "genjutsu type". The fact that she has such precise control of her chakra lends itself to casting and defending against genjutsu.

Also, it fits in with the motif of Team 7. Naruto tends to lean more toward Taijutsu and being a close range fighter with a few close range ninjutsu. He only has one long range jutsu which requires sage mode. Sasuke excels in Ninjutsu and using elemental attacks which is helped by his Sharingan. The last remaining shinobi skill is Genjutsu in which Sakura was said to be "that type". It would theorectically make them a well rounded team even if they aren't a team at the moment.

Reason I say earth is its likely Naruto will be water and wind, Sasuke is lightning and fire. So that just leaves earth.

3. probably greater amount of chakra but will be nothing compared to sasuke's and naruto's

4. discover something like a new healing jutsu that can revive the dead if u get to them on time or some jutsu which can heal/regenerate major multiple organs damage...it was stated in the manga tsunade couldnt heal major multiple organ damage which reulted in the death of dan...so she can surpas tsunade in this aspect

But if you think about it this way naruto learnt jariya's toad jutsus sasuke learnt orochimaru's sneak jutsus so it kinda pinpoints what sakura would do.

Actually...

Naruto had his sage training in addition to what Jiraiya taught him.

Sasuke was taken under Orochimaru's wing, but was later ripped out of him thanks to Itachi. I recall it was during his fight with Killerbee that he mentioned he lost a lot of his self healing ability in lieu of that. Can't remember.

Sakura has already been taken underneath the wing of Tsunade, and it has been stated she possesses the potential to surpass her. Chances are, whatever she gains as a "power up" would be something that is outside of Tsunade's range.

I'm basing this on the fact that Naruto and Sasuke have both seemingly jumped miles ahead of their respective original teachers. This assumes Sakura follows in suit.

Due to the deleted post... Her next power up is more than likely not going to happen. Naruto is about to finish up and unless Kishi does some type of time skip, don't expect her to get a power up. Even if she did, she won't be needed unless she fights Karin in some serious bout which I think they are pretty much even, so a power up isn't needed there. Sakura doesn't have any foes to fight and the only one she is probably going to fight is the one on team hawk. No power up.

I personally believe that no more development will be invested in her. I think this is so, as it seems almost as though the manga is nearing its conclusion. Recently, she has been shown lesser and lesser, with the focus orientating more on Naruto and sasuke. Therefore I believe she will not recieve any more developments. Perhaps she will learn to control her emotions and mature further, but besides that, no.

Also, Tsunade doesn't use genjutsu, she regenerates her cells, by destroying them, then recreating them.

She should get an superbly amazing totally awesome multipurpose sphere move like Sasuke and Naruto. I think rather then cut or tier, it should eat-absorb. Something like this could fit her medical ninjutsu by being able to absorb poison or w/e out of peoples bodies as well as help her regain her strength by eating her enemies Chakra and any other type of energy that just happens to be laying around.

It was decided way back that Naruto is the frog summoner, Sasuke is the snake, and Sakura the slug. People then knew that they were going to be their sensei's. Orochi -> Sasuke, wich means i figured out Sasuke was doomed to go to Orochimaru even as far back as his first apperence as a "snake-man". As soon as we saw Jiraiya on that toad, i figured, oh this is related to Naruto, and finally Tsunade was the third in the sannin, the speculations came, and wow she summoned a slug. Hoooow unpredictable. However, her next power-up is most likely a slug summoning, that's a powerup nonetheless, even though i sucks.

She will excel even more in medical ninjutsu, she has an affinity for that type of nature transformation, isn't it stated that it's a form of Yin-Yang trans, just like Kage no jutsu? and Baika no jutsu?

The funny thing about that picture is how it ruined the fun, you knew Sasuke was going to Orochimaru despite the attempts of "saving him". You knew Naruto would get the frog type, just as we know now that Sakura is getting it sooner or later. And we knew that Tsunades summon would be a slug, those god damned cover pages can be dangerous!

^^ I will say that the cover pages can be foreshadowing at times, but I don't think they are always that way. It would be logical for Sakura to be taught to summon slugs. Although I don't think she has the chakra capacity to summon Katsyu. She has great chakra control, but not a lot of stamina. Naruto needs fox chakra or Sage enchanced chakra it seems to summon the boss toads.

Yeah, but Naruto's own chakra is greater than even Kakashi's, and I think that he should be able to use his own chakra with a little bit of the Kyuubi's added in to summon the Toads. It's because he seems to have a greater degree of chakra control now, as seen by him having mastered Natural Energy.

The manga authors have no say as to what happens in the anime, except for some episodes here and there that are co-written by the manga author. Kishimoto therefore has no say in what happens in the anime. The guys who are making the anime are working alone, and Kishimoto can't say anything to them. Even if he would, they probably won't listen. They don't even have to follow the manga, really.

LOL, I prefer the latter one.

IMO Sakura's next power up will be giving birth to a bunch of kids from a random pimp ninja in konoha that will have her working as a prostitute. She got super strong using steroids thanks to Tsunade for hooking her up with them. She got all the development/power up she was gonna ever had in this franchise.

Sakura's timeline:

1-Cuts her hair
2-Gets some extra strength via some steroids
3-Has children
4-Dies
