So after looking around, i found that there was no SF FC. So its my pleasure to announce the opening of the Street Fighter FC(Complete SF series included). If you want to join, just post saying so, and i'll add you when i can. Also looking for 2 Co-owners. Also doesnt really matter but if ya want to claim a character go ahead, you dont have if if ya dont wanna though it's optional. Banners/Sigs would be helpfull, id do it but as of lately i dont have much time to do so since im working now from 8am-4pm, then have night school ><.

Topic: How would you rate the gameplay of SF IV meaning, comp ai, moves list, and chaining up combos, etc etc

IMO the comp AI is good, find it to be a challenge on the hard difficulties. Moves list could have been improved abit more, and doing those chain combo's seem to be pretty easy to pull off, take it u know how to use the char, be it the easy char like Ryu or sum1 harder to use like Chun Li

I'll also join. uhm, as for the gameplay, well it's pretty poor, I mean, that's how I see it anyway. I remember playing it the first time on those TV-gamebox..or w/e it's called. Then, I played some new one on my psp.

They kinda need more moves and combos.

yea seems like even though the move set and combo list is short the game franchise has sum how survived for so many years and ppl still luv the games. but its not the 90s anymore so i was expecting more moves and combos but i see that they didnt deliver that aspect for the SF IV game =(

The only problem I have with the move lists is the lack of supers (1 per character instead of 2-3 in the others), but considering how the Super Bar works in this game and the added Ultras, it seems reasonable.

SF4 is really the only SF game I own, but I have played a lot of the other games in the series. So far my favorite of the ones I've played is Alpha 3, the roster for that game was just awesome.

As for SF4 gameplay... the AI is annoying when you first get started, especially the bastard that is Seth, once you figure out their patterns they are not difficult.

I find the combo thing reasonable in the game as well. SF has never been a combo fighter and is more about approach then dealing huge damage with a combo.

Shameful how they added Seth who's not entirely part of the series, i hate how he moves, feels like im fighting a dumb ass char from bleach or naruto created for SF4 =( He gets annoying

I hate Seth too... he is just lame and his design looks like they ripped it off from Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen.

New topic: outta all the SF games which is ur fav or favs and a brief description of why.

For me SF3 old skool feel,classic move set/combos, classic supers and just owns lol. Addin new skool to old is SF4, more of a up to date feel graphic wise and bonus is the short anime clips thrown in. Chaining combos with more combos + ultra combo is a plus IMO. downside though would be seth, lack of move sets, and IMO sum ppl's supers/Ultra's arent as easy to pull off as they once were like back in the previous SF's, noting ultras would just be there supers but not on a big scale =p

Me too thought it wold be, but o well, maybe we'll get more members soon.
I thought SF4 was a good game, nice approach trying to get into the present time graphics and such. Imo best looking SF, but could have improved in some areas(Combos,easier Ultra's/Super's for some characters and WTF is with this Seth Character coming out of nowhere, seriously he doesn't belong in the SF world)

Seth is just a boss character, like Gill, who also came from nowhere, was in SF3.

I agree seth sucked and he did not belong there, Gouken was really pwned though!! I liked SF4 it was diffrent from the other SF's but they pulled it off.

My favorite is Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival for the GBA. There was an adjusted setup where, for example, ->+punch was a hadouken and the supers were A+B. Too bad I gave it away. It's impossible to find at any Gamestop now.

I like II too, but Super Street Fighter II is still my favorite because it started the whole super combo thing. Regarding the favorite character topic, my favorite is Ryu in SF II Turbo Revival. But as for the best fighter, I pick Akuma. Most people tend to choose Ken and Akuma because they have multi-hit shoryukens and hurricane kicks as opposed to Ryu who has a one hit special.

@topic - happy to see SF alive and still running goes to show that theres alot of SF fans out there in the world still, changes i would make are more combos and reducing the ability to use Ultra and Super, cause in my opinion you get to use it to often, also make the game flow more, were not in the 90's anymore they need to catch up with 2days games lol

No problem, I had an itching hand. lol. So, i think ill take Ken as claimage. Ah man, the super nintendo era, it was good. Good old days, the plastic cassettes, the console, the joystick with pretty m and m like colored buttons, blazing 2d fights.
I always liked to fight the indian dude, the Russian and the muai thai dude as an opponent and Guile's spin-back kick ftw!

Ever since I learned Down, Forward Punch on Street Fighter 2 I have been a fan.. that was over 10 years ago too..

I like to use Sagat on the older games and I will pwn almost anyone with Guy in Alpha 3.
