Call of Duty:World at War

Everyone i know play this game but tbh i dont see wots so special about it (maybe cos i suck at it) I suppose it isagood gamebut i just dont have tht "buzz" with the game. I do play it i guess, but as my prestige level of 7 can prove, i dont play it that much if at all.:weird:

It's an okay game. The inclusions of vehicles in multiplayer made it kinda stupid and made the game unbalanced. Hopefully Modern Combat 2 will ditch the vehicles. I don't play that often so I haven't reached Prestige yet. I'm around level 45.

I only played the beta. It made me realize that Treyarch somehow managed to eff up...again.

I have stopped playing FPS games cause i got a little bored of them...But,im playing cod5 just because it has this awesome map on co-op,the nazi zombies map...i freakin love it,we gather with friends and play lan and the most hours of the lan is the nazi zombies map...

Someone have also made some mods about it,like the modern weapons mod,which you have the weps from cod4

Also im only lvl 19,we play some co-op the missions from single player from times to times
Overall its a decent game

I like the fact that it's fast-paced and there's blood and gore. There are also perks and add-ons for the weapons.
Battlefield for example has way better graphics and fully destructive inviroment but no perks, blood, weapon add-ons. It's still an amazing game though.
Killzone2 has amazing graphics and some perks for each class, but it's not so fast-paced and it's hard getting used to in multiplayer especially. A great game nonetheless.

So, in conclusion, CoD:WaW may not have the best graphics but its content and its "arcade" style makes up for it. Still, I prefer Battlefield:Bad Company, but I admit CoD:WaW is a great game, in my opinion.

And there's also Nazi Zombies, which is just awesome.

It's not bad; Nazi Zombies is interesting. Modern Warfare 2 should be interesting though.

i did not like it that much. it felt too much like a remake of the earlier ones (cod 3)

I'm one of them. The inclusion of vehicles in World at War was a bad idea. Also I liked the modern weaponry more then the WW2 ones.

As for Nazi Zombies, I think it was a great mode to include and I hope there is some equivalent of it in Modern Warfare 2.

The inclusions of vehicles simply added an alternate method to Multiplayer, and helped reduce entire teams from going sniper and/or camping only. One good push backed by a tank can be quite effective. Yet tanks didn't take overly much damage or effort to destroy unless the server messed with health.

I mean, I only play on hardcore servers. Are they harder to beat on reg?

I agree, I liked COD4 more, but at least now there are some big maps and more modes. And the best of all, the two nazi zombies maps. Actually, now I only play HC S&D and TD and zombies. I've stopped playing the core modes, except for War sometimes.

I can't wait for the Modern Warfare II, it's going to be way better than this. Oh and Bad Company II as well. These two games, I'm definately buying.
