Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle: Season Two (http://myanimelist.net/anime/969/Tsubasa_Chronicle_2nd_Series) (FUNimation Entertainment English Dub) - 7/10.

I was VERY disappointed with how it ended, I can't wait to see the OVAs & Specials when they are finally English Dubbed.

The anime's about a guy, Chiaki, who aims to become a professional conductor in a orchestra. Very amusing series, the thing that mostly made it so good was the character drama and of course, the characters themselves.

It was intertaining but after reading a thread about it I expected more pervyness. It started out pretty good but the ending felt hurried, like they just found out it wasn't being continued and they wrapped it up in the most convient way possible. Sorry Akikan lovers.

Very dark/ post apocalyptic type/sci fi anime. Had one of those endings that made you say "WTF" and makes you take a break for a while cuz your mind is totally shot to hell. I still don't really know whether it was a good or a bad last episode. I remember feeling pissed/happy/sad all at the same time. In some ways i almost regret watching it. I mean to follow those character, see all that unfold and all the struggles they went threw only to have it end the way it did was so F'd up.

Having seen the manga, obviously I have problems with the anime. The main guy who was supposed to be just a normal guy, has powers + the direction of episodes and characters are done weakly.

it was a good anime, but it scored so high cause it was really funny, there was a lot of humor and though it was over the top sometimes, I laughed plenty, so I'm gonna say good anime and it's worth watching....though the animation is a little different and so is the storyline/plot.

Paranoia Agent. 8/10 - Was not to sure what to expect of this when I got it as the box did not have any descriptions on it. Was very good (if somewhat cynical) look at modern Jappanese culture.

:woot: I just finished "x" aka "x/999" which is made by clamp.

so 9.5/10, though I did it in marathon form, it was an amazing series that was very memorable, and had a great plot line and is a must for any clamp fan.

I also finished nabari no ou and Ouran (dub)....but I'm not gonna review them, I don't want to take away from the awesomeness that is X. :muaha:

Mixed feelings of what? I assure that you won't regret at all reading FMA manga -- getting to see the point where the anime diverged from, all the differences with Homunculus, and even more character development.

Well, at first I thought it was kinda lame and that DGM was much better but when Hughes died it was really shoking and then I found out that FMA anime is really from manga so my interest deepened.
Though I want to watch Gantz before reading FMA manga.
And now I can't decide what is better DGM or FMA because they're very similair yet very different.

DGM is good, but with its constant hiatus (with the mangaka's illness, etc), people have begun to lose interest a bit. FMA manga remains superior IMO -- since it's kind of unpredictable, being a shounen manga and all.

I know about constant hiatus but still for a shounen manga both FMA and DGM are quite unusual.
Unlike OP, Bleach and Naruto they are more mysterious,I'd say creepy and even depressing.

Still I say Haurhi ftw! Pity 10th novel isn't out yet. It like ended on double cliffhanger...

DGM and FMA, IMO, aren't pureblooded shonens - but, when I think about, which shounen is?

Anyway, altough I could see that FMA is a great anime in terms of quality, in the time I watched it, well, I've simply couldn't enjoy in it (yesterday, someone told something similar for Legend of the Galactic Heroes).
Movie was better.

Now I watch Brotherhood on a weekly basis, and it's quite enjoyable.

Didn't read manga though.

As for DGM, it's a shame they won't continue with an anime.
Movie or OVA would be appreciable.

True, they aren't pureblooded shounen in a sense (which makes the plot better anyway). The "shounen" part I mentioned is only based on the targetted demographic, not story.

My last anime was k-on! and I give it a 9/10.

It's about some girls who start up a light music club with the goal of reaching a professional stage known as budokan. The reason it gets a 9 is because the story never got that deep evne in the last episode and the extra episode after the ending was really bad compared to the ending.
