Hmmm . . . Arrunierro is said to have eaten 35.000 hollows, including that Zanpakutou-absorbing hollow who "killed" Kaien (stupid, I can't remember its name). He'd just call it forth and absorb/eat Mayuri whole.

OR . . . he'd just absorb Mayuri's Zan, render him unarmed, and then call forth a nasty hollow (or hollows in turn, just for fun), and play with the hapless mad scientist.

Another story if Mayuri got weirder gadgets up his sleeve . . . but heck, I'm no Mayuri's fan, and I say he's got none, except the super-sense serum, and all his internals are fake/dummies (as preparation to fight Syazel)

We never got to see the full extent of Aaroniero, therefore, Mayuri will pretty much take this. He has kidou/poison/shikai/higher intelligence etc. And, the ex-9th wasn't even an adjuchas to begin with. So, stabbing him in the head would be enough. I would like so much to give him the victory, but under these circumstances...would just be fanboy-ism of me.

Based on Rinda Man's condition, it's specifically the time when they are all in the Las Noches scene. There, AA explained about Glotoniera's ability and all. Now, given the fact that Mayuri needs to spare some time for an analysis to produce good (and specific) gadgeteries, it's just a matter of minutes (if not seconds) between AA's explanation and Glotoniera's release; refer to the thread's title, Shikai Mayuri vs AA, the fight occurs BEFORE the release, so - to my opinion - even Mayuri couldn't do analysis THAT fast.

Also, Mayuri has no idea of that Zanpakutou-absorbing hollow's ability, since there are only two people who had visual contact with it and are still alive . . . Ukitake and Rukia, and the hollow goes back to HM after stabbed by Rukia's Zan. So Mayuri would be going to prepare his "standard/generic" gadgeteries/weirdnesses, including that super-human serum.

Then it's also a fact that the hollow is a result of an experiment . . . so it's a "new" kind of hollow, to add to the fact that Mayuri definitely has no idea of it.

Well, based on portrayed facts, there's only one special hollow eaten by Glotoniera, and the other hollows would be easy for Mayuri to deal with. But that special hollow, plus the arrancarized Gloto, (I think) would give a bit of a hard time to Mayuri . . . if Gloto don't reach and devour him first, that is. I think AA is fast enough to do that . . .

Mayuri would probably win. It seemed like Rukia won based on some well timed plotkia. AA prettymuch had her beat through and through. Whether he got cocky or Rukia used her memory of Kaien to revive her or whatever she was beaten pretty badly. Mayuri also has a nasty habit of underestimating people so he could get rocked pretty hard and if he's just in Shikai then it would take longer and be harder, but he can probably still pull it out.

All Mayuri has to do is cut Aaroneiro once he wins,

if he cuts him before he releases he gets paralyzed and cant release, if he cuts him after he paralyzes his whole body with one cut, Mayuris Shikai paralyzes whatever body part it cuts, since Aaroneiros release is just a giant blob the whole thing should as one part and its over
