Well, I'd join the second division and perhaps even the Special Forces as well. Who would be the best to teach? Teach in what, may I ask, since different skills are taught better by different teachers.

In general, I would say Yamamoto-soutaichou since he opened the Shinigami academy, Soi Fon-taichou in kenjutsu, Yoruichi for shunpou, Kuchiki-taichou and Kenpachi-taichou for zanjutsu

I woudnt say that, considering the time spent as soul reapers its safe to assume they are exceptionally skilled and had time hone their skills. Also you have to take to account they were taught by Yama who is incredibly skilled and besides it safe assume they have better zanjutsu skills than Kenpachi.

Agreed. WHy would you not go to the person that personally taught two of the strongest captains and started the Shinigami Academy in the first place. The only person we can even speculate might have better knowledge of kido (and it isn't that likely) is the kido captain. And even then, you have to be proficient enough at kido in the academy before you get moved to the kido corps. And as for hakuda and houhou, well Yoruichi know doubt might have more techniques, but there is nothing to prove that she is any faster than he is.

i believe so. But yoru has her own technique, instead of the basic shunpo. I think there is a reason why she is called flash goddess(or something like that).maybe she is indeed the fastest shinigami ever.

Mine has to be Ukitake, I love his sense of justice and his kind and he kick ass whats not to like.. and yours?

I have too many favourites...I'm torn between Soi Fon, Byakuya and Ukitake. I like them for different reasons. I believe my favourite will have to be Kuchiki-taichou since I like his cold yet warm personality. He can be so cold on the surface and yet he could still care for others, namely Rukia.

Duh! "see username, Av and Sig" Reason is everything about him. His appearance, personality, Zanpakuto, Shikai, Bankai and most of all . . .. . . . Hakuteiken!!!!

Yes, it is extremely apparent Zakura that your favourite taichou is Byakuya ^^ I do agree that I like everything about him! Just his character is perfect, in my eyes.

Fav, man that's a tough one...well as for the current ones, it's a three way tie between Ukitake, Shunsui, and Byakuya. All three have killer personalities, cool zans, and are all around awesome. Net in line is a tie between ol Yama-jii and the wolf man Komamura, who are both also pretty cool to me.

I personally did not favour Komamura-taichou when I first saw him because something about him unsettled me. But after awhile, I saw his character expanded a bit more and I realized that my perception changed. He is one of my favourite now.

I put Aizen there because even if his espada are pretty strong, he himself has still not shown that he can deal with the top tier captains effectively enough to fight them with utmost confidence as he did against Komamura and Hitsugaya. Byakuya and Gin are there because both were good at a young age and were made captains about the same time. As for Ken and Koma, I'm still on the fence as to which is actually stronger. Both have brute strength, but Kenpachi might have the edge in reiatsu. Although Koma edges him out in most other areas. Tousen because, well we haven't seen him do a whole lot due to the fact that he lost because of his arrogance and stupidity. Soifon I'm gonna say has at least a slight edge over Hitsugaya because she isn't gettin merced in bankai...at least not yet. Hitsugaya for obvious reasons. And Mayuri is there because over all, he has some good things, but I'd say he has the least actual combat ability.

Highly possible scenario. They can be replaced, but I think Ukitake won't interfere with one's fight. Then again, that just might be a dramatic point that he would step in with a shikai perhaps. This would nice to see...

Tessai taking over could be it, or better yet, he will come along with Urahara and the Vaizards.

Other captains are still in Soul Society as Yama jii ordered. For some strange reasons, this is being dragged unknown to us, like adding more talks and re-caps. Anyhow, Ukitake's animation of Lilinette's weak cero attack is coming soon, that will be one glorious scene to watch and Shunsui already looks nice.
