Marvel vs Capcom Thread

Granted, there have been rumors flying around and most people were sure it was going to happen, but it's been 100% confirmed. MVC2 is coming to Ps3 and Xbox Live.

Will be coming out sometime in the summer and cost about 1200 points on xbox. A bit pricey, but anyone that's played the game before will agree it's worth every point.

There r rumours all over the place about if Marvel Vs Capcom 3 will b made and i saw an article on IGN about what characters they would like 2 see in it and i just wondered who u guys and girls would like 2 see in the game.

I don't mind infinites really, the same way I got over RC in CvS2.

But things like imbalanced characters drive me nuts because a cast of 56 characters turns into 10 with the occasional outcast.

MVC2 for the PS2 is going for 79.99 at GameStop used. Guess I should have bought it before.

There will be no MvC3, the licenses on Marvel expired. And technically it exists as Tatsunoko vs Capcom in the VS series.

Those above use the same engine

These are similar in their engines

Mortal Kombat VS DC is trash...it's not part of the franchise

i found MvsC2 on PS2 by chance a while back and I'm keeping it under lock and key. I was told at the time it was hard to get hold of, and that was five/six years ago, so it must be impossible to find now! It's a shame they didn't balance the characters out a little more, but at least it provides a challenge

Anyone play the demo? You need two controllers and the options are limited, but it's a quick download. I'm decent at the game: I get my ass handed to me by pro players, but I'll get better somehow.

This is worth the gamer points. Its still fun as hell, runs very smoothly, and Cable is still pretty much banned.

This game is unbalanced and some of the characters are broken, but it's still fun. I'm waiting until I get an arcade stick as a PS3 pad just doesn't suffice for advanced gameplay.
