Question: PS2 DMC Used

ok. I went to gamestop today and bought a used version of DMC.

I brought it home and tried it on my PS2. I got to the first allert menu where it says memory card does not have any record of this...blah blah blah... But I had the option of pressing start to begin with default info.

So I do that...and I get a blank screen...for like ten minutes.

I think, "well, maybe it is scratched." So I get it out, wipe it off, and there really arn't any scratch marks on it.

so basically my question is -WTF is wrong with it? And should I return it or is there a step I'm leaving out?

any help would be uber awesome.

Maybe try deleting the game data from the memory card if its on there and restart, cause it aint the cd if it aint scratched, and if its the memory card telling you then delete it from the card and give it another go. Thats all i can think of to solve your problem. If the problem comes back then i dont know what the problem may be

Maybe gamestop put a hack on the game so they get your money and you get a black screen lol

game stop has a 7 day trial period. I can return it...I think....the dude will just be pissed.

I would say get another copy or buy the collection with all three games. You get it new and also get the two other games.
