Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep - is a prequel to Kingdom Hearts 1 that will focus on new characters, known as Terra, Ven, and Aqua. This game takes place 10 years prior to Kingdom Hearts I.

Kingdom Hearts Coded - A release for the Japanese mobile phone market.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days - For the DS, mainly focused on the time of Roxas being in the Organization XIII.

Well, I beat the first game and Chain of Memories. Currently at the beginning of II. I'm waiting until 358/2 days comes out.

I don't have PSP or a DS so I'm just gonna wait for those games to come out and check out the story.

Chain of Memories and Re: Chain of Memories are same story line I think, just for different consoles. I haven't bought or played either yet, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Lol just last night I played it on my first file I ever made. Beat him easily with the Kingdom Keyblade since all of my Sora's stats are like 100+ since I have over like 80 hours on it and made so many AP boosts, Strength boosts, Magic Boosts, and Defence boosts.

By max do you mean level 99? I got that a long time ago, I don't think theres a max with Strength, Magic, and Defence stats. If there is correct me if I'm wrong.

The best place to get the Ingredients to make Mythril items for the boosts like power, magic, defence and all that is The World that Never Was. It's my favorite world since I always 1 hit all the nobodies, and their item drops are good for synthesizing. When I go "hunting" for items, I always have Sora, Donald, and Goofy equip the item that gives "Lucky Lucky" since it gives more chance of item drops.

Atlantica in KH II was horrible....I think most people would agree besides that KH II was awesome.

Favorite Worlds:

Port royal was fun I like how they incorporated the undead pirates and moon light, that made for interesting fights.

Personally I think in KH2 a lot of the worlds were small. Like Port Royal, there were only 3 places you could go to. If they make a third one, hopefully they will bring in the next Pirates of the Carribean movies, like with the Kraken and Davy Jones, that would be interesting story line. They'll probably involve like second movies as well, like Little Mermaid 2 and all that, since in the credits in the second movie it shows Ariel getting married.

Personally I didn't really like Atlantica worlds on either game, I loved the Pinnochio level on the first one, the Whale world was pretty tight.

I was only around level 81 in the first game when I took on Sephiroth. He killed me a few times before I used a strategy incorporating Sonic Blade and Ars Arcanum. The Ansem battles were very easy, though with the Ultima Weapon and all.

Sephiroth was fun in the second one, only bad thing is you can only fight him once, unlike Kingdom Hearts 1 when you can keep fighting him in the Platinum match. It was pretty entertaining fighting him with the reaction command.

I don't think I ever used any strategy during Sephiroth on either games, just healed when I was low health and kept wacking him whenever I could.

I was pissed at his Heartless Angel move the first few times I fought him in I. If you were far away he would use it then he would dash straight at you before you could use an elixir.

And yes, the reaction commands are a great addition. I like the tweaks they made in the second entry, especially the improved camera.

The reaction commands were a good idea but they could have been done much better, alot of the boss battles turned into just spamming Triangle

Favorite "spam the triangle" part in the game to me was at the end when you deflect all those missles. That part was by far my favorite scene in the game.

I don't think anything has changed about it since 2 Final Mix was released. Basically the 'officials' have said, "Yeah, we'll make a number 3" but confirmation and/or production have yet to be mentioned.

I thought the Xemnas battles were awesome...although he was easy cause I went in at Level 99 and Ultima Weapon.

They're making 358/2 Days and Birth by Sleep right now. Maybe they'll make the ending secret scene on Birth by Sleep for KHIII or something. Since they made the secret scene for the second about Birth by Sleep, which doesn't make sense since Birth by Sleep takes place 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1. Reminds me of Star Wars movies how they jumped all over.

I always meant to play these games but just never got around to it! I did however play chain of memories on the GBA and although it was good, I know it's quite different from the PS2 games.

Personally I think there were too few Nobodies in Kingdom Hearts 2. There were only like 9 or so different kinds of them. I know they're a new race and you have to have a "strong heart" apparently in the game to be turned into a heartless and a nobody, but still only 9 or so? Compared to the number of heartless that was nothing.

In Birth by Sleep hopefully they'll bring in a lot more nobodies along with the new race of unbirths.

Square said Birth by sleep is a main adaption to the KH timeline whilst the KH game on DS is just a spin-off.

Google already has some images of Birth by sleep and 358/2 Days if any of you are interested, and the new race symbol the "unbirths." I'll post a picture later today to show you what they are.

In one of the picture sit shows Roxas holding a blue ball or something running away from the cat in the Cinderlla movie, Sylvester or whatever its called, so that might be one of the worlds in the game. He's the size of one of the mice though, so I'm guessing you're helping Cinderella with the mice.

Kingdom Hearts I is when Sora turned into the heartless to save Kairi's heart, and when he was turned into the heartless his nobody, which was Roxas, so he was created in the first Kingdom Hearts it just didn't show it.

Also as I promised earlier, the new Unbirths.

I remember the first time I played Kingdom Hearts 2 I was like "Who the hell is this kid and where the hell is Sora?" Once I saw Sora come out of that hibernation pod a great wave of relief blew over me.

The first time playing the game I didn't really understand the whole Nobody stuff and all that. Beating games the second time are usually the more interesting time, since you know the story line and know who you have to fight and all of that.

The first time I played the game not really, I was eager to play as Sora again. The second time I played it it was alright, just hearing the "Computer at 17%" and all that crap was annoying, since you knew it had to go all the way to 100% until you could play as Sora.

The first time I ever played Kingdom Hearts games on the first one, I never read how to change the keyblade, so whenever I got one of the new chains after you beat the world I was like "What the hell are these things I'm getting?" I always loved the scene after you beat Riku 1 vs. 1, in Kingdom Hearts I and Kingdom Hearts II I saved files at parts in the game that I would want to play over and over again. Like in Kingdom Hearts II, I saved one before you get to fight Sephiroth, and another before you fight Xigbar, the guy with the guns, the representative of the Sniper nobodies. I also saved before the battle where you fight 1,000 heartless and a file before you fight Demyx, the water element Organization member.

I always loved the conversation Sora has with Demyx, especially when Demyx gets mad in the end and says "Silence traitor." I always like his expression during that and when he creates the water above him.

I never make more than one save for my games. The only one I backed up was FF XII because I have 120 hours on it and my KH files.

On Kingdom Hearts games I make my first file twice, incase I save over it or something, then the rest of the files are scenes that I want to see over again or battles that I'd want to redo over and over.

On my Kingdom Hearts 1 first file I have like 60 hours or more on it or something. On my Kingdom Hearts 2 first file I have over 80 hours on it, and more soon since I'm still raising my Sora's stats.

Judging that they're probably making a secret scene for it at the end of Birth by Sleep, no idea. The creators who are making Kingdom Hearts games are pretty much pulling a whole Star Wars making thing on us. Going back in time then going forward in games.

I think they did KH1, then Chain of Memories, then after that KH2, and now they're going back 10 years before KH1 and making Birth by Sleep not to mention 358/2 Days, then probably after that they're going to release KH3.

358/2 Days is coming for the DS, it's coming out May 30th in Japan, so it probably won't take long to come out in America. Birth by Sleep is coming out for the PSP, and I think Wikipedia says it's coming out in Q4, so sometime in the winter for Japan/America I believe.

Yeah, I remember I was in like 6th grade when I first played Kingdom Hearts 1, had to wait like 3 hellish long years for Kingdom Hearts 2 to come out lol. Hard to believe looking back on it that I had to wait 3 years.

As for KH3 that won't come for a loooong time since the KH and FF team are both working on Final Fantasy versusXIII

358/2 Days comes out in May 30th in Japan, sometime near August I've heard over the net for America, not sure about the American date though. I'm positive on the Japan date because its on wikipedia and theres Japanese trailers for it all over youtube and the internet.

When it shows the Organization in their seats all circled around, Xemnas says "I now present to you the fourteenth member of the Organization." Then the girl walks into the center and is ready to take off her hood. Apparently her name is Xion and she's friends with Roxas and Axel. Their relationships are like Sora's, Kairi's, and Riku's. Apparently she is the nobody of Sora and Kairi combined, since Kairi's heart was in Sora's or something like that (more info on the internet.)

When it shows Axel summon his fire weapons and yelling at her, he's saying "I will definitely bring you back." If you don't believe me theres also subbed videos of this on youtube.

Yeah, but I don't bother with that since you need like special memory cards or something like that. It's easier to just play them on a Ps2.

On another note, if the cutscenes in the game look like that on a Nintendo DS, you have to admit thats going to be a pretty kick-ass game. I myself am looking forward to its release.

I think you mean Internal memory cards, it's fairly simple to do if your PS3 has BC and you dont need to buy anything extra.

Just remember once you create it to assign it to slot 1, otherwise if you tried to save a game and it wasn't assigned it wouldn't allow you to save it.

I'm still making strength boots/ap boosts/magic boosts in my first KH2 file lol. My guy has like 130+ strength now with just the sweet memories keyblade, which has no strength bonus. Doing the Hades cup with that high strength plus the Ultima Weapon which makes 140+ strength is pretty fun lol.


By the way, Rip I know you haven't started or are a little into Kingdom Hearts 2, but if you'd like I can post a synthesizing list on here. It's pretty helpful, it's what I use to make all those boosters. It's a list that shows what monster drops which specific synthesizing item. Just let me know and I'll get to posting it on here.

Neither did I, but once you finish Jiminy's journal theres not much else to do lol. So that's all I really do is go to certain areas and kill for the items to make items to get Sora stronger.

I'm not going to post the items that you can synthesize, just the list of what monsters drop what items to synthesize lol. It says in the game which synthesizing items you need for which item anyways, if you printed the list out you'd just have to find which monsters drop which items.

What key blade did you use most?

For getting items like that its best to have Sora, Goofy, and Donald all have the ability "Lucky Lucky" equipped. Also to have the weapons that have the ability "Lucky Lucky." For Sora its Sweet Memories, it has 0 strength bonus though which is why I have his strength so high. I forget the ones that they're called for Goofy and Donald, but I think you get the one for Donald in the Pirates of the Carribean world, and the one for Goofy in the Mulan Palace.

Yeah, just equip the ability and weapons that give "Lucky Lucky" to your party and you should get items a lot.

Genie is the best summon in Kingdom Hearts 2, set him on Valor form then just use his attack, its the strongest in my opinion. The Stitch summon was only useful in the colliseum, when you had to get a lot of orbs during the titan cup I think, I forget which one it was when you could use summon. That's the only way to get a lot of orbs during that one, use stitch's guitar attack.

Yeah I use a final form a lot when getting synthesis items. Just run past a lot of enemies, do magnega and it kills all of them and automatically brings the things they drop to you. It's fastest way to collect items, its how I do it.

Since I already posted a teaser for 358/2 Days, I guess its time for me to post one on Birth by Sleep. From what I've heard over the net while I've been lurking basically, the bald guy with the gotee is Master Xehanort, the one in the black and red clothing thats usually near him is his apprentice. The main characters that you play as during the game are Ven(tus), Aqua, and Terra.

Ven, Aqua, and Terra, all of their keyblades don't have keychains, while the other people's in the game do. That is something that a lot of people are debating about all over youtube and the internet.

Here's a video of a lot of videos from the game I've found on youtube for Birth by Sleep. It actually looks pretty good if its for the PSP with those graphics.

I only used Simba and Bambi one time each in I. I rather use specials like Sonic Blade than summons.

Goofy's knocksmash limit is pretty good for dealing damage as well.

Do any of you remember the song "Simple and Clean" from Kingdom Hearts 1? If you liked it you might want to check out the Guitar version of it, its pretty bad ass in my opinion. I found it when I was lurking around youtube last night for more information on these games lol.

A little bit, he said that he thinks the Apprentice was Riku, but this game is based 10 years before Kingdom Hearts 1, so unless the person inside that Armor is like 4, I doubt it lol.

Also I think King Mickey has that keyblade instead of the gold one because he's still in training, in one of the videos I've seen it shows Mickey training at the Master Yen Sid castle with Master Yen Sid, the castle that you go to in KH2.

What Blunt posted isn't KH3, KH3 isn't even being made yet probably. They're only working on Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, and Coded. The video that Blunt posted is the teaser for Birth by Sleep.

Nothing is coming out for the Ps3, unless they're playing a long april fools joke. They might make KH3 for Ps3, but thats a long time in the future for us.

Yup there is Chain of memories for GBA, Square remade it in PS2 graphics and released it with KH2 final mix. You can buy Final mix in Japan, AU and the US but it hasn't released in EU yet and it's unlikely it will.

Well, Roxas was born during KH1 when...Sora was turned into a heartless.

So 358/2 Days would take place from there, through CoM, leading into the beginning of KH2.

I think it'd be kind of cool to play as Roxas during his backstory because you don't get to hear about it too much during KH2.

Yeah if people understood the Heartless and Nobodies creation they knew when Roxas was born lol.

Oh by the way, for those of you who don't know yet, the names of the Nobodies come from the original person who became a heartless scrambled up and then add an "X" in it. Since Nobodies don't have a soul (I think I can't remember) so they're just known as "X." Ex: Sora - Roxas

Apparently you get to play as Roxas and some other Organization members as well, like Axel.

Why does it suck it's on the DS? I like that it's on the DS, mostly beccause my only systems are the DS and PSP, but still.

Yeah, mostly because its continuing the storyline. Like 358/2 days is basically a filler, since its showing what happened during Roxas' time in the organization. Also since Birth by Sleep was the hidden trailer in KH2.
