Dear Diary,
Today we had to kill one of our members. He started showing the signs of the Death. I think his name was Jim. A couple days ago, he was the one that sacrificed his blanket for the little 5 year old girl. We're all really worried about her.
There are rumors going around that the government is sending in Army reinforcements to kill all the Dead within the month. I can't even remember what month it is, anymore.

P.S. I learned that before the Death evolved and wasn't as bad, it was called the Swine Flu.

The year is 2025. The Swine Flu has somehow evolved, reanimating it's victim's heart 2 hours after the victim's death. Mexico has been hit hardest with the Death, the disease's new name, having been quarantined for safety. Everyone who lived in the country or was just visiting was trapped, and will not be released until someone discovers the cure. Though no one wants to believe it, the chances of a cure are incredibly slim.

You are either a survivor or a victim. The survivors of the Death have been traveling in groups, avoiding the victims all together. When one of their members start to show signs of the disease, they are immediately killed.
The victims have only one goal: to spread the disease. They are aware of what they are doing, and have control of themselves. They're just not the same as they once were.
The victims go through 3 stages. The first stage is when you are just getting the disease. You start to show the signs, and you slowly lose your sanity. In stage 2, you have already died and been reanimated. Though you are not aware of your goal. Stage 3 victims are aware of their goal, and are the most dangerous.
