Another missing on the list is Walt Disney Animation studios...I grew up with their productions.

out of the ones you posted up there I chose Pixar, not only for movies like Ratatouille, Up or wall-e, but pixar has also made numerous amazing short animations (Tin Toy, Geri's Game, Jack-Jack Attack, One Man Band, For the Birds...)

It is kind of cliche, but it's Pixar for me. I enjoyed more of Pixar's movies than those of the other studios you'd listed. I wasn't bought over by Toy Story though. My favourite Pixar movie is 'Wall-E'.

Yes Sahar, Studio Ghibli is awesome. 'My Neighbour Totoro'...is simply unforgettable.

Dead tie between Pixar(Toy Story, Finding Nemo) and Dreamworks(Shrek) for me.
I grew up with Walt Disney, but these days good animated productions from them are very rare - last Disney movie I remember really enjoying was Lilo & Stitch. LOVE that movie.

I've really liked every movie that Pixar has come out with. I love how their movies are actually made for the whole family, not just the kids or just the adults. It's a hard balance to make, and they do a very good job at it. As for my favorite, it's kinda hard to say. Toy story 2, Wall-E, and Monsters Inc. all hold places in my heart.

Oh, and Studio Ghibli rocks! Too bad it wasn't on the list.

I'd have to say Pixar.
I think I've seen more of theirs then Dreamworks.
But none animated, Dreamworks puts out more then pixar.
Odd that A) Disney wasn't on this list. B) why is it best animated, and it's not asking about Japinese animation.
