Porno Graffitti made FMA 1st opening theme song ("Melissa") or GTO 2nd opening theme song ("Hitori No Yoru"), and SunSet Swish has already worked on Bleach (made 6th ending, "My Pace") as well as 2nd Ookiku Furikabutte ending theme ("Big Windup!").

New opening will be from ep.243 - if the animation for it is generic or has a lot (or even any) of the zan' spirits in it, then we know that this filler arc is going to go on for at least another season (20+ episodes), bringing us up to ep.265-ish for a return to canon (at the very earliest).

I was already begging for a new opening as I dislike the current one, but now I'm really interested in seeing the new one. I don't mind the current ending though - it's actually fairly decent.

It's confirmed. In fact, they both have confirmed it in his respective websites (Porno Graffitti (http://i33.tinypic.com/2lml3s6.png) and SunSet Swish (http://i37.tinypic.com/345eqzc.png)). Even Porno Graffitti confirmed single's release date (11-25-2009).

I have the same feeling on the ED, but I actually kinda like the OP. the visual on both songs are great though. I like how they give every character their own spotlight.

aw man, I thought I would be able to make this thread. but yes, animenewsnetwork has it as well - the new op will be "Anima Rossa (アニマロッサ)" by Porno Graffiti. I'm very interested, because I did like the current OP but I'm getting kind of tired of it, seeing that by the time the new one comes around (which should be October 27th) it will have been airing for 28 episodes.

however, I suppose this information could be wrong. I remember the 7th opening (which is After Dark) was originally thought to be "Can You?" by Psychic Lover for quite a while. Either way, I'm hoping that with this op we'll return to canon material, but the future may not be so bright..

The Current one is easily the worse Bleach opening ever released...hopefully this new one will be more enjoyable...i never had to actually skip over a Bleach intro until this current one....With that said, hopefully the dont bring back canon episodes atleast till Jan or Feb...I personally would prefer a whole year of filler just to get back to quality canon episodes..

Thanks so much for posting that IchiRuki! The song sounds pretty awesome...can't wait to see some animation with it. I didn't know who did the ending for Fade to Black, but I adore that song. I think I'll keep my ears open for these guys...I like their sound. :D

Edited because I suck and I missed veldalight's link of the new SunSet Swish! I think I need to hear more of it, but it sounds alright by me so far! Thanks for sharing! :D

From the sequence, looks like we're in it for the long haul. We can only hope that it will only last halfway through this OP, otherwise it'll be April by the time we get back to the manga storyline..ah well. I'll just hope that the rest of the filler is kickass as the OP ^^

If this opening is a small preview, then, it seems Hichigo and Ichigo will be side to side fighting someone. (Muramasa?)

Of course, it might just be the small cease-fire they had when fighting Zangetsu, but seems interesting.

Very interesting. Going to take some time to get used to, but I like it more than the last. I'm actually in a way happy that the arc is going to continue for a while, as I feel there's a lot that can be done with the theme. Curious how Orihime, Ishida and Chad were at the end though, will they be making an appearence because they've been pretty absent up until now ...

EDIT: Just noticed Kenpachi is at the end as well, god I hope he comes in at some point. I'd love to see him rip some of the more annoying zan spirits to shreds. Yes I'm looking at you haikneo.

The opening is a vast improvement over the previous one. I really like it. It'll be good to be able to stand watching the openings again. The ending was alright. Nothing special, but it'll do. I'm really glad that this suggests the fillers will go on for quite a long time. This arc has great potential and it will buy a lot of time for the manga to get ahead.

Don't know who that mystery character is. Might be someone to be introduced later in the arc.

It seems that way. I was hoping it would be just a short mini-arc, but no such luck. It's enjoyable, but it's getting repetitive. Although, I guess the FKT stuff coming up soon won't be much better.

The depressing rain OP with wet Hitsugaya and Matsumoto fanservice, lame ,very lame , the lamest music. It looks like another Bleach psp game OP even the last HtS OP was better.

Can't really say I'm a fan. I was glad just to have a new opening but I couldn't bring myself to like this one at all.

My favorite openings are still Asterisk and After Dark. Velonica was pretty sweet too. As for the Ed, meh, most of the others are terrible anyway, the only ending I liked a lot was the one we had during the Fake K-Town fights, Kimi wo...something.

For such fight filled arc they choose depressive ED that completely ruins the mood of the overall episode, really what are they thinking, if anything at all?

OP is kinda okay, but I expected much better from Porno Grafitti TBH. This is nowhere near their epic song that was used for FMA (Melissa).

though i very much prefer shoujo s to this new one.

my favourite opening out of all tie between asterisk, d-technolife, and velonica (i like the way they did the video for velonica. it fit with the music... i dunno lmfao)

my favourite endings are Thank You!, tsumasaki, gallop, and hitohira no hanabira. bleach music is amazing, though the new opening and ending arent as epix as the others have been.

though i dont like many of the endings. ive liked almost all the openings. <3
