On October 3, 2009 at the Morelia International Film Festival, Quentin Tarantino announced that Kill Bill 3 would be his eighth film, and would be released in 2014. He said he intends to make another unrelated film before that date as his seventh film. He confirmed that he wanted ten years to pass between the Bride's last conflict, to give her and her daughter a period of peace.

It's possibly gunna be called Kill the Bride.
The story of how all the people the Bride pissed off in her quest for vengeance come back and bite her in the ass.
And he's waiting until 2014 so that Beatrix and her daughter have ten years of happiness before shit fucks up.

Really? I haven't heard about this until now. I'm looking forward to it though!
I kinda have to agree, Beatrix and her daughter probably get their ten years of peace before shit hits the fan again--maybe the daughter will be old enough and have learned enough from her mother to fight?
But wow...that's a long time to wait for it to come out.

BB's gunna be eighteen by the time this movie takes place, from what I can tell. So yeah, she's gunna be kicking ass, I bet. And Uma Thurman has confirmed she's gunna be kicking ass in KB3.
Tarantino announced it last Saturday.

Pretty sure she was eight in the movie? Hm.
(...after a quick google)
I looked it up. Yeah you're right. Oh well, I'm sure she'll still kick ass.

I concur.
Fourteen should be old enough to contribute to some mayhem.
I doubt it. The reason Beatrix left Bill in the first place is because she wanted a different life for BB. Do you really think Beatrix would teach her how to fight?
I thought the main character of the newest volume was supposed to be the girl from the beginning of the first volume of Kill Bill, the black girl who saw Beatrix kill her mom in front of her. That girl was around eight years old, and ten years later she'd be about the right age to want to go get revenge.

This is five years away and you expect me to be logical. This excitement stage.
I guess, now that you bring it up, that is unlikely. Though, she might have 'cuz she did say to Nikki in one of the first scenes if she ever felt raw about her mum's death she could come after her. So she might have wanted the kid to be on her toes.

I am sure if they want to use BB they will just come up with a storyline in which BB simply trains behind Beatrix's back.

I forgot all about Nikki. Yeah, that'd be awesome if the bride is on the receiving end of a revenge quest.
Ya know, as long as Tarantino puts his usual flare on this film then it'll be awesome.
Not so crazy bout waiting five years though. Well at least there's a time frame on this sequel. That's more than I can say for All Saints Day.
very, very interesting...
