I loved the hand on the shoulder part at the end. I'm not sure if Kishi did it in the manga, but nice touch by the animators if not. I can't help but tear up, but I'm getting better lol.

Since this is the official anime death date of Jiraiya, I will be using a Jiraiya avatar in remembance. To a great character, he was the first character that I was truly sad to see die.

It was a great episode. Jiraiya was a good character, had a lot of potential for this anime/manga, but, alas, things don't often work out the way we want it. 10/10

I would dread to see the disney channel version of this, they would basically cut out half of the episode, because of the blood.

I kinda wish Naruto's author would take a page from Bleach's author and not kill of super popular and awesome characters but maybe that is one reason Naruto is a better read/watch. You fight people stronger than you you may die.
11 out of 10. It was Super Perfect. I almost teared up and already knew what was going to happen.

What an epic episode. Still sad that such a great character was killed off =(. Really smooth animation in the episode, nothing wrong with it. Overall 10/10 XD.
