Brushes ...

Well, hi xD

I don't feel like doing a lot of chatter so I'll get right to the point. :P

I've been working with Photoshop for about 1.5 year I think, and everything works out quite well actually, I understand most of the commands, what the blending options do etc.

BUT, the only thing I just can't seem to do is using brushes :X
Problem is: those are used in the best art pieces and I wanna make better stuff as well (notice my crappy done sig?).

So, my question is simple, would anyone have some tips on using brushes for me?

I'd suggest downloading brushes from Deviant Art (http://www.deviantart.com/). Just go and search Photoshop brushes and you will get a ton that you can download. After that, it is all about playing with what you have and using the other commands that you already know to make those brushes: standout, blend in, create depth or add effect. It is really just takes experimenting with the brushes to get better at using them.
