Photoshop elements 4.0

I have a question im new in that scene and i tried to make some signs but.....
And i ask is elements good or do i need photoshop 8 and some tipps how to star are also welcome thx

Hmm i tried to add some brushes but after a minute the picture was gone... it was only black/grey ...Could you give me some advise how i could start/add brushes i have download some brushes already but...

Aren´t u turning around the versions atm?
as in ps v 4.0 and 9.0?
anyways.. there shouldn't be much difference i think..
And you can allways get 9.0 from the internet :P
