pt.3 the big tounament

So I played in basically my 1st golf tounament today.

I played in a 4-man team with my grandpa and two others,a father and son.

The way this turnament works is all 4 guys take a shot then we decide which of the 4 shots is best and then we all 4 hit from there all the way to the hole.

whats good about this is you have 4 chances to make each shot,and on putts if u dont putt 1st u can see how it will roll before u putt.

I was worried going 1 because i'm a horrible golfer,2 guys generally frown on you entering tournaments if you cant play.

as ive stated is previous blogs im 50/50 on putting[some days you have it],i'm horrible with a driver,but im rock solid with my irons.

I was hoping to help the team with my irons,which i did.

but before the tourney started i hit on the on course driving range and got some confidense with my driver and ended up hitting decent with it.

highlight if the day i got my 1st ever chip in.it was 25 yards out and for birdie,i also made 1 other birdie putt.

my team thru 18 holes had 1 bogie[bad]and 5 birdies[good] to finish at -4 under par for the tornament.

we finished 4th[way better than i hoped],there was 1 team -10 under par and 2 tied at 8-under par.
we finished 1 place out of getting a trophy.

I played better than i hoped to and finished way better than i thought possible.
4th place aint bad for your 1st big golf tournament.
