A few things about the sereitei battle pit (aka Battle Arena)

Ok the purpose of my first blog is to clarify certain things about the arena and express my rage and many of the pubbies who post there.

A. The battle pit isnt a place to post your opinions about characters. The battle pit is a place for coherent, logical arguments based upon feats performed by the characters in question, perfomed by characters beaten by the former and abilities. For example, someone who is shown dodging bullets (not dodging aim) is much faster then characters from say naruto who have difficulty dodging much bigger, slower knives. Another example would be say Ichigo vs Alucard. Sure ichigo is probably faster, however being that alucard is Immortal, ichigo looses. (shitty examples, i know)

B. Read the thread before posting.

If your going to post in a thread read the first post known as the OP. In the OP details such as who is fighting whom, WHERE they are fighting, WHAT they are allowed and WHO is with them.

Further more the validity of anime vs manga is determined by the post maker. If nothing is said then manga takes precedence due to it being cannon. Fillers also do not count unless stated by the OP

Additionaly by reading the thread, your post arent redundant. Ive seen so many posts saying x would beat y where y has many clearly defined reason why he would loose, not x.

c. Character rules

Unless stated by the OP, all characters are bloodlusted meaning they will use all means neccesary to defeat their enemy. No character induced stupidity (not finishing your opponent, speeches before fights etc), NO PLOTKAI. The latter one is the most important. Characters such as Rukia Kuchiki, Sesshomaru, that win by luck and not skill should not be considered strong fighters.

d. Reasearch before posting

If you dont know much about a character dont put him in the thread, god make sure you know the people you are putting in your matchup because threads that are one sided are boring and never last long. Don't look like an idiot.

E. POST PROOF IF ASKED! if your going against the majority and saying a certain character wins, post evidence, dont resort to fanboyism.

F. If you dont know much about a character dont just say the other dude you know wins, just ask if your uncertain.

G. Personal attacks are useless. Logos>pathos and ethos. If your gona insult someone or call them a fanboy etc, you might as well be shouting at a wall.
