Character list

I don't understand how you can like characters that are
A. totally completely and utterly DEAD (Ulquiorra, Stark)
B. hardly been expanded upon (Ryuuken, I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS GUY DO? Nothing so far.)

Why can you not like a dead character? Death is one of the best ways of fleshing them out, if it's done well. So no one can like Zack? Aerith?

Considering almost everyone in Bleach is dead lol. Anyway, death doesn't make a character less likeable. And Ryuuken is likeable because he's (probably) powerful, yet utterly indifferent to the issues going on. He could help, yet he doesn't, that's a fairly interesting approach, to me anyway.

Well, yeah, I meant death as in, we started knowing them fifty chapters ago, and then they died. In that way, I have no idea how spoon dude can like Stark.

Aeris got like twenty hours, and for the amount I've played Crisis Core Zack got like 50, so I mean... you know... CASE BY CASE BASIS BRO.

Ulquiorra was around for a good 200+ chapters :P

I can like a character almost instantly, as soon as Shunsui offered Chad some sake he became a favourite of mine, everything he's done since then has just added to that. Yachiru scaring the messenger away, headbutting Orihime & biting Ikkaku were enough for me to like her, & her omakes with Byakuya are some of the funniest moments in Bleach.

Starrk & Ulquiorra, despite being dead, had interesting outlooks on life. Starrk's wanting to let others live & joining Aizen due to severe loneliness makes him one of the more realistic characters & Ulquiorra's need to prove his superiority to Ichigo, while struggling to believe it himself was a nice twist on what could have been a very 2-dimensional character.

Every character is 2-dimensional... :P

@Cake: Yeah I know what you mean, I find it easy to instantly like a character. I didn't really like any of the Espada that much at first but all the Captains had their own charm. Shunsui became an insta-fave because of his laziness for me :P

You have that funny looking slut Matsumoto up there and not O`hime ?

If I had made it during the SS arc or earlier, Orihime probably would have been in it, lately she's been less entertaining. Matsumoto's shikai reminds me of Gaara & she's a drunk, that's probably the main reasons I like her.

I rarely have sensible reasons for liking characters.
