Question for you guys; where is the line drawn when concerning Ethics in science?

I was recently speaking with a guy who is a post doc with a PhD in Genetics, and we were speaking on various useful things one could do to try and combat deadly diseases such as cancer. Instead of testing animals, the thought of cloning humans as a means to test deadly diseases became a topic. Is this ethically good or bad?

Also, the thought of harvesting clones for organs as they could be used for "just in case" measures was also another interesting topic we spoke on, although it ended up getting philosophical in the end, it was a good discussion to be honest.

    What are your thoughts?

i can't decide if i'm an epicurian or hedonist. epicurian is a bit more classy, but hedonist is a bit more honest

Which one of the following doesn't belong?
    a) Muskrats
    b) Seals
    c) Beavers
    d) Termites
    e) Sparrows <--- this one doesn't belong, I'd say, since it's not a mammal.

(edit: and then I saw TERMITES and facepalmed. So I now say, the termites don't belong, considering they are the odd choice, being insects.)
    Otherwise, hello everyone.

Oh, it just reminded me of that with all the questions, except it's more difficult in Quiz Bowl.

Was going to leave DJEZ's question for someone else, but got to keep the group alive.

I thought it was more, but as 4 is the most you got, I am going to say Four moons.

Which planets, including Pluto (I refuse to accept Pluto as anything other than a full-fedged planet), experience total solar eclipses?

Also, my previous question still stands:

Which one of the following doesn't belong?
    a) Muskrats
    b) Seals
    c) Beavers
    d) Termites
    e) Sparrows

(hint: this is a scientific social group so don't focus on words, but instead the animals)
