As for least favorites I hated 1984. Worst book ever.

I enjoyed reading The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. V for Vendetta and several of the other books written by Alan Moore were excellent too.

The 2004 revised Gunslinger >>>>>> the version that everyone admits was poorly done. My friend recommended it to me for years and years and when the revision came out it was so much better/easier to read. Though the series drags on so bad and I just kind of gave up halfway through book 5 since it's all the same.

Yeah it's a shame none of the other spiderman timelines are any good. Brand new day is crap, anything Ultimate Marvel is just win and the last issue I read (126) brought venom back and mentioned something about a 3rd world war... and then I promptly couldn't find anymore so I'm freaking out.

I just love the kotor comics, I love ANYTHING old republic, but since I'm so poor I haven't gotten anything past volume 3.

Anyway I wouldn't exactly recommend Dark Tower, but I do recommend the Gunslinger and even books 2 and 3 as they're great.

All this talk reminds me of how much I need to buy =(

The Chronicles of Narnia has a great movie adaptation.

Ultimate Spiderman is awesome, but I havent read it since Kitty put that bag on her head and started helping Spidey.

I thought the Gunslinger was super boring. In fact I don't think I even finished reading it. I heard the Dark Tower series was great, but so far I am not impressed.

    My personal favorites:
Catcher in the Rye (from highschool... memories abound there)
    LOTR
    Jurassic Park
    Frankenstein
    Dracula was pretty good too
Lord of Snow and Shadow (not well known)
    The Gunslinger

As for movie adaptations LOTR is one of the best ever, and the Harry Potter movies (if you're into the books) are pretty faithful.

Lately though I've been all about comics/manga. Blood Alone(manga), Ultimate Spiderman, the KOTOR comics, Zero(manwha), just to name a few.

The Ender series has lots of books but I've only read Ender's Game and Speaker for the Dead.
You can either follow Ender's story or one of the other student from battle school.
Speaker for the Dead takes place about 3000 years after Ender's Game because of space travel you sleep for hundreds of years before reaching your destination without aging.
The other student stays on Earth and you find out what happends directly after Ender leaves.

Ash, there's another Ender book out. Ender in Exile, I think it's called. I haven't read any of the Ender books but I'm considering taking them up soon.

    Some of my favorites are:
    Sherlock Holmes
    LOTR
    Jane Eyre
    The Silmarillion
    Three Kingdoms
    The Historian

I thought it was a link to a bookworm site when I clicked. I like the name of the group.
A few books I have read include The Godfather, Virgil's Aeneid, and Hammett's Maltese Falcon.
A few of my favorite authors include Edgar Allan Poe, Ernest Hemingway, and John Keats.
    Have a good day.

Need more members. Books are cool, though. There's a lot I'd like to say. When was this thing created?
