Been a while sense I've written here.

I found out that the "wheel of time" will come out as a 3 part series to complete the finial book. According to the author (Branden Sanderson) the content to complete it, and not leave open any lose ends was too massive to put simply into 1 or 2 books. Which makes sense imo. I'm happier it comes in this format. I'd rather the fans didn't get shorted because of space.

Apparently the last book in "the Malazan" series was just released (according to boarders), but there should be 1 more following it, As in the last 2 books I've bought has stated a forthcoming title. Could be a prequel.

I never did get around to finishing off "eyes of god." Just got to be a bit pretentious. I don't care much for the slow development.

Currently working on "toll the hounds" 8th book in the "Malazan" series. I did notice 2 more books made about other chrs from the series. however I don't have the cash atm to buy them.

Not reading much form manga's. Naruto and bleach mostly. BUT "darker then black" epic! I totally love the second season.

How is Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? The cover makes it look like it's worth a read for zombie fans, but would I have had to read the actual Pride and Prejudice to really get it?

I seriously should just kill myself now. I'm now reading four books at once because I'm almost afraid that I won't be able to read them later - Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, The Maltese Falcon; Bless Me, Ultima; and The Great Gatsby. I also have American Psycho and Lolita on my computer waiting to be read.

I've not actually read any of the graphic novels tbh. I prefer to read them in book form lol
I'm just reading the second book he did with Janny Wurtz. The first one was pretty good imo. The second should be a good one too I think.

His first 3 books were the best I think. The characters all stand up on their own and the story is just fantastic. Jimmy The Hand has to be the best character of those books.

I've had David Gemmel - Legend recommended to me this week.
    Has anyone read it?

@Kariya: How is the graphic novel turning out? I've heard about it but not yet investigated it. I too definitely rate Magician as a book btw. And quite a few of his others too, though the original Riftwar books have always been my favourites. What do you think of the books he co-authored with Janny Wurts?

If anyone else is into so-called dark fantasy, then I recommend Joe Abercrombie as a recent author. Just fyi.

Yeah but with it being a graphic novel and Marvel, they are doing it in volumes. I think the next one is #5.
