That's different, the Silmarillion is a completely different plot within the world of Lord of the Rings. Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King is all one coherent plot arc.
The Silmarillion is also a Genesis story, it tells of the origin of Middle Earth, it's not meant to focus on character relations and personal small angle focus developments, it's MEANT to be a wide sweeping tale of epic nature. It was also published 20 years after Return of the King.
It would be the difference between the overall plot arc of Naruto moving from personal focus to epic focus, and having another completely different manga series set in the same world as Naruto, but mostly unconnected, perhaps it happens hundreds of years after or before but it's OWN series plot arc is unconnected to Naruto's. See what I'm saying?

i saw it some where else and i wanted to see ur guys opinions on it! the other pples thread was more interesting, im suprised to say, what with the quality of our trolls etc, i guess they were not in mood, or it was a bad match up!

Not to sound too greedy, but now Pandora's Tower remains. Oh wells I won't be getting any other wii games soon. Bought Skyward Sword and Super Mario Galaxy, lemme know how xenoblade and last story is ( also Pandora's tower if it comes)
