K, so this is likely going to be my general thread, but for the moment it's going to serve as the picture posting thread for my alternative/previous gotei13 project (which can be found here).

So here's Ikashi Genma and his zan, Hazatsukuruma, in shikai form.

His Zan looks pretty cool, however it doesn't look very Japanish to me. It's more Gothic and Necromantish (lol).

thanks guys! @Alan: hell yeah lol, the hair was taken straight from spike I admit ^_~

@Greg: yeah i totally know what you mean, the spokes are meant to be made out of kinda convulsing looking metal, if you think H.R. Geiger the guy that designed the stuff for Alien then you're along the right lines. The idea was initially formed from the Shurikens that the Predator's use in AVP, I kinda cross bred it with an oversized chakram (Sun Shang Xiang from Dynasty Warriors anyone? ^_^) then added a chain. Inspired by Hisagi's Kazeshini admittedly as well, but it all coms together for a fairly original weapon I feel...

Very cool indeed. What's his fighting style? Does he throw just like Hisagi?

Shikai Ability: The five blade-spokes can propel outwards from the central chakram structure yet remain attached to it by extendable chains contained inside the spoke structure. These chains can extend up to 30 feet. Genma often maintains hold of one bladespoke, using it as a sword of sorts, whilst throwing the chakram wheel and able to retrieve it using the chain attached to the blade spoke. He can also use the chain to guide its movements, as well as extend at speed other spokes out from the chakram in flight to cut off opponents path routes, tangle their weapons or generally hinder their progress. He also uses the chain itself as a weapon, it is capable of defending against blade attacks at close range and also good for tangling and restricting enemy blade weapons up close and personal. Whilst Hanzatsukuruma’s ability seems fairly modest (essentially its just extendable chains) it ultimately allows Genma to wield Hanzatsukuruma in a variety of ways, using it both as a close combat, or a distanced throwing weapon, or maintaining part of it to use as a close combat weapon whilst throwing the rest.

Description:
The weapon itself reverts back to its sealed form, however the increase in reiatsu boosts its cutting power significantly. There is no speed increase, as speed essentially is rendered insignificant by the bankai's ability. The main part of the bankai appears behind Genma, in the form of four large hovering, slowly rotating prayer cylinders, large enough to appear as columns. They are dark red with golden etchings.

Essentially Hanzatsukuruma can, to an extent, manipulate the personal time of a target. There are four prayer cylinder/columns and up to four targets can be manipulated simultaeniously, one for each target. When I say manipulate the personal time of a target, I mean it can slow their movements right down, the amount they are slowed down corresponds roughly with how close they get to Genma himself, until they reach the point where if their sword tip is millimeters away from Genma's chest, they are all but at a complete standstill. Alternatively he can employ its ability with a ranged effect, instead of manipulating time individualy the prayer cylinder-columns work together to deploy an area of ranged effect about a 30 meter radius all around Genma. When used in this method Genma can also target incoming ranged attacks, such as ceros and slow them down, however with both living targets and ranged attacks it must be noted that Hanzatsukuruma cannot manipulate time backwards, but only to within a near standstill point. If an incoming cero is targeted to slow down it counts as one of the four overall targets that can be manipulated.
The senses and mind within their body of a target have normal reaction times, so their though processes remain in normal time, however their body is slowed down so that it cannot keep up. Someone attempting to shunpo/sonido when within four meters of Genma appears as easily visible and not moving much faster than walking pace. Genma cannot use shunpo during bankai, but it really isn't needed. If four targets attack him he can slow them down and literally walk between them delivering finishing blows.

K so here's Daisuke Kenpachi, 11th Division Captain as he appears first having just performed Bankai. He has a lion theme to him, the hilts of the swords are meant to be lions paw and the pommels mini lions heads. He has a lion paw tattoo on his right breast, and that's meant to be a lion pelt hanging from his right hand side over his right hakama leg. This is my first ever attempt drawing a kid sized character and personally I think it was pretty successful; done during a rather boring Ancient History Lecture today.
I'm particularly pleased with how the feet and hands came out, cus im shite at drawing them.
